Hi everyone, just a quick one from me before I get motivated & do some work
Inertia, good to hear from you, I was wondering how you were Your Phoebe is gorgeous! loved checking out the photos on FB..I think your privacy settings might be a bit high though to add you? There is a group on there that MissE started BB bellybuddies due July 1st to 15th, a few of us are there :-)
- speaking of which , Jetta I found you on there Glad to hear Sam is going well. We stopped wrapping a couple of weeks ago, around when she started rolling, I am glad we did as she has decided she wants to tummy sleep. The first few days she was startling a bit but she goes fine without it now - it was a great sleep cue in the early days but I think she just recognises bedtime now IYKWIM?
Leckert yay for rolling! it is hard when you are working, I am always worried I might miss something, only back in the office 4 hours atm but it will be 2 days next year... what a clever girl to repeat on demand when you got home!
Mamapan, sleep is ok here but she is having shorter day sleeps...not quite 4 months yet though so we will see. Could it be a wonder week for J? I can't remember when they are due... AR had one at around 3 months, very unsettled at night for 3 or 4 nights & then fine again. Her feeds at night are a bit more frequent, 3-4 hours but she settles well after. Sh eis becoming quite chatty too so cute isn't it!
Heather - the dummy thing - I have no idea sorry, my first two had dummies until they were about 2.5, DS2 had none at all but he had my boob - TBH I'd prefer the dummy, lol. If it's not really a problem for you I wouldn't worry too much, but if you really want him off it maybe try some other settling techniques, patting etc?
WRT teeth, I wanted to add too - when DD1 was about 9 or 10 we were convinced she was going to need braces , her teeth were horribly crowded & crooked, but her jaw grew to accomodate them & it's all good now. So don't worry too much if it's a bit crowded when he's young
Storm re panadol for vax - I always did it with my younger ones but I have heard these days you don't need to. With the younger kids it was the GP who advised me to do it - but they are always studying something & advice always changes. I think I gave it to her last time, the problem is you can never tell really whether it helps or not... I wouldn't think it could hurt just for vax? Then again if you want to wait & see how she is, she might not need it?... good luck...it's just as bad for us I'm sure.
AFm little miss has a cold her big brother gave it to her, so frustrating I am always telling him not to kiss her , not to get too close to her face etc but he never listens until he IS sick & of course by then it's too late, all the germs have been passed already.
Anyway it's nothing too bad, just a snuffly nose, hopefully it will be over soon.
I have my younger sister coming to stay for a couple of days next week with her LO who is 5 weeks old, it will be nice for her to get out & lovely for us to spend some time with the babies together!
I'm freaking out at how close Christmas is, I haven't done anything yet....
