Hey everyone,
I hear some ladies are starting to get some sleep during the night :D good to hear!
Bree had a long sleep the other night, she had a bottle at 8:30 then slept til 7am when I woke her. I nearly had a heart attack when I woke and looked at the time. I took her to the doc questioning reflux and asked him if I should be concerned about her sleeping so long, as some of the midwives say not to let them sleep so long. Doc didn't seem to concerned "as long as she doesn't do it every night" was his words. The next night was about 9 hours. and now she is back to about 6 hourly. She is feeding a little better than she has been. We were told to give her a cherry shaped dummy to help her strengthen her sucking action. She hasn't vomited for a few days so I am careful every feed now, as I'm sure there is one not far away lol. Doc has prescribed mylanta to help with the reflux which seems to help her. She is burping a lot better now too... Still a little unsettled at times during the day, but I rather it be during the day than at night.
Bree loves it when I give her nappy free time.. She was all smiley today, thought it was wonderful lol
