Thanks everyone. CJ has been a real pain in the bum since I found out - posted another thread about her not urinating 17-month-old-not-urinating-very-frequentlymuch - no idea really if there is something up or she is just acting up for the crowd (my parents) or is frustrated at not walking - but she has been jolly hard work!

BG - Hope your laptop starts behaving itself soon and you finish off your move ok and your allergies clear up

Amy - I used to be a terrible eater apparently until I was 7 or 8 and only really developed a love of food as a teenager (and now there is no stopping me on the food front) so there is hope that Natty will grow up to really love food - although that must seem like a long time off, and must be very frustrating for you.

Bella - I am sure you will have a great time in the UK. As far as the wedding, I would check out where the reception is being held etc regarding what to wear as sometimes can be church is cold but reception at a hotel etc can be pretty warm (indoors in the UK is kept considerably warmer than indoors here I find - so layers probably a good idea) I have only been to a wedding in Scotland in the summer, and DH did wear a kilt!

Everyone - how were your bubs just prior to walking? CJ is being such a PITA and I am hoping is a sign she might walk soon! Being part time is good but will be nice after my parents have gone so will be a bit more normal.

Amy - highchair issues are minimal now - have worked out that if I give Bailz a few mouthfuls of food on the way to the highchair he wants to get in it so he can eat the rest - 95% of the time this works a treat - the other few times, well we just persist and it hasn't been a big issue - WHEW!

Seems like since Bailz has started walking and his independence has improved the tantys etc have dramatically decreased - Yay for walking

Oh and Vic - I am STILL soooooooo excited for you, you have me clucky, I have been in Sean's ear about TTC today LOL

jamie has been a pain recently could be the age maybe lucky u nay jamie has tantys 10 times worse than before he walked i suspect jamie has some form of ADD just have this feeling and it has been known to be heriditary and DH has it and a lot more common in boys but it cant be diagnosed until 4 the earliest wish it could be earlier so we can do something to help it not develop or make it less severe i guess i'll have to look into it i suppose other than that hes a gorgeous little boy that cant talk his communication is screaming and its getting extreme

J - he might be a bit out of sorts with all the changes in your household - Jasmines arrival would be a massive upheaval for him - perhaps once he adjusts to her being a permanent fixture (so to speak) it will help him behaviourly. I think its pretty common for a firstborn to act out / have tantys etc as a way of 'reclaiming' attention lost to a sibling. Hopefully also once he starts communicating more speech wise he will be less frustrated and less likely to have a tanty. Obviously I am far from an expert, but just throwing a few thoughts at ya
It seems that generally speaking boys speech develops slower than girls, and as they cant communicate what they want, they are likely to act out in frustration. Fingers crossed things improve - as much as we love our babies, they can indeed be a pain at times. Some days Bailey is so clingy that he drives me bananas - eg he wont even let me go to the loo without carrying on like I've broken his heart when I put him down on the bathroom floor so I can pull my pants down for a wee (TMI I know LOL)

Jac i reckon its his way of adjusting to the baby, now he realises he isnt getting 100% of the attention and we all know what boys r like ha ha

Vic Jade still isnt standing or walking but is walking holding one of my fingers and ive caught her standing breifly and i think she doesnt realise she is doing it, i reckon she has it in her to be wlaking but its just the confidence issue...also she can get around so fast crawling so why walk and why walk if mummy picks u up all the time lol.

I can definitely vouch for the fact that Baileys impatience/frustration was at an all time high just before walking - and very high maintenance - almost like a wonder week of sorts - so Cerys may well be in the midst of a big development leap and about to walk if she is going through a bit of a spell like this

Hi everyone!!! Had an awesome weekend!

Re the walking: I don't remember either of my kids being too fussy just before they started walking, but they were pretty young. It def could be that though. HOW EXCITING!!! I love when they learn new things!

I hope you are all going well.

J big hugs. It's hard with 2 little ones. I hope Jamie starts to calm down and get used to it all very soon for you.

Am just about to head off weekend away but have an hour train journey to kill so thought would pop in and say hi, unfortunately can't look back easily on phone so apologies if miss people, also get a bit travel sick so will see how I go.

Thanks for all the inputs on walking, cj def getting better balance each day so hopefully not too far off, think she only holds my finger for confidence now. She has been less difficult and has more appetite so partly must have been stomach upset last week, which I got on Sunday night - boo!

Been reading everybodys status updates on fb, Lee have never had mice but think I would hate that, J I see Jamie been playing with spiders, I don't mind spiders myself
Prefer them to mice, but am yet to see any real big ones or dangerous ones in OZ.

yes, mice - they SUCK!! a packet of pasta we only bought this week - GONE. four traps set and the feisty little bugger is so full of pasta he won't go near them - is it wrong to hope he runs away and the pasta expands and he dies a horrible nasty death?? i usually abhor cruel thoughts, but if he hitched a ride from Boo town to the new house - well, i'm just not feeling very sympathetic!

