Beany, thanks for the compliments on my colorful house DH and I always liked "pop" design so we have a very white interior with bright color for everything else - I really believe that the bright colors and different textures are stimulating for Eva as well and we try to get as much rounded, bubble type furniture as possible so that she does not get hurt on it We live in a very grey climate so try to add some brightness somehow! The teeth are the worst...I noticed that Eva gets sick bad every time she is teething. I think it really wears them down. You guys are also going into cooler weather, so that is part of it too...I am looking forward to warm ! It is starting here and I have had my windows all wide oipen and have been eating on the ils terrace often in the past few weeks! So exciting!

ALison, I meant to ask you how they had two canopies exhibited??? Here they only have one shown - I am just curious as to how they presented that option. I am only putting up one leaf from the head of the bead, but interested in hearing how they did two...As for the 3kg I think that is not important - I got preg with #2 about 15kg over what I would like to be! After this birth I am going on a major major fitness regime. I need to take my body back...we will discuss if we want a third a year after #2 is born but it might just be two so I plan on getting back in shape and staying there...But with this preg I ahve only gained 6/7 kilos so far, so def less than with Eva (where I gained 14 total) - I still have about two months to go so let's see where that ends...Don't worry about those 3 kg - it is really not a lot. I can't wait until you announce your second

Tilda - the nesting is crazy isn't it? I just want to organize and organize and fold and refold clothes and get Eva's stuff into the big room and fold all the baby stuff perfectly! lolol I am already a nutty organizer person, so this is one step higher - I am putting DH to serious work too! He is assembling bringing stuff down to the garage, bringing stuff up from the garage, just so I can get everything the way I want! I totally agree with your opinion on the career and baby thing....it has become an added pressure on modern women to do that as well...and in the end, I don't think anyone will ever regret doing what makes them happy Have you guys started deciding on names? What are you planning on doing with the sleeping situation? Are you moving matilda or setting up a nursery or cot in your room or in another room?

As for the big bed, DH still has to finish assembling all of the closets but Eva loves that bed - she goes in there to hang out and look at books while DH works, so as soon as it is cleaned up in there (no tools, or screws lying around) I will try to put her in for a nap or a sleep...at least to start playing - I am going to install a big wall mounted mirror with a dress up area, a little desk/toy chest from Ikea (and maybe put her table and chairs in there...)...Once she starts going in there on her own often, I'll tryt o start putting her to bed. I showed her how to get on and off the bed yesterday and she did it like 100 times so I know she is comfortable doing that on her own...I will let her lead and see how fast the transition is based on her.

I'll tryt o post pics soon too so that anyone who wants to see can...I looked at tons of rooms online and in architecture books to get ideas - ikea's website has really cool suggestions too in the children's furniture suggestion sections. You see different room setups so I did find a few cool ideas in there too.

Oh and I am not sure if I mentioned itbut we booked in for our second photo shoot - same photographer who did my preg photos with Eva which I really loved - she will come in and do family and mother/father and Eva shots - and we will choose a print to give to our second daughter as a gift, just like we did for Eva - I feel a lot less sexy and pretty with this pregnancy, but I want to do the same for all of my children, so will try to choose the best possible wardrobe and makeup I can, and pray that photoshop fixes the rest

Ok, going to fold and cook something, then when Eva gets up from her nap, walk in the forest with the dogs then back to the big girl room! I want that room done by tomorrow!

    xoxo
