Its a hard one with the dummy. We use it occasionally, sometimes in the afternoon when Sam is a lot harder to settle and I always have one in the pram or when I am out in case of an outburst!! I have a friend who just refused to use one and I don't know how she coped!! There are certainly days when it really just settles them and comforts them and you have had enough of crying and screaming!

Tinsel - it is hard with the heat, Sam's room gets sun all day long and we had to install air con becuase the room is already hitting temps around 27 degrees. I don't think he likes the heat at all and is certainly harder to settle when it is hot. The problem with the air con, is he has dry patches on his face and the air con is not helping. I can't get rid of them even though I am putting sorbolene cream on several times a day, but at least his room is a comfortable temperature - wait til we get the bill!!

Heva - sounds like Isaac is coming along great guns! Amazing that he is starting to pick up on words. Sam has a lot to say and copy him sometimes and then have conversations other times, it will be so great when he starts communicating with words.

Miss excited - that is what I was worrie about, the rolling thing. Sam isn't rolling all the time yet but getting there and I thought if he rolls over when wrapped he won't have his arms to help lift his head up. He is self settling for his morning sleep at the moment and like you he is sleeping from 10 til 6am and I SOOOO don't want to disturb that!! The morning sleep I get so much done but I do have to do it some time so perhaps if he is self settling that sleep i could try one arm or something. It is hard when you are just starting to feel like you are getting a rythem with them and now you have to throw something in the mix that might change everything! I hope both you and Ash are feeling better after the needles. We have to have ours next week and I guess now that they are far more aware it is going to be tough. Don't worry I will be making hubby hold Sam too!!
Jasp - hope the cold gets better soon!

Off to take the second child( the dog) to the vet to get his cast changed again. Had my personal training session yesterday and got absolutely flogged so I am very tired today!!
