Trill - That doesnt sound nice, is it still going? Maybe you should speak to your doctor? Rest up!!

Supa - I think they advise to take pre conception vitamins for at least a month before trying. I had only just started on the normal pregnancy ones. However with M, she was unplanned, so I didnt start taking any vitamins till 6/7 wks. Glad you & MD had a good time!

Clare - What is going on in your area!? Are you close to the city?

Off for tea at sizzlers, woooo hoo, such a bad housewife today, I dont know where the time went...not...I just want sizzler lmao!

    hi everyone
md - so wonderful that you and supa were able to catch up. I hope you don't feel too depressed - perhaps you should watch Borat again. What else makes you laugh alot? Not just a giggle, but a real snort laugh. ( i looooooove snort laughing - means something is really funny)
i'm sorry everyone, i'm so tired and i've forgotten everything i was going to write.
I've got the school Fair this weekend. Pray that we don't have rain until it's finished
Hannah has all 4 eye teeth trying to come through. She's ok until she can't have her own way, and then it's on for young and old. Instead of getting upset though, i just try and make her laugh. Usually works out ok.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend

I'm so happy that she had a little boy. I think some things are just meant to be kwim? But it sure will take a bit of getting used to having a pecker to deal with at nappy times ROFL.

AF is all but gone now, I'm not too worried at this point, but if it's that bad next month Iwill see my gyno again.

MD, glad you loved the woollie - funny you said that about the colours, I had a feeling that it was *right* and they are colours I wear too, so I was drawn to it. Glad to hear that you are going ok with it all thus far

Oz, great news about the scan, but bugger about not getting pics

I hope everyone else is having a great weekend

Trill that is mega-scary with the bleeding, I know all too well the feeling of being alone at home and wondering if things are about to go pear-shaped in a big way. Do you have a neighbour close enough to call if you need help in a hurry? Glad it's finished now, soooo hope it was just a once-off after the Mirena coming out...if it were me I'd be ringing the gyno for a chat just so you have instructions on what to do next time if it happens again!!

Clare - OMG about the gunshots. See I have a theory. It's because that victorian underworld crime show's been on the teev - it kind of legitimises that sort of behaviour in a whole lot of low-lives minds, kwim? Makes it sexy to be a low-life criminal. All the more reason for you to manifest your dream home NOW!!! xxx

Noni - WTG with all those changes, obviously you feel a lot more like you're in control now.

GREAT news about Mbear's little boy, so happy for her!!!

Jazah, great idea about watching Borat, either that or i'll find something else funny for the teev tonight. Don't feel depressed yet though (hurrah) BUT I did have a run in at the supermarket with a grandma who PUSHED IN in front of me. I really wanted to say HEY I JUST HAD CHEMO so that's why I went to get a trolley because I really CAN'T CARRY this small basket of groceries to my car I hope you sleep well tonight you selfish old B!tch. But instead I went to the next checkout and had the satisfaction of beating her thru (because I really didn't have many things) so I whizzed out past her with my trolley and said "Still made it out before you, GRANDMA" and she was like, "Awwwww SHADDDUP!" PMSL. So there you go, how chemotherapy turned an otherwise nice person into a shopping centre harpy in less than a week!!!

Noni well done on the bargin bassinet!!! Sounds like Miss A is doing great.

Trill glad AF has eased up, fingers crossed next month is back to normal.

MD pmsl at your shopping antics.

Supa I think they say start Elevit 3 months prior TTC.

Arte how did the GTT go?

PAP I cant believe your due soon. Have you found that second time round pg goes so quickly?

A huge big hello to everyone else, I cant keep up lol.

Got the house all tidy today so tomorrow we have nothing to do, think we might go for a picnic so L can run around. Hopefully it isn't to cold. L put himself to bed at 7pm tonight, I think he is coming down with a cold, DH had it last week and I am getting it today. I am off to make the most of him being in bed tho.

MD- u r so funny. That shopping epic made me laugh. Bet ya thru grandma! Lol. Reminds me of adam sandler film....

Does anyone know when they like 2 do c-sections? Is it 37 weeks? MD-what weeks were u at again when they did yours?

