Babies Born ~ January 2012 #1

Well, H growing like a weed. I've got her in a 0000 suit tonight and the legs are really too short. I've packed away anything smaller (DD1 was in 00000 for at least a month and I still had those). She's getting really long. I might ask to weigh and measure her when I go to my HB get together next week. I'm kinda in shock that it looks like she's going to be a decent sized bubba after such a skinny minny first time around!

My sister is coming down on Thurs so I might pass on the 0000 stuff as well as my maternity clothes. Can't see us using them again! We aren't planning any more bubbas. Is anyone else (if you don't mind me asking)? I'd love to win lotto, never work again and have a couple more, but that really is the only scenario I can see leading to more in our family!

And I know I'm biased, but H is a pretty baby. All peaches and cream complexion and big blue eyes. I took her to church yesterday and she got a suitable amount of admiration for this proud Mumma. She still reminds me a lot of her big sister (at a slightly older age). I can't wait to see her first smile!

I also think she's got an old soul (even DP, who doesn't really believe in it, keeps saying it). She's very contemplative, will lie awake watching us for ages, with those deep eyes. I've always felt she's been here before and she really wanted to come back.

Jellyfish - what a great run your DD1 has had bfing! My DD1 stopped just shy of her fourth bday, with a little encouragement (she stopped for a week and I dissuaded her from trying again when she asked, but she didn't mind). I think letting your child self wean is a very rare and wonderful gift in our society.
