Oooh Karaoke!!! sounds like fun! I didn't think anywhere did it anymore... except in Mt Waverley? Was it Bob and Eileen's place in Mt Waverley?
Nutter - Happy 30th Birthday! Don't hide! I doubt very much that anyone here would be inconsiderate and blab anything you didn't want them to. That is what this safe BB place is all about, not out there in FB land. :grouphug: You are among friends here. And of course we have our private BB group on FB which is another nice place to chat!
Ellie - you sound just like me!! The crazy life of having a 1 and 2 year old! Doesn't leave much time for anything else.
Peta - I hope you got some sleep. We had teething here too. I saw the 4th tooth coming down at the top, only for the one on the bottom to pop through instead! So that make 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom, so I am guessing we'll get another 2 very soon! (Well the top one is the one I was expecting so I figure that one will be in the next week or so.)
Oh, and YAY! Emme started walking last week, and really got it together on the weekend, so I now have a toddler!
Ok, better run and pick the munchkins up ready to start the onslaught of the evening! Have a good night all!

I must not POAS until the morning.
I must not POAS until the morning.
I must not POAS until the morning.
I must not POAS until the morning.
Grrrr. Hurry up, morning!!
Thanks, girls!! Prayers and prayer and more prayers for a sticky bundle, and a healthier, less up-chucky, acidy and nauseous 9 months, and a very straightforward delivery! But an equally healthy, blissful, blessed and fabulous sleeping and feeding little bubba. Pink or blue, not fussed. But I feel a bit pink ... ;)

Hahaha WOW I havent been on BB for sooooo many months! I quickly pop in and look what I find... a pregnant nutter =)
CONGRATS!!! Wishing you a very happy & healthy pregnancy & birthing time xxx
-
thanks, all!!!
the birthing is a bit different, because I will have to have a c-section. I'm guessing that they will want to do it around 38 weeks, to avoid the risk of me going into labour, but I'll wait and see what the Ob/Dr says, etc.
but yes, very exciting ... went and got the blood tests taken today.
I've been having cramps which initially concerned me - but then I vaguely recall that a few of you had them last time? And it was the uterus stretching or something? Does anyone remember?
-
so I called the Drs today to find out whether my blood tests are back.
some of them were - yay! and they were all normal :D
I was told to call back in a couple of hours, so that the next ones would have arrived, and the Dr would have looked at them. did that - and they were fine too. yay! :happydance:
then I ask "what about the one that confirms I'm pg?"
silence :o
we didn't get that one ... she checked a few times, and then had to go ask the Dr, etc - turns out because I'd done POAS (5 ) the Dr hadn't ordered it!!
I said that b/c I'm so irregular, we can't just assume LMP timing is going to be ok, because that gives me a 7 week window - and as I have to have a c-section, we really *really* need to know how far along I am!
Anyway, they took my point immediately, called up Dorevitch in short order, checked that they still have enough of my blood left to do the gestation test, and they're doing it now - and I should have the results in a couple of days.
le sigh.
but at least I checked!!
oh, and the Royal Womens have accepted me as a patient - they were very sympathetic and understanding. I am pleased :)
-
Excellent to hear things are progressing well! Hopefully your pg blood test comes back speedily & then you will know for sure where you're at.
-
Yay nutter.... So pleased things are working out well.... Let's hope it continues... And planning can begin!

Yay!! Congratulations Nutter.... very exciting! When I read your news I started getting all fidgety I was so excited on your behalf.
So here in lies my next mood.... clucky!! (I wish there was a chicken emoticon for clucky!) Especially as two close friends are due to have their babies in the next month. But I must be patient.........
-
I am very excited ... still waiting for the official word from the blood tests - the Dr decided that as I'd done 5 POASs, he didn't need to do the gestation test, and he just did the immunisation ones!!!
Gah!
I really, really need the gestation one beause:-
(a) I'm a worry wart control freak at the moment; and
(b) my cycles are so mental that there's about a 7 week window where conception might have taken place, and I *kinda* need to know how far along I am, given that they have to c-section me at 38 weeks, and I want to make sure that I don't go into labour and pop everything open again, but also don't want them c-sectioning me 7 weeks earlier than they should ...
wow.
anyway, should get the results tomorrow, and then I will know for sure (well, as sure as they can be for now!!) and I will know when the magic 12th week ends, and when we can go public!!
:happydance:
