J finally went to sleep but screamed several times during the nite so he ended up in bed with me bout 5am.
A was doing the yo-yo thing & ended up in bed with me bout 6am where we giggled & played "round and a round the garden" & then went thro the facial features
Am tired as today! Glad its a bludging day at home! We're on our 4th dvd ...

Good news today ladies. CT scans came back all clear. :D :D :D. Still have a way to go (bone marrow biopsy and possibly some precautionary chemo) but now I don't have to lie awake wondering if I have liver cancer. So it's a very relieved MD tonight. About to open a speed-chilled (using the ice and salt trick) bottle of white.
ETA - they gave me the pathology photo of my gallbladder - VERY SEXY...not!

Thanks ladies. I'm so relieved. I think I won't truly relax until the biopsy results come back all clear, kwim? Apparently the lymphoma was all the way thru the walls of the gallbladder - very rare. Trust me to have the freaky health condition. LOL. Mr Head Honcho Surgeon was actually quite chatty and friendly today (unlike last week - don't think he enjoyed being the bearer of bad news) and told me his 1st ex-wife (making me wonder how many ex-wives he has LOL) got a lump on her eyelid - turned out THAT was a lymphoma too. Treated it, all good, that was years ago.

When do you need to have the biopsy done MD?

Not sure, they faxed the referral thru but it needs to be triaged at the other end before I'm given an appt time...will know more then. I expect it will be a couple of days after my first appt with the oncology mob. Oncology. There's a word I don't like to be using!!
