Hi all, thought I should pop in and update as I've been very slack :/ Phoebe is doing really well. She has cut her first tooth only last Wednesday so has been a bit grumpy of late. She is still not quite crawling yet or really even sitting up. She will stay sitting up if I put her in the position but won't do it herself, lazy girl lol. I haven't had her weighed in ages so will have to get her done when the clinic sister comes back but she is in size 0-1. I too still have a booby lover here even though she eats 3 meals a day and has some little snacks she mostly prefers boobie. We are going to have a busy year this year. My oldest boy starts high school and DD2 starts kinder Can't believe she is 5 tomorrow already. Time certainly has flown. I was pregnant with her when we moved into this house and now it's 5 1/2 years later.

Hey Porsche how did the transfer go???? Have you found out yet if you have a BFP What a great New Years present that would be.

Hi to everyone else. It has been good reading about what all the little ones are up to and how we are handling all the changes Good luck to all those who are ttc again. I am complete now so no more bubs for me. I feel I have done my bit to populate Australia lol.

Take care and have a great New Year everyone xxx

    Hi Ladies

Wow been a bit of a rush with posts lol.

I'm so glad to read everything is going well MrsS. They are doing extremely well.

So glad to read yu are all doing well. Time seems to fly. L is getting up on her knees and rocking so it won't be too long before she is crawling lol. We are just starting to baby proof things now lol.

Kimb - TF went well we had 2x 5d embryo's put back. We had 4 total but we lost 2 in the thaw. But we had 1x compacting/hatching one and one compacting one put back. BT is tomorrow but my HPT's tell me it has worked lol. So we are due in September. Going to be one super busy household.

    Hi all,

Congrats Porsche, I always wanted a bub in sept, just because my family didn't have a b'day in that month.... But my sis beat me too it.

KimB - is it hard to parent kids at different stages or do you think it makes it easier to concert on them. My hubby and I are discussing when to try for number 2?

BBB - my boy is now moving into 1's clothing and is only having 2 - 3 meals a day plus about 4 - 5 bottles. I am thinking of increasing his meal size or adding snacks but I read somewhere they should be havingh formula until 12mths....

AFM - we just got back from a short holiday, to my nana's house. It was nice to see places from my past and Seth enjoyed seeing his cousins. We might try to go longer later in the year. Otherwise, he is trying to pull himself into a standing position from sitting on the ground, using whatever is available ie my legs, a table but see no crawling.

Wow lots happening to all our bubs...

Since my last post I have had a personality change (user name from kellyd) just in case you are wondering where I sprang from..

Well my boys will be 8mths next week and are both growing and being very active little men. Liam has been crawling for about 3 weeks now and is starting to now pull himself onto his knee, so I think he will be pulling up onto the furniture very soon... Rhys is a roller and gets into tight spots all the time, although I think he is goign to start making a move to try crawling very soon as he has started to sort of commando crawl - but only using his legs - ahh, so 2 babies on the move luckily Liam loves DD so he will always make a bee line for her room to play. Liam has been sitting unsupported for about 3 weeks as well but Rhys has only just shown an interest in sitting but still uses his arms to keep him upright.

Both boys are also such good eaters. They only have 3 milk feeds a day now and 2 solid feeds, one mid morning when Rhys will eat 2 weetbix (yes 2) and Liam will have 1 1/2, and for dinner each night they will have vegetables and then desert - either custard or yoghurt. Still no teeth for either of them although with the amount of drool from both of them it wouldn't surprise me if some spring up soon.

It is so nice to now see the boys interacting with each other, although it is not always in the nicest way. Usually it is Liam stealing a toy that Rhys is playing with and he is not subtle when he does the steal, most times he will crawl over the top of Rhys to get what he wants with Rhys coping hands and knees to the head and chest. But they are also cheeky playing together, last night they were playing in there cots for about 1 1/2 hours by peeking through the cots bars at each other and then giggling, Liam would start and then Rhys would have a go and vice versa. Not ideal at 11pm at night when they should be asleep but still cute. We are hoping to have the boys moved into there own room in the next few weeks as well so mummy & daddy can hopefully have some space again. We have just bought DD a "Big Girl Bed" and will hopefully set up her new bedroom next weekend and then we can move the boys into her old room which is huge.

Oh and as for clothing sizes, my boys are in size 0 all in one outfits and singlets etc but still wear 00 seperates as they are long and lean and size 0 pants fall straight off their hips.

all he wants is an old wooden spoon from grandmas kitchen and a placemat and he's happy for ages!! Haha!
    LMAO - thats hilarious...

Yep... all clothes bought for her for christmas are size 2's... admittedly, some look a little big, but most fit perfectly. She got some really lovely clothes.
I worked out why Bree was so cranky, I hadn't realised in the rush leading up to and over christmas but she has been so tired. With daylight saving and all she hasn't been sleeping well. I had to drag out one of my 100% blockout curtains that I still had packed, and hubby put that up over the window and dadah sleep has returned. The first night of doing this Bree slept almost 14 hours and had another 2 hours late in the morning. She has since settled back to 12 hours and sleeps about an hour during the day, as she was before and she is so much more happier during the day, its incredible. Bree has approximately 3 hourly feeds, usually bottle at 7, and 10 am, solids at 1pm, bottle at 2-3pm, solids at 5pm and bottle at bedtime around 6:30-7pm. So all up, she is having 6 feeds most days.