feeling a bit meh at the moment. life has been somewhat ordinary with moving, terrible hayfever - and now the poppet has infection of some sort. seems to be viral throat infection - the fevers are not pleasant. the house is due to settle on Monday - all well and good - except for the fact that OUR bank are being painful and may not be ready for the money on Monday - sorry - but how can they NOT be ready to be paid out?? it's pretty simple! but until they're paid out and the money for overdue rates (oops), water (their idea to stop paying until settlement) and thing, it's gonna probably be another week before we see our share - and we have liabilities we HAVE to be pay by the end of the month and it's all hinging on that money coming in. it was all organised around settlement and stuff so i'm rather frustrated (there has been a lot more with stuff the buyer is doing to P me off, but this is the one that has me most upset)

anyway, on kidlet front - E is really not herself - fevers suck! hate seeing her like that - had to have today off work to be with her - thought i'd wasted my time this morning when she was a little clingy but ok - then lunch time hit and the same thing happened today as yesterday - she seemed to just crash and has looked stoned and been clingy ever since. poor princess

gptta go - she's asking me to play with her first birthday helium ballooon with her - it's still floating even now! she has a ball chasing it if we grab it from the ceiling for her lol. today, i'm happy to do anything to keep her happy today

For walking andy walked at 14mths...now he is trying to run which is funny lol

I have also had the worst weekend. Friday had lots of fun stuff on (DD MG Christmas gathering, ABA meeting etc) and had to cancel it all because I felt like I had flu - think just very bad cold, managed to get DD to her 18 month check up and after that we just lay about all day, me counting down minutes till DH got home. Saturday I felt a bit better (MS is bad this time so is hard to tell what is what) but DD seemed to pick up cold which affected her chest , so she just wants to be cuddled and sleep and needs her nose wiped every two seconds. We had been to see doctor recently about her chest as sounded very chesty and he said wasn't an infection but gave us a script for AB's in case she developed tem, today was 39.5 and seemed to be getting more and more lethargic so gave her some AB's and this evening she has perked up slightly. I hope we are both better tomorrow - I really need to go to work.

The first tri sucks - I feel a bit duped by Mother Nature that I didn't remember how bad the First Tri can be. I never really thought about being pregnant for 9 months again and how I might feel for those months - just would have a baby in 9 months! DOH.

Our CC were cancelled the other week due to fraud and we are still waiting for replacements - so I am a bit behind with my KK, still might make posting deadline but if not will be in post by 3rd. Got very cross with WP as they messed up us getting the replacements big time. The CC's were the cards we used to withdraw from the ATM too so has been such a pain.

We have hip check on Friday - am worried about that - if CJ was walking think would be less so. Does anyone know what will happen about CJ's X-RAY as I am pregnant - will I have to wear something, or will I not be able to go in and hold her?

Nicky - hope you don't have any major issues with the flood

Bella - Are you in UK yet, will you be posting while over there? Have a great time enjoy the snow! - seems there is quite a bit of it at the moment.

Vic - Bailey's had 3 lots of hips xrays - I think they prefer you NOT to be in the room, but each hospital may have their own policy. They asked each time if there was any possibility I could be pregnant, and even though I obviously wasn't, I still had to wear this big apron thing which was really heavy - I think it had a lead protective layer in it or something. Perhaps ring ahead to check what will happen before you go, as if they wont let you in you might want to take someone else to hold CJ

Naomi - Cheers for the info - I gave the hospital a call and they prefer you not to go in, they are happy to hold but said is much more difficult to get a decent x-ray as normally the bubs are not happy going with a stranger. So DH is either swapping shifts or taking an hour or so off (x-ray is 8:15 so a good time) - which is great as I want to make sure they get the best x-ray. I am hoping they say hips all ok and should put CJ in shoes like Bailey to help with her walking - the cranial osteopath had a look at her feet and says that the muscles are a bit week on one side round the ankle so in her opinion shoes would help but to see what the hip people say first. I so so so so want her walking, or at least standing on her own - at the moment you go to put her down she won't sit, so stands and clings onto your legs - is a pain in the neck!

Credit cards finally arrived today - woohoo. I haven't been well though sinus infection, so am now on some AB's (preg safe ones) I didn't really want to have any but have been suffering for about five weeks and that can't be doing the bub any good either (in an email to DH I wrote babies - twins are still on the brain here!). Was my day off today but felt so rotten ended up putting CJ in for an extra day in daycare and just laying in bed all day apart from the doctors visit. Fingers crossed the AB's and the sinus irrigation stuff do the trick - I had a lot of sinus issues in UK and two operations but have had minimal problems over here - I am blaming the wet winter/spring.

Vic - is there a chance you are pregnant with twins? I guess you'll find out when you had a scan- its funny as its been on your mind for such a long time, perhaps Mummy intuition (or wishful thinking LOL). Sean was very relieved when Bailey started walking, I hadn't realised what a stress it had been to him, but in his mind until he started walking he was worried there was still hip issues delaying things. I wasn't as concerned myself (although I was very keen for him to walk) but hadn't related it to there still possible being hip issues as Sean had. I totally understand you want for her to walk though - its very frustrating just before they start - they want to and carry on a bit if you dont pick them up, but they cant quite work out how to go about it. Hope you feel better soon babe.

Nicky - far out man, the photos are crazy, cant believe there is soooooooooooooooo much water - take care babe, I hope it doesn't cause you guys any grief and it subsides soon.

Bailey's walking has improved significantly, he rarely crawls now, and his balance is much improved, he'll be running next!!

Naomi - there really is no reason to think twins, none in family etc so fingers crossed the scan will show one, but we will cope if is two what is meant to be will be. My hcg was on high side when had tested but that is not a reliable indicator and I am showing already quite high up, and carrying high can be indicator, but mum carried high with all of us and was scanned suspecting twins and only one so the position does not indicate either. I had vague twin worries before DD but not so full on and my intuition has never been great so I think is prob nothing. (although my sister has good intuition and dreamt of boy girl twins for me in a dream earlier in year - if you stalk my new BellyBuddies thread 15th to 31st July I posted a chat transcript I had had with my sis about twins).
