Well we're back. Had a wonderful holiday. I think i need to visit third world contries more often just to put my life into perspective. At least we had a house that could be burnt!
The resorts were great, food was fantastic, the islands were beautiful, weather was amazing! But the highlight was the fijian people. We made friends with a family down on the coral coast. We we're invited to have dinner at their house. We bought the food and they cooked it in the traditional Fijian way. The family had 6 girls, plus a neice living in a two bedroom 'shack'. No more than 2c to rub together. They were so, so lovely and interesting. They loved the girls and argued over who was holding the baby! We then were invited to a wedding that was being held in the village. It was amazing. We had a great time. Lu was a little overwhelmed by all the attention and was a bit scared of the Fijian ladies!

Anyway, it's lovely to be home.

PAP- So pleased to hear your second little man arrived safely. Congratulations.

MD- Can you ask your natropath about a natural alternative to sleeping pills? It's so hard to switch off when you have alot going on. But sleep is essential to all that great healing you are doing. Nice work on the LFT's too. What a good healer you are.

Rainy- We all got snotty yesterday too. At least it happened when we got home not on holidays!

Trill- No good about the kidney pain. Does that happen often? We're having food ish-ews here too. Drives me up the wall. hoping it is a passing phase.

Jaz- Have fun at French and Saunders, hope the pelvic floor are up to scratch!

G-rod................. just like saying that really!

Noni- how's your dp today? hope you got some ab's and he is on the mend.

ohhh pap, i know exactly what you're going through now- so much love for your little man, so exhausted, so much nipple pain!! just walk around with no top on for a while and let the air get to it. i found when things were really bad i would pop a nipple shield on here and there just to help it heal.

i'm dying to know about your little man's hair!!!!....................

hi ange, glad to hear you had such a great time. have you got a tan?
    got your parcel thank you

Oh I miss that perfect little hairy bum crack!!! Missy E's stayed hairy for ages, too .

PP sounds like you're smack in the middle of early days highs and lows! When's little Mr having his ceremony?

Rainy - aww sorry to hear the snots have hit your house. Missy E's a bit out of whack - think she's working on some teeth but haven't been able to check - lots of whiney clinging and not eating happening.

Ange - your holiday sounds amazing!! Trust you to be the intrepid traveller that gets invited along for a slice of 'real' Fiji! I bet the wedding was amazing...you can't buy an experience like that! Yep the sleeping thing is on my list for when I see the naturopath next - I'm sure she'll have some vile herbal thing for it. So far have managed to avoid taking the pills - but have them in the cupboard for dire emergencies.

Trill what's the connection btwn the cold and the kidneys? Sounds v unpleasant, try to rest extra if you can and most definitely see a dr if you take a turn for the worse. I was wondering about you today too, did you end up having another OTT bleed or has all of that settled down now? I'm having the opposite issue at the moment - waiting to find out if I'm going to drop AF or whether the chemo has done its nasty work in that dept. *sigh*

JaZaH - Grandpa George's hip pain was *severe* and severely limiting his mobility. He was so brave to choose the surgery! Continues to recover well.

    Clare, how's it going ??

Well I must admit I'm starting to look forward to the influx of toys that's going to happen in Sept...Missy E is interested in more and more things - time for proper toddler toys like kitchen and dolly bed and hobby horses and stuff! Haven't looked at the Target catalogue yet. Might have a look now...

He was 3.12 kg - so a bit smaller than Noah.. to me he looks SO tiny and even 0000s in most brands are quite roomy on him. and they told me he was going to be bigger...LOL! he lost about 5% weight in hospital but i think with all the feeding he is prob back to birth weight now. he is hairy all over - esp his back and the tops of his arms... little gorilla! it's pretty cute! he looks a little like N did in terms of colouring and the hair etc but i am not sure about overall and the features - i mean you can def tell they are brothers when you compare and there are sometimes he just looks exactly like N did but he also looks diff iykwim. i think my DH put some pics on his f/book so i will see if i can put them on our page.
we are having the circumcision and naming next sunday - later than we usually would and what you are meant to but it is for logistics as the dr who does it all for us is away and i dont want to use someone i dont know. so sunday it is...
name hint - starts with J (so prob a rainy reject!!)
MD - are you having sleep probs (i assume you not missy E). i agree N is also into proper toddler toys now, but i feel like the house is over-run right now.. esp as he got a massive stash from all the gparents last week... so i need to do a good clean out and pack away and then get him some new ones. the hit at the moment is the pink aldi microwave!
are a few of you having food issues? i think N may be working on some molars too.. he is eating ok but has had a few really drooly days.. of course cant get in there to have a look

lol Rainy! PM me what you think - will be hilarious if you guessed it! Noah was 3.28 so not a huge difference. but little J sure does look TINY and now N looks HUMUNGOUS! when i giot home from hosp and bathed N for the 1st time since i went in i could not believe how big he is. it is kinda sad to me, as now he doesnt seem like a baby at all - i think of him as a proper boy now.
Ange - your holiday sounds AMAZING!

Pregpan - having problems sleeping when I'm taking the steroids - but it's extreme. The other night I was still awake and chirpy at 4.30am (!) Well I'm very excited now because I too love J names...it'll be much nicer having ceremony on a Sunday than a week day too besides the other logistics.

Ange - yeah I guessed there might be a chattiness factor to your personality. I'm sure we'll get on fine when we do finally meet.

MD- What gave it away??? i've met alot of people from BB who talk more on line than irl....... unfortunately i'm not one of them. For reasons unbeknown to me, i find it difficult to get my point of view across sometimes when typing. I dont seem to have that prob verbally.

pap- yes i know what you mean about N seeming like a boy now, totally the same here and i know what you mean about them making you think J would be bigger than N. don't even get me started on what i went through with that! enough to scare me into asking for a c/s...i'm soooo glad now i didn't have one!

md- soooooo does that mean you're planning another melb trip to meet up with ange and i? LOL

well Disney on Ice was awesome the boys loved it and was yelling out the Mickey Mouse.... Remember Me mickey. lol. I left Livi with my Mum as she has a cold and it was way to cold for her to be out at night. Although I dont think she would have sat still for 2 hours....