Congratulations on your Pregnancy news Porsche!

TaRhLi, lovely to hear from you too, I can only imagine how busy you are, hope the room changing goes well

Lovely to hear everyone doing well.

Just a quickie cos I need to express then hit the hay.

River doing great, bit grumpy of late, he is very much a mummy's boy! He has his 2 bottom teeth and the two tops are moving into place, will cut in next month or so. he is also caterpillar crawling and getting up on all fours, and also pulling himself up into a standing position, so it is very exciting times indeed.

Went for a job i nterview but haven't heard back which is a relief really. I am not due to go back to work til July and am very happy where I am at the moment with my two little men.

Ok, off to express then bed, but will BBL to catch up on all the posts

    Chloe had an accident yesterday

Grandma took her upstairs and put her down while she went into another room. Chloe fell off the stairs, freefalled 2 metres to the timber floors.
Please be careful with your bubs around stairs and balconies etc. We are very lucky that the only thing she has sustained is a fractured leg.
I am a complete mess inside but holding it together onthe outside. MIL is absolutely distraught that she could be stupid enough to put her down and leave the room.

Oh my god Bern you just made my heart skip a beat.... sending whatever mummy courage I have your way. I don't know what to say... but thank you for the timely reminder and big hugs for you. I hope Chloe is doing well, and your MIL too. Remember to give yourself permission to have a meltdown as well, it just shows how much you love her and feel for her.

Well nothing that serious is happening in my house at the moment. Amelia is just chugging along, slowly growing, but quickly growing up. She'll eat as much food as my nearly four year old, and still loves her boobie. She has been practicing standing solo now, so not long till she is walking. I can't believe we are up to this already.

I hope everyone else is doing well... gotta put the little man to bed now, so will pop back later.

Will post later about my boy.

Oh Bern, how horrible for you all - especially Chloe...

I haven't had to face anything like that.... yet.... with DD or the boys so I don't know how I would be, but can only imagine what you must be feeling inside. Sending big hugs to you.

thanks girls. She is amazing, she is already rocking on all fours and crawling around the house. You would think nothing had happened to her.
I really do believe that her 2 cousins & aunty & Uncle that are in heaven, were watching over her that day. Will let you all know how our follow up at the hospital on monday goes <3

Bern huge hugs!! When I was staying at my parents over Christmas , Dad had just helped/encouraged Jacob to stand and hold onto the edge of the bed and then without thinking he took his hands away and turned to say something to my mum and all I could do was look on in horror and scream from the doorway as I saw my little one fall and crack his head on a bed box no where as frightening as what happened to you little one but I can somewhat understand ! Be kind to yourself and grandma xx

Bern how did your appointment go? I hope Chloe is recovering well. I too think she had people watching over her, she is very lucky! So glad to hear she is trying to get around again, thats wonderful news.

Quick catch up. Bree has cut another tooth, mum tells me there the eye teeth, but i thought the eye teeth were the next ones across. Anyway, she has been quite ill for over a week. She started out very snotty monday before last, and I got the dr to check her while I was there seeing him. He said she didn't have any infection and that she would be ok. I think it was the next day she cut her tooth? Her routine went out the window and she screamed more in those few days than I've heard her entire life. She keeps rubbing her sinus' and pulling her ears. I took her back to the dr on Friday, started her on antibiotics for an ear infection. Over the weekend she has been up and down, still totally out of routine, which has been really difficult for me to know what she wants or needs. For the first time, I felt I had no idea what to do for her. I had my son to the dr yesterday so I got her checked again while I was there and it turns out that now she has infection in both ears.
Some of you may remember me talking about the bad nappy rash Bree had for months. I finally got it to go, and started using paw paw ointment which had kept nappy rash away, that was until the teething and illness over the past week. She got a really bad rash the other day, she screamed. I cleaned her and sat her on the change table to let her calm down a bit. She ended up doing a wee while she was sitting there and she screamed her little heart out it was that painful for her. We left the nappy off for about an hour and a half and fixed her with paw paw ointment and the redness dissapeared almost as quickly as it came.
So its been a horrible week or so for little Bree.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

    Thanks for asking GG

Unfortunately the bone has not healed and will likely move so my little girl is in plaster. Thankfully we didnt need the spica cast. She has it from her bum to her toes. Comes of in 2 weeks. Other than being grumpy and screaming while they cast her leg, she is happy as. Still able to roll around. At lease now her agoo leg warmer fits

    Hi all,

BBB, GG & Bern - I hope all your kidlets are feeling better real soon.

As for mine, he is going really well. He has cut his second tooth and handled it really well. I am trying to implement a new food schedule, as I felt I wasn't feeding him enough now that he is starting to move. He started to crawled today but still prefers to stand most of the time.

    Nothing else to report.
    Cheers, jubear.
