Awwww Rainy...... i'm having a bit of a cry. What a wonderful story. Made me remember birthing my beautiful little chickens. ( i might keep those images in my head this afternoon so i don't go off at them when they're fighting with each other )
Did you think J was funny at the time or was he giving you the poos? Gave me a good giggle too.
trill - I'd love to see those big trucks in action. I don't think watching them on the telly is the same. I bet A loved it!
-
Andie - i wish Hannah would say Please. I'm trying to teach her at the moment. When she wants anything she says "mum" over and over and over!!!!
My little bub is growing up .... I didn't have to rock her to sleep last night, and she went off to sleep today by herself. I realise this is a good thing, but i love my sleep time cuddle.
-
hi girls!
oh rainy! thanks for sharing your story! how beautiful!!!! sounds like you had a really nice support crew happening there!
sorry have to keep it brief as miss L is having *issues* with nap time...

Oh Rainy you made me cry (pg hormones have kicked in this week). What a wonderful birth and Dh sounds like he did a great job.
Will catch up again tonight, I have just woken up and L should eb awake any minute.
-
JazMum: Its so cute. Jack isn't saying it yet but I do get a Thank you out of him.
GRRRRR! I have a friend coming down 2mrw as she's been laid off work & decided to take her holidays early, anyway, ex's family has found out & now wants me to send a recent pic of the boys back with her. That I was willing to do, but then they asked for both boys to be looking at the camera! Grrrr! I said "i can try. it is extremely difficult with them being so active."
Getting a new mobile number in the next few months & am seriously considering not giving them it!
sorry ... hope everyone is having a pleasant evening.

Thanks for all the messages about my nana, it is so hard to see people you love like that.
PAP, so sorry to hear that your grandfather has Alzheimer's. From everything I have heard/read about it, it would be my worst nightmare. It must be so horrible to see him like that, especially for your mum. I think that we are all so sure that you are having a girl because we want to see a little cutie girl with Noahs beautiful hair!
JaZaH, also sorry that your grandmother has been moved to a rest home. Nana said the staff were nice, but it just wasn't home iykwim. So upsetting.
Rainy, sounds like Jimmy's birth went a lot better than last time. I am glad that Lewis is having an independent stage, very good timing! W also prefers to follow other people around, mostly DH.
Clare, I am soooo not addicted to Twilight. I could stop reading any time at all. Any time, if I wanted to.....
I can understand your friends upset at not getting the next book - that happened to me once and it was painful!
Ange, did you say that you are living two hours from the hospital now? Let me know how that goes for you, my hospital is two hours away as well lol. Hope everything is going well at the new house. BTW, that is me on FB, I have seen you there but I never send friend invites because the school nerd in me is scared of rejection lol
MD, I remember that comment - I wasn't quick enough to read it before you edited though. How is everything going?
Trill, when I visited Nana on Sunday she seemed fine but mum went to see her the next day and she wasn't so good. I am really glad I got to see her on a good day, I had trouble coping with that let alone seeing her in the home actually looking sick. Sounds like you had a good shopping day. All our big towns/cities are 1.5-2 hours away so we end up with a huge list of things we need and have a massive shopping spree. Do you have the Supercheap Auto ad where the dad sends the little boy home in a taxi to fit all his purchases in? It has crossed my mind lol...
I am regretting teaching W about turns. Now if he wants what I am using he says 'William turn' and takes it lol.
He had his first major injury today - I found him crying at the bottom of the outside steps with a big graze down his face :(
Best be off, there is a book calling my name....
ETA, we have decided not to have the NT scan. The silly lady at the scan place said it had to be done during the 13th week and booked me in for 13+5weeks, then when we realised that DH had training he couldn't get out of it was too late to rebook it since the cutoff is 14 weeks.
-
Oh man L has done something to my computer and the writing is all small.
Arte we are only having the scan to see bubble. Your little W sounds so adorable, you need to move back here so we can catch up again.
I am so lost in all the chatter lol, I will have to try and keep up from here on in. Better go and finish the pile of folding that is calling me.
-
Hi girls!
Arte: oh bummer about missing the scan dates! i do love those little bean shots...that's basically the only reason why i go to them LOL!
i hope a *certain* book is keeping you well entertained ATM....i am having to re-read ATM. so frikkin' sad.
poor W and his injury! but hmmmm, it would appear that my girl must be somewhat clutsy (a bit like me) as she is constantly getting good cuts and scrapes all over...oh well, no ball games for either i guess LOL!
Oz: hope the folding was by some miracle done by the fairies while you were on BB...man i cant stand folding.
Andie: good luck on the photo shot mwah ha ha ha (that is my best version of an evil cyber laugh!). seriously, dont ppl realise how hard it is to get one, let alone 2 toddlers to work in unison???
JaZMum: sending big hugs sista....i find it pretty tough when they 'dont' need mummy anymore (i even found it sad when she started feeding herself and not wanting me so how sad is that?!!! LOL!).
PP: oh gosh. you are like totally more than halfway through the pg. awesome awesome awesome!!!!!
oops gotta go, laptop about to run out....
-
No Katie you've got it all wrong. Arte's the main reason everyone gets to have NZ holidays from now on! LOL I'd love to meet W & L too, they both sound like such gorgeous kids!
Clare, oh dear on having a clutsy there! My DD1 spent the better part of 2 years around this age wearing bruises (mostly from running into door frames, walls, furniture, etc). So far there hasn't been a single incident like that with Missy E - obviously either has much better coordination OR just isn't off with the fairies as much as DD1. LOL BTW what's happening, have you been to see the Tonsie Man yet?
Arte - bummer about the NT scan timing. Though - having done all the high drama last time, I'm still not convinced it's worth all the hoo haa. So maybe you're better off this way!
Trill - OMG what a Megaday. I needed a cup of tea just to read it! LOL Though
JaZaH - Miss E hardly says "mum" at all. One of the first words she learnt was "ta" (used in place of 'please') so when she wants something it's ta, ta TA TA TAAAAAAH (at about 300 decibels LOL).
Well I had a very lovely tradesman moment yesterday. This guy came out to sort out another phone extension line so we can have the modem up in my new den, and it turns out he was a Verry Noice off duty fireman (*drools*). And charming and chatty as well. (*fans herself*) It's getting hot in here, someone call the fire brigade!!!
-
OH MD, you're a norti girl ;) You'll lead us astray you will. But I tell ya, I could do with an ex firie at times too *sigh*
Arte, I only had to NT scan done with Erin, I never had it with the others. But I was glad I did with her because I'd had some heavy bleeding the week before and I had no idea if she was still with us or not. Poor W! Alister has constantly got scrapes and bumps on him LOL.
Katie, did you figure out what he did with the computer LOL.
-
hi everyone
Katie - what did he do to the computer? N is also obsessed with my laptop!
Arte - bummer on missing out on the scan, those little pics are what i LIVE for during the preg. but i think it was stressful for you last time so maybe a good thing - a blessing in disguise. how many weeks are you now?
MM - only a few days to go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clare - i think N is a klutz as well, makes sense as i am! how are you feeling and what is happening with the tonsis now?
Jaz - hiw amazing she puts herself to sleep. i must be doing something wrong, i am still rocking Mr spoilt! he isnt sleeping v well atm, so maybe i need to chg.
that reminds me girls i am thinking it may be time to switch from bag to sheets/blankets - any tips?
-
hi everyone,
pp- she's only done it the past 4 sleep times. I was so amazed! I gave her a cuddle, laid her in her cot and then lay on the floor beside her. The first time i stayed there until she went to sleep, and the next i told her i just needed to do something, and she went off the sleep! (of course, i wanted to wake her up and give her another cuddle though :( )
md - hope your appointment with your guru goes well today.
Han was awake at 5:30 this morning yelling "MUM!" over and over. I don't enjoy waking up that early, but it makes it easier to bare when i hear those words :)
-
oh md i just read your other thread, i'm so sorry
you must've thought i was so rude not to have mentioned it before
just wanted you to know i'm thinking of you xoxo
-

