Doesn't want boob. Doesn't want bottle. Just a battle between us as usual.
ATM he is having small amounts of formula or ebm during the day if I can get him to drink at all. And at night he is having boob if he is sleepy enough to not realise what a horrible offensive thing is in his mouth!

Its the age! Hamish is lucky to drink half of his day time bottles! Really only drinks at night - when he is half asleep!
My MCHN yesterday told me that its very comom when they start eating! Still a PIA though!

    H mans stats from MCHN:
    Weight 11.620 Kgs (+ 3kgs in 2 months)
    Length 72.5cms (+ 5.5cms in 2 months)
    Head 46.5 cms (+ 2.5cms in 2 months)

Hope eveyone is getting more sleep than me! xo

jak ive recently read something about the 6month breast refusal, maybe he's just going through that? will he drink from a sippy cup? youre doing so well persisting with boob, it must be driving you bonkers!!

kylz its mostly whingeing about ella, chloe is being a little champ eating solids like shes a bloody 2 year old and feeding great, and mostly sleeping well except for when we were trying to sleep overnight at hossy with ella but thats understandable i couldn't sleep either!! just having a bit of a rough time with ella, but nothing I can do about it, so better suck it up! just a hard sometimes

haha you would have huge guns!! ella is 4, but physically and neurologically she is 10-12 months. she understands more lately which is great, but is classed as non verbal so cant tell us and her (and our) frustration is out of control!! shes getting an ipad and some apps next week which im hoping will help her.....is Bella 3? ive heard the 3's are worse than the 2's!! has she been like that for a while (like is it H man related) or something new? hope its just a phase hun xx

chloes gummy smile is cute, but she seriously has been 'teething' for about 3 friggin months!!

That must be frustrating for everyone! Hope she enjoys her iPad!! Bella will be 3 in December and it's like she is going on 13! Has an answer for everything!! Sleeping was ok before H but now it's just worse! Last few nights have been better so here's hoping she get better!!
H man was ok for a bit after his 2 teeth came through but I think he is getting his top teeth now as he is grumpy!!

Gotta love it - had Jack booked in to get his 6mth needles and the drs can't do it as their vaccination fridge has broken down and won't be for at least 2 weeks until it's fixed or a new one

Not much to really report here - just been busy, had a good friend's BIL pass away last week so funeral was yesterday which has thrown my week into turmoil

Jack has no teeth, luke had his 2 bottom ones by this age so we will see, there is heaps of chewing of fingers and everything else he can get in his mouth

Thanks guys. It's very frustrating indeed. He has never liked the boob so I'm getting to the point where I just don't know what to do, but I don't want to do something rash and then regret it.

    No teeth but defo teething.

We discovered yesterday he can sit. I was going to buy a sit up ring thing and I though I'd better just check first, so I sat him down and what do ya know?! Lol. Crap mother award goes to.....

Yeh Kylz, was a bit of a sad day

jak - oh jaki, you poor thing. I have the problem where Jack loves the boob and struggles to have a bottle. He does drink from a sippy cup pretty well tho, which I offer to him every meal and during the day

lou - how is ella recovering from being sick??

    hi to everyone else

    Hello to you all.

It has been sooooo long since I have been here. I have missed so much and I definitely am not going back and reading up, lol. I have red the last two pages though.

No teeth here with M & R. They show all the signs of teething and they have been for so long but nothing yet. I'm just about to give up checking everyday, they'll appear when they appear I guess. THey both are sitting and R rolls everywhere. He has just started getting on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. M is just so lazy, lol. IF he's not sitting he just lays on his back talking to the ceiling. I know he can roll cause I have seen him do it but he just doesn't want to. He is my chubba bubba where R is so active he feels like a feather weight compared to M. Neither of them have said any words yet. When they cry it sounds like they say mum but I think that is just their cry. M is a trooper at sleeping. He is so good at it R still doesn't like to let me sleep. I feel like I can sleep for 6 months straight especially atm. We have all been sick. It started out the boys had the poo's and spews which the doc seemed to think it was Rota Virus (don't they get immunised for that). I was told I wasn't allowed to feed them anything but electrolytes - poor little guys were starving so I caved and feed them rice cereal. They are way to young to understand. Than we all got a cold which then turned into a sinus infection for me and the boys ears were all yucky and stuff and having lots of trouble breathing with there little blocked noses so now we are all on antibiotics. I really don't like sick bubba's, poor little dudes, I feel so helpless and than I can't help but think "what am i doing wrong for them to get so sick". Oh well, on the mend now thought - woohoo!

Lou - how is Ella going now? Is she all better?

Jak - YAY for Wee Man sitting.

Kylz: Any more teeth? Had any luck with the sleeping issue?

Kitty: How's your feeding going with C, any luck?

who else comes in here regularly these days?

lou: yup he actually bites me. Then wonders why I scream and sit him up away from me and the boobie. I think I've worked out Im trying to BF him the normal amount of times a day but he just doesnt want it as much anymore. I used to feed him around every 3 hours so 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm but now no no no. Basically he wants it in the morning when he wakes up which lately has been 5am. Then he will maybe want it again 11am. Then 3pm ish then sometimes before bed. So now only 3-4 times a day but he has started eating alot more solid food during the day so that must make up for it. At least I know when he bites he is playing so he doesn't want milk then.
Chase still only has his two teeth down the bottom Is Ella still in hossy or she got out?? Is she doing better?

jaki: Around 6 months or closer to 7 is when Chase started doing the above, so maybe Wyatt is telling you he wants more solids and less milk?? Maybe I dunno lol. And crap mother award goes to me. Chase fell off a bed then that same week I didn't catch him quick enough and he smacked his noggin on the tiles....yup worse mother award def goes to me.

kate: OMG go H man!!! Chase is still only 8kg...I think its cos he likes to just walk everywhere holding my hands, he's walking off all the weight Im trying to make him put on lol

kylz: chase is still not sleeping through again either although he has been better the past 2 nights. In bed by 9pm. wakes up around 4am or 5am for feed but straight back to sleep till around 8am. I can handle that.

hope: I've just learnt to deal with the fact I get bitten a few times a day Glad the boys are on the mend. M sounds alot like Chase lol, R def sounds like a go getter

We leave for phuket on thursday!! Woo!!! I'm anticipating crazy baby on the plane, LOL wish me luck. sorry anyone i missed chase has gone through 2 arrowroot bikkies and now is demanding more staple food even though he usually has dinner at 7pm....sigh....

Kylz no crawling here either, i dont think he will ever attempt it. he much prefers walking holding onto hands. I think he will just go straight to walking whenever he is ready.
