Sammie - sun in Melbourne today would be nice!!! Hope those QLDers send some down for us!!
Jaki - which MCNs have you had the poo leaks with? I was loving the Itti Bitti D'lish because it is so trim and contains wee but this is the first poo we've had in it. I was thinking of buying a few more of that type but now I'm not so sure.
Oh and Jak and Kylz.. Hate is a strong word so probably should of rephrased that.. Strongly dislike!!
It is way too wide for my liking. Always having to back up or go around.. Or leave pram so I can have a look at something.. The bottom getting bags in and out sucks when you have a babe in your arms. I thought it could hold so much more! It is very deceiving. Hate that it does not lie flat for when K is having a sleep.. Oh and it is a pain in the ass as I would prefer light. I do not shop much at all but when I do would like to get in and out oh and the last one, it has ****ty shock. When I walk outdoors *sidewalk ect... it is crappy.
It just does not suit my lifestyle or what I want in a stroller but must say it served its purpose with the capsule and taking it out at bbqs ect...That was worth every iota! So probably sell it in a few months. I never did plan to have it longer then a year anyways. : )
Tams get a baby jogger city select it is awesome! Super lightweight, fits through any checkout and huuuge basket room. Bit annoying when the toddler seat is on there but that wouldn't bother you lol.
Sarah good luck to your ds today! Enjoy your day with just the girls
Lisa my dd has had a few huge poosplosions and the stains have sunned out. Funnily enough only in sposies, never had one in cloth!
Yep he poops out of the d'lish, his small is on the last snaps. He has pooped out of the medium too but tbh I think it's more the fact that it's breastmilk poop. We also have issues with a monk n bear and a petite peony.
I just love bonnibuns, can't get enough of them! I have about 10!
Fair enough tams... I totally get all that but it works for us so yay! Or hubby would kill me lol. I can do my whole grocery shop in the basket! Lol.
It is very wide but where I live thats a bonus cause it's every A*hole for themselves since the floods so the strider barging power comes in handy!!! Getting my payback for all the times I was trolly barged when I was preggo!
Ellasmummy: So many people have mentioned that one. Going to have a look at that one soon.
Jak: Forgot the best part!! The shoving people aside. I can not believe how rude some people are and the strider is awesome for getting people to move!
I love huggies they are fab i did the cloth with my 1st son lasted 3 months and couldnt stand his skin always felt damp when i took the nappy off and he got rashes so just went to huggies and with me going back to work i dont have time to wash cloth with 3 teenagers a hubby and all the washing and housework i already do it is never ending and to be honest (dont want to affend cloth nappy mums) i hate the big bum look on babies i dont know why i just do.
I have seen the new cloth nappies and some of them are cute just not for me.
The last few nights ella has gone to bed at 7 and slept to 3am has a feed and back to sleep until 7am i think we finally have a night routine that suits us.
Wrote this three times!! Ferrals, Yaaa to a routine your happy with. : )
K is in cloth only because I do want to pay 4x what I know those diapers are worth.
I hate being ripped off, plus I am home. I still have sposies from the US left still... so use them every now and then..
Speaking of which I need to do a shop in the US soon. I need a highchair and some toys. I think I have spent about $80 all up since K has been born. So doing quite well. Oh... besides cloth, spent $300 on that. But that should be it until he moves into a large.
Kitty: Guess what, just got my refund from b and g. : )
tams: it only took forever to get it. They have the worst customer service there.
ferrals: im not too keen on the big butt cloth nappy for boys either but it makes him very sturdy to hang onto lol Thats a great routine, I wish C would go to bed earlier, his usual sleep time is around 10pm, and he sleeps till either 5am or 6 am but its the staying up with him till 10pm thats the killer. Last night though he was in bed at 7.30pm and he woke up this morning at 4am, I was pretty happy with that.
I'm mostly using cloth to try and save money on disposable nappies, thats why I use cloth during the day and disposable at night, only use 2-3 disposables at night so the packs last for a while. sorry no more persies my house is like a freeaking freezer I have to go warm up in bed with Chase.
I get my huggies wholesale from a friend who works in a chemist i get a 48pkt of infant for $13 where they are usually $19-$22 and if i see the big boxes go on sale like the newborn's did when i was pregnant they are normally $35-$38 i got 3 boxes at $29 dollars each so i dont pay full price and i stick to huggies cause they seem to last longer Ella gets changed at 6pm with her bath and then when she wakes at 3am so only once a night.
I tried the other brands with my boys but was never happy with them they leaked or bunched up in the crutch area.
Kitty-7:30 to 4am is great i like my evening baby free to spend time with hubby and have some loving before he goes to bed cause he has to get up at 6am for work so having Ella in bed then is starting on a routine that most toddlers have i am just hoping she will drop the 3am feed before i start back at work on the 1st of August but at the moment i actually enjoy the 3am feeding i never had it with my boys so i love the mummy daughter snuggles.
I love my new house we have natural gas so the house is toasty warm.
I have also discovered a thing Ella loves and helps her put her self off to sleep she loves her muslin wrap as a cuddle blanky when she is tired we put it beside her face/cheek and she grabs it and snuggles into it then strarts to close her eyes so the last few days i have put her to bed with it between her hands and next to her face and she does the same thing grabs it and snuggles into it then goes to sleep it is so cute my boys loved their pillows and carried them everywhere i think Ella will have a comfort blanky.
Ferrals: I think little K must be a heavy wetter, if he goes into a huggies at night, after a bath 5ish... He will last the night but his skin is damp, where if I put him in a bambooty, his skin is dry... That is at 6:30 am. Fantastic you can get them cheap. See, you guys would not know any different but I know as I had Zo in Canada so it ****s me, how dear they are.
Different nappy too. I paid $20 for 240 of the size ones. : )
Tams wow was that is cheap was that a good brand or cheaper ones.
I took Ella out to visit some work mates and passed her around for cuddles and she just fell asleep in their arms she was really content on strangers holding her that surprised me.
Yep, that is brand name but that is because it is in bulk. I personally like pampers but they are the same as huggies here. Top two brands. : )
Everyone thinks I love shopping because I buy in bulk but it is just the only way I know how to shop. Bring on Costco. : )