Hi Noni - hope they don't call you! I'd love to know what your new little bubba is going to be! How many sleeps until your big day?
-
Good luck Noni with your scan & finding out the sex of your bub on Sat!
Rainy - Loved your birth story, I read it yesterday but BB wouldnt let me post a reply, I was late for work due to reading it lol. So proud of you!!
Girls I've been having such a hard time getting onto BB lately, it keeps dying on me :(
The good news is, the spots on M have gone, we panicked too soon! Cant believe we are getting married on Sat, most of it is all done & paid for, I'm just doing final touches on everything now. The marquee is up in the backyard, looks very weddingy out there iykwim! Tomorrow I am having my eyelashes extended & tinted, nails done, eyebrows waxed, & hair coloured, pamper day woo hooooo! Starting to feel more at ease with leaving M, the in laws came up over the weekend to help out & they have reassured me & they have drained the spa all together, which is nice to know. So Sunday night we will be saying our goodbyes to her, as we leave at 5am on Mon morning & no doubt she will still be asleep.
So I dont know when I will be on again, I will try my best, if not I will 'talk' to you ladies when we get back from HM - may even get a chance to log on while on HM? Wish me luck, pray that I dont trip down the isle! Will be thinking of MD tomorrow.
-
hayley - enjoy your pamper session!! it sounds devine! I hope you have an absolutely magical day. Tell your mil to log on here so she can give us a run down of what M's is up to  How long are you away for on your HM? Hopefully you'll be too busy enjoying yourselves to log on.;)
-
hayley - i have tears in my eyes thinking of how special the next few days will be. sit back and relax and take it all in with your new dH!!!
enjoy your honeymoon too and dont you dare log in...
sounds like the ILs will be fine with M, and obviously all your worrying has been worth it as they have the message loud and clear! she will miss you i am sure but have a ball.
will be thinking of you on sat.
