ohhh gotta get me one of those!!!!!
ohhh gotta get me one of those!!!!!
I highly recommend it Harri
I just realised Zoe is about a week ahead of Georgia I think is that right Beatrix? You guys are at 5 weeks we're at 4. So maybe the screaming isn't a WWI have forgotten how it all works maybe it can be give or take a week. I just would rather think this is a WW than the beginning of months of screaming every night. *Off to get the book*
Just saw your post MrsP does the app have all the same info as the book? Sounds good if it does. You can get emails too just before each leap but they don't give you as much info. I think they leave you hanging a bit, so you'll buy the book too, to get more details
I'm tight tooI got my book second hand off ebay for about $10 postage included

Im not sure whats in the book compared to the app. I just use the app.
1st leap starts at 4 1/2 weeks and goes for 7 days. (leaps go from due date not DOB too)
Zoe is 5 weeks old on sunday
Georgia was born on her due dateZoe was too, or a few days before (terrible memory
) ...no, after lol I really can't remember

I haven't read the book but the app has quite a lot of info. I never buy apps but am happy I bought this one!
Although Dylan is in between leap 2 and 3 but his sleeping at night has gone super crap the last three days - so if that's not a WW then I don't know what's going on argh!
Well.. I don't know what today is... but OMG.... Eleni has maybe slept all of 1hr today!!!............very not like her, she's an eat and sleep baby!!
she has been constantly wanting to feed!...She wont take a dummy! and now she's crying in her bed, which I'm pretty sure is just over tiredness!! BUT if she falls asleep feeding and I put her down she wakes within 15min! Grrr.....
Any suggestions other than holding her in my arms all day, which isn't very practical!!
No sorryDS3 and now Georgia have both been pretty much like that the whole time. Do you have a sling so you can wear her? We have a swing that works sometimes. Actually she could be having a growth spurt too I think there's one at four weeks so that could explain it too. She'll be feeding more and wanting to be with you to make more milk. Hopefully it won't last too long.
We just had a nightmare trip out to the shops. DS3 whinged cried and screamed the whole time because nothing was right and he couldn't do whatever he wanted and Georgia was ok on the way there but woke up just as we were leaving Aldi and screamed the whole way home. Not fun at all.
Well I did the mid night drive last night because Zoe while she wasn't screaming just would not settle. 5 min in the car and she was out an slept for 3 hrs.
Can you take her for a drive harri?
Hi Everyone! Sorry I'm so slow to get here. I've had troubles logging in so I'm glad that's all sorted now.
I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts but hope to catch up soon.
Logan is doing well. Check up on Monday. Breastfeeding has been a challenge but we are getting there slowly.
Happy Mother's Day! Aren't we lucky to have our beautiful babies to help us celebrate?? Have a lovely day.
Happy Mothers Day all![]()
Mother's Day was nice here. Minus the midnight 2hr wake and sleep fight.
We had a early morning to so only got three hrs sleep. My eldest DD had football in the morning. Then visit to my mums and then lunch with DH family.
I got the usual breaky in bed, new pj's, dressing gown, slippers and a gorgeous sterling silver pendant with all my girls names on it.
Hope everyone else had a lovely day
Hi ladies...
Happy Mother's Day for yesterday!!....
I think Eleni's Saturday no sleep fest must have been a growth spurt because Saturday night she was good and has been back to normal up until now...Yeah I used to do the car thing with DD1.
Beatrix- ohh your mother's day sounds lovely!.. I had breakie made and then we went down to my mum's for lunch! was nice!
Willow- Eleni will lose it when she's hungry.... she goes from being fine to being super hungry and can't wait withing a few seconds!!!I have fed her in the car a few times already! HAHA
Harri Georgia is the same, she does not like to wait, she thinks I should just have my boobs out permanently ready to go to save any hold ups, DS3 was the same.
Frantic feeders is what i call Zoe!!
ATM not coping too well, Zoe is extremely demanding and fighting sleep like crazy. Her tummy rumbles so much that I know she is having wind issues or something I am eating is upsetting her but diet wise nothing has changed. Im getting very frustrated and upset and having to leave the room from her. Feeding wont settle her either and I know shes not hungry cause she is feeding well and starts to only fuss at the breast when she is full. She wont comfort suck, nor take a dummy. I havent had more then 4hrs sleep for the last 3-4 nights... this cant possible be ww? it seems way to extreme for that.
Yesterday I realise yes that even though she is bf baby and they can go days without pooing she had not been for 2 days and with the tummy noises.. so we decided last night after 3hrs of crying and fussing to stimulate her bum the way the dr told us to try when she went 6 days at birth and OMG the sheer amount of poop that was in her belly and the gas she let out. It wasnt hard poop very very soft bf runny poo but she just didnt seem to be able to start the process. Hoping that now she should be ok but if not will have to speak to the GP tuesday next week when she has her 6 week check.
Last night I was seriously ready to buy some formula, give her to DH and go far far away.
She did sleep better last night but still fighting sleep after her midnight feed and took a hr after that to go to sleep. Not easy when your eyes are hanging out of you head. You end up in tears.
We had the mchn round yesterday and she is growing and gaining well. She is now 4.85kg, 53cm long and 37cm head. (birth was 3.65kg, 51cm and 35cm head) she is gaining on average 312grams a week.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their newborns and not struggling like me
Beatrix - You are doing well to maintain your sanity. I'm useless with no sleep. Hopefully Zoe getting rid of all that poo will help. It must feel better for her. Can you express and give your DH a night turn so you can get some decent rest?
