just a quickie from me - it's a beautiful day and i should be either outside or in bed (but SIL is coming over for a visit, so i am having a shower. she is also insisting that we meet at a nearby park which kinda irrits me.... i suggested we meet at the playground directly outside our front door but she didn't like that idea so i don't get an afternoon nap. oh well, what can i expect from my hubby's family )
LBF: wow a parenting consulting business. do you do consulting via phone? i know some parents here in sweden who need support with a child's sleep issue. PM me! (Also, i'd be interested in hearing the name, if you are willing to share). I am also a quick birther (each birth has been less than 1 hour of active labour) but i don't remember ANY "pain" like this during the first two. i defo think that my body is protesting!!!!
BMW: i made a leek and potato soup last night for the family, swearing i would touch it... but i couldn't resist.
re: whether what mummy eats effects what baby eats..... i think it generally does but it also depends on how sensitive the child is and how developed their constitution is. so that's a non-answer but hopefully covers all sides of the spectrum
re: uterine-constricting pains jelly: wow, like being in labour. holy crap. i thought braxton-hicks level was bad enough (especially when the middy pushed her hand down on my tummy after the labour, to check whether there were any clots that needed to come out, i shoved her off - oops!!)