AFM-stayed up to read the 3rd twilight book. Finally finished, 1 book to go + I will have my life back + T will have a mum again.

grrrr. wrote a post and it got lost in the big bad world of the web. ppfft.

*of course it was the BEST post eva* LOL!

MD: Awesome work on the nanna antics. i would have loved to have seen you go one further and do a moonwalk past her...

Supa: taking them the cycle prior to TTC is cool enough me thinks. although if you are like me and take AGES to fall then i recommend going for a straight folate (only $3 a packet) and then once you get the BFP switch to elevit or the like...JMO of course!

Oz: you know what's the best about going out after you clean the house? coming home to it...ahhhhh.....

Sherie: i LOVE (read: lust) after the guy with black hair in silent witness. he floats my boat LOL!
as for the bleeding. scary scary. but honest, i reckon it's a clean out after the mirena. seems to be pretty consistent with the treatment me thinks. the body has to purge it one way or another and in the dealings with endo it is soo much better for it to be released. but yeah, check how next cycle pans, and if it is the same then i would get the bells and whistles out and drive to the GYN.

JaZ: we too are on the eye tooth train. they seem to come and then disappear again. not to mention that Leila then chomps down on her finger .

AFM: we are all good here. bummed that yet again we didnt get the house we had been chasing. advertised at 540+ sold for 655. morons. jealous. cranky. over it.
BUT the days are glorious and we went and saw the john bracks exhibition yesterday. leila loved the paintings of the schoolyard shots with the kids and we reckon that one of the paintings 'the car' has leila in a past life in it...no we are not kidding! people in the cafe even came up to us and commented on the likeness!

Well Clare, forget the house hun, just buy yourself some art instead! LOL I like your 'purge' theory of health.

Supa, I think by their calculations I was nearly 39 weeks but by mine we were actually less than 38...in the end it didn't matter, she was about to come out anyway (I was having measurable contractions while the nurse was filling out the paperwork before I went into surgery LOL). I understand you can negotiate...I could've asked to wait another week or two but then you risk going into labour and it turning into an emergency CS involving having to wait for anaesthetists & surgeons to arrive in the middle of the night.

Sherie - I love Brit telly too. But have been avoiding the murder-mystery ones of late - like to keep my viewing light at the moment. We recently watched the 1st series of Hamish Macbeth on DVD from the library - hilarious after about 2 episodes when I could finally understand the brogue! Last night I watched Filth - it was great. I loved her funky glasses & hats best of all. Her hubby is the guy who does Wallace in Wallace & Grommit.

Katie did you end up going out for a picnic?

Missy E went off to FDC a bit snotty today, she's had the lurgy in a big way - quite funny because she projectile sneezes and then has no idea what to do with the bucket of slime hanging off her face, just stands there freaking out. I keep reading the sheet they gave me at the hospital which says 'stay away from ppl with coughs and colds'. HAHAHA. So I'm playing paranoid mummy this week. Am trying to teach her to put her hand over her mouth when she coughs...anyone else's know how to do this yet? So far she just stares at me like I'm mad. LOL

New Missy E trick - says her own name....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except it sounds like Bissie, (cos we call her Lisbeth). But cute as cute, because of the listhp.

Ok, well that's if for me today, I'm off to plan a middle eastern party for DD1 - got to do the invitations. We're going to pull all the furniture out of the loungeroom and just have rugs and cushions & a low table - there will be belly dancing, and (pretend) henna tattooing, and turkish delight, and probably a screening of Cheetah girls which is bollywood not bellydancing but I dont' think anyone will mind!! Am I mad or what??! LOL

    hi girls!

hmmm, not sure if i should mention this to the mods or not...but my thread subs to this one isnt appearing in my user profile....here i was thinking no one had been posting...i'll keep an eye on it today and tomorrow and see how it pans...

SupaB: ha ha! i think we are pretty similar! DH gets up to DD in the morning too! they have a good hour or so together and then DD comes down the hall to 'wake' mumma up. usually i am already awake i love listening to their morning rituals.

