Aussie - I am with you on breastfeeding, it's been a real struggle for me also. I spent a good part of last week in tears about it and hired a private lactation consultant. I went onmottilium but since came off as it gave me heart palpitations. I really thought I would BF willow over a year but due to supply issues I will be lucky to get to 3 months. It's very hard emotionally as it's supposed to be the natural thing, but I have had a readjustment this week. What will be will be and being miserable about my lack of supply was ruining my experience and negating any benefit of breast feeding. I guess my advice to you is try not to worry about it, I am doing 50/50 at the moment and I know Tanya is doing the same. BF isn't easy and it's not always the natural thing we think it's going to be. I do hope though yr milk comes in and you can enjoy a long BF career![]()
Well done on 10 hours of drug free birthing Hun. I am so glad you loved your birthing experience. Calm birth was the best thing I did in my preggy and I absolutely loved birthing Willow too. I am so happy DP is so supportive. Has Cade made a visit to the shop yet??
One more thing... If you get really stuck on BF I found the private LC to be amazing, but also try not to beat yourself up over it like I did. It's hard and your definitely not alone.
