I can go there, it'll take me about 1.5hrs so it couldnt be before 10am as I would need to time the drive with Zens nap.
SLeepy - would rather you didnt if he is unwell, that way he doesnt get sick & if any other kids get sick they wont blame E...fingers crossed he is better soon and I will see you on the 18th anyway. Got big white ostrich feathers for the shoot!

Oh no - I'm scared now (of the whole feathers thing) What are you going to do with me? LMAO

I would love to at least see the bottles of "Zen" wine tho, get plenty of pics

Just waiting on JLeigh to see if she can make it down for the meet?

I'll keep a btl of wine for the 18th

I've stuffed Zens cake - I am absolutely devastated. I put the edible image on and cause I was putting it in the fridge put cling wrap over it...Major mistake. the cling wrap has stuck to it and wrecked the image. You can still see it etc but it is no where near the quality it was. If I was flexible enough I would kick myself up the bum.

Oh Tina it wont matter. I'm sure the cake still looks fantastic! But remember you don't have to cover a cake until it is cut.
Did you not see the pic of my carousel cake?? I am lucky it didn't fall down before we cut it!! lol

ahhhh new thread, no wonder I wasn't getting notifications

Marni - Oh no poor P you guys really are having a rough time with those ear infections! Hope she's on the mend poor little poppit.

Sleepy - And poor E with Scarlet fever, hope he's better real soon too.

Tina - Hope Z's party went well, don't stress about the cake I'm sure he still loved it - it's all about the hands in icing

Jleigh - A is pretty good at amusing herself, unless she see's me on here and then sooks and needs to get on mums laps.......well it's all an attempt to get near the laptop as she's all smiles after I pick her up lol. She is pretty much still exploring the new house and is a toilet paper monster, I've learnt very quickly to keep the ensuite & toilet doors shut lol. She hasn't worked out the kitchen cupboards yet.

Speaking of which she's come in and found me, will be back later once she's down for a nap and I don't have her pulling on my arms

What a crazy few days! Thursday was MIL (always exhausting), Friday was a trip to Bribie. DH and I had lunch out for my b'day yesterday and mum looked after B. then we had a nice long walk, just the three of us, in the arvo.

Gotta go, The play centre sounds fantastic tho. BBL

Ok so how does a Monday sound for everyone? The 23rd May? Its next week and I can book it as soon as I have everyone's OK.....

Tina - Am glad the party went well. I have seen the pics on facebook and am so jealous I wasn't there

I am having a not so great day today, feeling down and tired and kinda cranky - not sure as to why.....but maybe I'm not getting enough sleep or maybe I'm coming down with something - whatever it is I wish it would go away.....

Sorry for the quick exit yesterday - visitors!

Next Monday isn't good for me, but if it suits everyone else, go ahead and I can catch up another time. Any other day is fine, Friday's are great! As for times, Boz will sleep in the car, so we'd arrive around 11:30ish - it doesn't matter if we're late, does it?

Sleepy - I hope you are OK. You seem to have so much going on atm, it's the perfect time to catch a bug too! Look after yourself and PM me if you need anything.

Tina - Happy birthday Zen! Glad the cake was well liked.

Marni - Another sickie! Those ear infections can be a real pain. As a teacher, I'll give you my 2 cents worth - get it looked into and fixed ASAP as it can have a huge effect on speech and language development, and all the damage is done well before they hit school. Now's the time they're learning to listen and speak, and I had so many kids come through with speech and learning difficulties because of ear problems when they were little. I hate that the public waiting list is so long, it's just not fair, is it?

Anyway, better go cos my little cherub is awake and rattling blankie for me to go get him up!

BTW, he's had a growth spurt since he turned 1 and has gained 200g in under 2 weeks! No wonder he's eating us out of house and home

Monday 23rd is fine, the friday is also possible. Whenever suits all of us, I think we should wait until we can all get together as that is the entire point of it.

I agree with Tina, I would like to wait and meet everybody. I also can't do next Monday. What about next Friday? or the following Monday? Does either of those days suit everyone?

What about Friday the 3rd June? I am supposed to be going to Gladstone the 27-30th May coz my sister had her tubes tied while having a caesar and they didn't do it properly, so she has to go back..and she needs me to babysit her kiddies on the monday....

We can make it around 10.30-2.00pm? I will have kids to pick up from school especially on a friday as Cooper goes to daycare on fridays....so it'll be good to not have distractions and can focus on all the bubs....lol

Thanks JLeigh, I am feeling much better today, still tired, but not as down. Might try and have a nap tho...so I will be back on laters and check what everyone thinks.....unless someone else has a different place or idea?

3rd June seems fine to me. I will have my 4 year old too. Does that bother anyone? She will just play.

No it doesn't bother me, I can swap Cooper's days so he can come too.....

I will book it closer to the date, incase JLeigh can't make it...

Friday 3rd June sounds great to me! Woo hoo! Looking forward to meeting everyone, it'll be great to see you all. And it'll be great to meet your other kiddies too, the more the merrier!

Well, we've changed our meals around today, getting ready to do just 1 day sleep. He seems to be only doing 1 most days now anyway, so I just need to put him down a bit later, around 11ish. He's had trouble staying awake that long, but today was fine and is still in his cot chatting away now. We have a doctor's appointment at 12, so he'd better go to sleep soon or he'll miss out completely!

So, back to the food... is anyone else's bub a food monster? B seems to have gained almost another 100g since MONDAY! He's gone from 1 1/3 weetbix to 2, and from 1/2 slice of bread or 1/2 muffin as a snack to 1 slice/1 1/2 muffins! Of course, the poos have increased too, so we're up to 4-5 a day!

And I think we're ready to wean very soon too! Can't wait to get my bb's back, buy some new bras, but not looking forward to having saggy, tiny ones again (not that they're big now, just very noticeably lopsided, lol).

Sleepy - Glad you're doing OK. Sounds pretty rough about your sister too.
