yeah jimmy's a cat-napper all day long and has to be fed/rocked to sleep- he's never self-settled,but i'mso happy with his night sleeping. he even sleeps in the never-used-by-lewis cot! he seems to like it in there, and then i pull him into bed with me sometime in the early morning.
the irony is that now that jimmy is sleeping well, lewis is sick and waking constantly. i can't win!
taking lewis to dr tomorrow morning to get him checked over. just to be sure.

G, I hope that L is on the mend again soon. I know its hard when they aren't really sick-sick, but they aren't 100% themselves either. I'm sure it's nothing serious.

Renee I saw those pics! poor little fella. Has he got some redipred for the croup? I can't believe the Dr didn't realise that's what it was - and abs wouldn't work anyway because croup is viral. At least you do know 100% that he's allergic to penicillin.

Noni, you know you could still feed him part time and that way you can take time to come to terms with it not working out again this time kwim? I hope you didn't go cold turkey though as you would have to be careful of mastitis.

Hey Jaz! I usually do the quick run-around clean up before the kids come home too LOL.

Ange, it would be pretty hard down your way to find the Perfect Job for him because there aren't too many large broadacre farms down there anymore without being miles from anywhere.

Not much happening here. Alister has been eating really well the past 2 days - which is a bit of a novelty I think he's put the weight back on that he lost too while sick because his pants are short again now hehe.

Renee!!!!! YAY so glad to hear from you - I miss you! sounds like you have had a bit of a rough trot with poor R and a rash - how scary. hope he is doing a bit better now.
Ange - holbrook certainly does have a good bakery. and the submarine. aside from that also police who LOVE to book speeding cars on the highway... I'd stick to the yarra valley or beach locations LOL (or PNG - i am sure hope should not be lost).
G - poor L, i hope he is doing better butgood to see the dr anyway i guess just to be sure. ikwym about the mastitis, i felt AWFUL yest and esplastnight i wasshakingall night. i am a bit better today but still shakey and fel pretty awful. but the anti bis have def kicked in,theultrasound helped so i am sure i will be back to normal soon.I think catnaps in the day and a long night sleep id the best - you can do what you want in the daytime and get some sleep at night.
Trill - yay for A's eating! so funny you can see the weight gain in his pants.
Noni - you sound so much better, that's great! you will have a ball with your friend. is she staying with you? Ngenerally sleeps a bit beter now J is here -iwonder if it is bc they know they dont have the full run of the house anymore?

Ginger, yay for J's sleeping! I am really excited for you and I hope he keeps it up. We seem to be having a bit of a victory here too - W slept through from 8pm-6am last night. That is twice in the past week he has slept all night and in between there were only 1-2 easy to settle wake-ups so I am (desperately) hoping we have turned a massive corner. W only wanted to call the baby Ginger because DH let him have a sip of ginger beer and he thought it was the best thing ever lol. At least Ginger was a step up from Pokemon

After insulting my housekeeping the other day W got some points back - he noticed my new granny knickers and told me they were "pretty flash" lol. They really really aren't, but it was nice of him to say.

Ange, If you came to Holbrook I could come and visit - it's the other side of Wagga, but certainly do-able as a day trip visit. And yep, the cops are nasty around those parts LOL.

i'm just hanging for the night they both sleep through. no doubt i'll lay there with my eyes wide open staring at the ceiling LOL
i seriously love the name ginger for a little girl, i think it's sooo pretty- like olive.

pap- glad the ABs are working. don't you think it's weird we all got mast the 2nd time bfing? did you hav it at all last time? i didn't

my friend is about to come around with all my new photos of the boys. can't wait to see them all.

yep G i was thinking the same thing - i never had an issue with N. i wonder if it is bc we have less time/concentration on feeding so dont drain as well, feed with one hand (ie poor attachment) etc?

pap- I'm definitely no supermum!! (undies over the lycra tights would definitely not suit me anyway lol) I hope you're feeling better soon - mummies just haven't got time to be sick!

arte - you must laugh all day with the things W says. When I first bought my gutsucking undies - Zoe said to me - "Mum! You're bottom is soooo tiny!". (she got extra ice-cream that night )

trill - that's great that A is doing well now.

G - Self settling can come later - especially if you're getting a good nights sleep (well at least hopefully L will be all better soon, and then you can get a good nights sleep)
