Katie - how lucky are you having 7 hours sleep. Well done Logan!!
Arte - I was gorging myself on chocolate, and poor Hannah was in terrible pain. I spoke to my clinic nurse, and she said chocolate is a real no no. She also told me to cut down on my sugar intake, because babies have trouble digesting it in the first few weeks. another thing she told me to watch was how much caffeine i was drinking and fresh orange juice isn't good either. Diet soft drinks aren't great either. Hopefully this means i'm going to lose weight faster!!!!!!! I'm also using the Brauer Colic medicine - 1ml before each feed. This seems to be helping her get her wind up straight after a feed.
I had a relatively good nights sleep. My eldest dd, Jessica, has a really bad cough and was having trouble breathing. I was kind of torn, because i wanted to lay with her, but didn't want Hannah to catch anything nasty. I slept in the bed in the nursery with Hannah on my chest - for 4hours!!!!!!! Dh slept with Jess.
Hope everyone has a great day. I have to do the grocery shopping today. I haven't done it in almost 3 weeks - as dh has been getting everything we need.
Well lucky me got another 6.5 hours last night. My fingers and toes are crossed that this lasts. I have just got home from seeing the community nurse. Logan has put on 250g in 10 days and grown 1cm which she said is fantastic. I am so glad as it seems I am doing everything right. She made me feel really good about everything I am doing.
Jazmum I hope your eldest gets better soon, nothing worse then a sick child and a newborn I imagine. I am trying to be careful with what I eat and drink and not doing to badly so far.
Art I am the same as you with regards to dragging myself out of bed but melting as soon as I pick him up. I love when he snuggles in close to me, no better feeling in the world.
