congrats rainy and family love the name :)
everythings very hectic here so not much time to post..
we are finding out the sex of bubs on sat (hopefully) so let me know if u all want to know or not!!
had an early gd test yesterday and they said id get a call in the avo if it was positive and no call so for now looks like im ok :) they said il still have to have it at 24wks tho coz thats the normal onset time no fair i say!!!

Rainy - Loved your birth story, I read it yesterday but BB wouldnt let me post a reply, I was late for work due to reading it lol. So proud of you!!
Girls I've been having such a hard time getting onto BB lately, it keeps dying on me :(
The good news is, the spots on M have gone, we panicked too soon! Cant believe we are getting married on Sat, most of it is all done & paid for, I'm just doing final touches on everything now. The marquee is up in the backyard, looks very weddingy out there iykwim! Tomorrow I am having my eyelashes extended & tinted, nails done, eyebrows waxed, & hair coloured, pamper day woo hooooo! Starting to feel more at ease with leaving M, the in laws came up over the weekend to help out & they have reassured me & they have drained the spa all together, which is nice to know. So Sunday night we will be saying our goodbyes to her, as we leave at 5am on Mon morning & no doubt she will still be asleep.
So I dont know when I will be on again, I will try my best, if not I will 'talk' to you ladies when we get back from HM - may even get a chance to log on while on HM? :dance: Wish me luck, pray that I dont trip down the isle! Will be thinking of MD tomorrow.
hayley - enjoy your pamper session!! it sounds devine! I hope you have an absolutely magical day. Tell your mil to log on here so she can give us a run down of what M's is up to :lol: How long are you away for on your HM? Hopefully you'll be too busy enjoying yourselves to log on.;)

AFM: well not really getting better. not getting worse, but still. zero energy here which sux. and now have a suspected blood clot in my leg so have been at st vincents hospital all day for tests and stuff. so over it it aint funny.
the upside is that my mum and leila are having a ball with eachother. since mum has been here leila has started to really become a little girl. she is trying sooo hard to talk and role play it's so cute. just loving. i can't wait until i can have the energy to keep up again!

Oh Clare, ya poor bugger. My mum is the boss in the u/s department at StV's. She's on holidays looking after me and Lulu, but we were in there today as my OB is across the road and she had to do a few things. Did you have an u/s? Who did it???? And more importantly did you see a big fat preggo lady with a toddler? ;) Hope you don't have a dvt. :hug: You have had a bad run with sickness lately.
ETA- MD- it is funny pre fires i was so over it and a bit whingy about being tired, sore etc. But since the fires the pregnancy is the last thing on my mind and much easier to deal with! Go figure, a change in mental state makes all the difference. No PIG designated, but i think Rainy would make a good PIG, don't you??? ;)

Rainy - when i saw your post re the outlaws, I drew in a large breath. Maybe you can stay logged on to BB and have a thread open where you can yell and swear. Hopefully though she'll have changed her ways and treat you with some respect this time.

Noni, I really want to know the gender, I am living vicariously though everyone elses scans now lol
I am a bit bummed we aren't doing the scan, I am not bothered about the actual Down Syndrome part of it - due to my age the risk would never be high enough to outweigh the risk of amnio for me anyway. I just really wanted to see it, make sure there is actually something there. I am not one of those people that have any sort of inter-uterine bond with their bubs, I really need the picture evidence to believe there is something growing there. And I am always paranoid about twins! I think I have settled for two children, it would be just my luck to have 2 and 3 on the way lol. Seriously, my belly is quite big, if I fold my arms they rest on the shelf of my belly already. Is that normal for 13.5weeks? I can't remember.
W has a cold atm which he has now passed onto me. It means we can't go to activities and we are both bored hanging around the house. At least nose blowing is easier this year, he can keep a tissue in his pocket and pull it out to blow his own nose when I ask (not very keen now that it is raw and sore though)
Arte, smear some chapstick around his nose - best thing to moisturise without stinging.
LOL at your DH "fixing" the door! PMSL that's exactly the sort of DIY we get around this house.

Rainy I got the email this morning and got some bras and pj's to.
Good news today ladies. CT scans came back all clear. :D :D :D. Still have a way to go (bone marrow biopsy and possibly some precautionary chemo) but now I don't have to lie awake wondering if I have liver cancer. So it's a very relieved MD tonight. About to open a speed-chilled (using the ice and salt trick) bottle of white.
ETA - they gave me the pathology photo of my gallbladder - VERY SEXY...not!
Damn you rainy, i better go and have a LOOK.
Jazmum- we had mexican, and it was sensational. I love Fajitas. A friend swears that 'passage of India' gets labour going everytime, so thought i should have some in the cupboard. ;)

Thanks ladies. I'm so relieved. I think I won't truly relax until the biopsy results come back all clear, kwim? Apparently the lymphoma was all the way thru the walls of the gallbladder - very rare. Trust me to have the freaky health condition. LOL. Mr Head Honcho Surgeon was actually quite chatty and friendly today (unlike last week - don't think he enjoyed being the bearer of bad news) and told me his 1st ex-wife (making me wonder how many ex-wives he has LOL) got a lump on her eyelid - turned out THAT was a lymphoma too. Treated it, all good, that was years ago.