MD: i had to have a giggle at your Art comment. cause you wouldnt beleive it but i have been trying the idea out on DH!!! so funny! unfortunately we have mutual friends that are art dealers and curators and have told us that it is unwise, as the scene here in australia is very inward and nepotistic...but hey. at least the walls would look good.
that said, we are still feeling the burn of not buying this jeffrey smart etching that we saw for sale a few years back for $3000. it now has a value near $15,000. i KNEW it was a good 'un, but DH baulked at the last minute (yes, yes, we were impoverished students about to fly out to fiji for 3 years, and yes, we had no home or belongings, and this was our entire life savings...mostly borrowed BUT!!! LOL!).

i LURVE the middle eastern theme! that is way cool!! are you raiding a belly dance shop for all things glitter and bells? or just the wardrobe...surely you have some gorgeous pieces??? need incense too and maybe steal the neighbours cat (as long as it is some sort of oriental...for added effect ya know...). oh and a camel.
oooh i have never seen filth...is it on normal telly?

AFM: all good here. not much to report. DH is totally depressed about the house issue. i think he wants to be able to provide this for his family and is feeling less than good about it. not sure how to placate him and make him know that we are totally happy with whatever happens. any ideas?

MD that party sounds like great fun! I watched Filth last night too and loved it! Especially when he pointed out the acronym for Clean Up National TV ROFL!!!! Gee it made me laugh. I love the heavy brogue in Hamish Macbeth. And I thought Wallace's voice sounded familiar too - Alun Armstrong is in New Tricks as well. You should watch the Monarch of the Glen reruns too on ABC on the Friday, it's very light viewing. As for the lurgie, just make sure you wash your hands really well and get some of the dettol hand cleaner stuff too.

Clare, that would be uncanny to see a pic like that. You should try to find out where he got the inspiration for it from. Bugger about the house, but don't be jealous of the repayments on it. It's madness that some people just lose all rational thought at auctions.

I guess you aren't picnicing today Oz?

Not much happening here, miserable weather so can't hang out the washing I did yesterday. Alister is getting his last eye tooth and gee it's giving him trouble. The other three were fine but this one is a bugger for him. Usually tantrums and stuff too. He's doing some really funny and quirky stuff too atm.

    Howdy ladies,

MD that is an awesome party theme. How cute at E saying her name.

Clare bummer about the house, your perfect home will come your way i am sure.

Its very quiet in here today.

AFM no picnic yesterday, was a nice day but I have a cold (thanks heaps DH). We went and had a look at the shops then did loads of nothing. Logan threw the biggest tantrum yesterday morning (about nothing) and all I could do was laugh, it was sort of cute. Mind you if it had of been in public I am betting it wouldnt have been cute lol. I am not sure if he is frustrated at not being able to communicate or coming down with a cold but he has been pretty cranky the last few days. Better run and make some lunch.

Trill - already onto the hand washing (slightly OCD way). Got Aquium pumps dotted all around the house too. Just got to be careful because my cuticles have suddenly gone to sh*te (prolly from the chemo) so can't let the hands get too dry either. We did look at New Tricks the other week (the one with the dead dressed up pig in the circus caravan)! I think I could get DH onto it as well.

Clare, Filth was a once-off movie last night on ABC - it was about this chick called Mary something who basically held the BBC to ransom during the 60/70s when they were trying to introduce more liberal storylines onto the teev. She was a one-woman morality campaigner of the most indignant variety.

We already have plenty of jingly sparklies at home in the bellydancing cupboard. DD1's got a few costumes too. The guests can just accessorise with sparkly scarves, etc. We already have a non-oriental cat who I'm sure will make an appearance (as she does for all girly gatherings) but my loungeroom's a tad small for a camel. LOL

Clare-yup aren't we lucky with DH's help. I couldn't survive. My DH sounds like your too re: the house + wanting to provide. Mine went into depression for the few months we didn't have a house. Needless to say he is relaxing again coz the fire wood is down to 2 logs!!! Agghhhh.

Hello to everyone else. Sorry I am such a bad bb friend. Its just I forget what to say + then have to scroll on my blackberry all the way down... No excuses I know...
