Milly - my labour is down as 'precipitate ' as well, so after googling I felt a bit more validated too. Also as for having the older child, our ds was handling it not too bad, not paying too much attention but giving him a kiss or saying hi if we drew his attention him. Nights were tough as ds2 was usually crying at ds1's bedtime and ds1 would think we weren't looking after him or something so the first few nights he would come in our room for the 10-11 pm feed, to see we were looking after him, but then be ok to go back to his bed and he would then sleep. But with all the other disturbances around at the moment his gone back a little. Except today he did help me change ds2 nappy, handing me wipes etc and then afterwards he lied down and talked to his brother for a minute without prompting, its actually the first time he has done anything like that, it was so cute.

Afm - had a big cry to myself this morning, ds2 woke up screaming, and I couldn't settle him, and the position he got comfy in, he passed out straight away, and it was the most weirdest position ever, like a position a newborn shouldn't be comfortable in. So I just sat there in my bed holding him so he was comfy balling my eyes out. My poor bubba is in pain, and it's causing these things, and I can't do anything, it's not fair on the little guy. But anyway got my cry out so now it's onto google to find out if there is anything we can be trying before we resort to the chiro.
