Hi ladies, I would love to join this group if you'll have me my name is dani with my little girl Molly who was born on the 9th of may! We come from a blended family as my partner has two little beautiful girls to a previous relationship. If there is anything else you would like to know about me please feel free to ask I'm finding myself struggling to have people to talk to as majority of my friends just don't bother with me now that I can't go out and party whenever I feel like it.. Bit sad really!

Oh that's a good point! Oh she is great.. She managed to cover me in vomit tonight when we went out for dinner.. I'm now thinking of packing extra clothes for myself as well as her when we leave the house now lol. I haven't started her on solids yet I'm holding off a little.. Even though dp is trying to push for it I'm sticking to my guns.. I just don't think she is ready yet :-/

Oh i definitely will expect the unexpected from now on lol, all dp and I could do was laugh, and once Molly had finished she seemed to find it funny too lol
I'm exactly the same I want to wait until closer to 6months, he doesn't really argue with me, just tries to give a nudge.. But he should just give up lol. His eldest is 6 and his middle is almost 4, they are great kids, and so good with Molly!

They're fun ages I get a lot of laughs being around then. The younger girl (the almost 4 year old) is very very protective of Molly, their little cousin who I think is also 4 tried to give Molly a kiss, and wow did she tell him off " don't you go near my baby sister until you wash your hands!" Lol it was so cute

Welcome Dani!! Congratulations on the birth of Molly... I have four little girls, our latest daughter born late May!! The big sisters must be a wonderful help, how often do they come to stay?? I had two children before meeting my husband, so the last two are his first... I forget that he is still having his first experience of being a dad at times, it sounds like your partner is really suportive to give you a nudge but give it a rest. You are finding your way for the first time.. can't wait for you to be able to come over to FB

Hi Dani, congratulations on the arrival of Molly! I found myself feeling really isolated when I had DS1. None of my friends were at the same place as us and we often couldnt go out. It was really tough.

I've started Owen on solids (he was born on May 10) because he was showing signs of being ready. I was happy to wait but he was watching us eat and screaming when he didnt get any. He is really unsettled at dinner time so if i'm having something thats not hot he'll sit on my knee and he was throwing himself forward when i'd bring my fork to my mouth. I started on avacado and he loves it. No problems with him eating it. I introduced sweet potato this morning and he liked. I gave him some avacado when he finished it and he started gagging on it.

sorry for the poor spellingf, feeding while typing.

We're going to get his needles today, better get moving....

Thank you ladybirdflies and BMW I'm feeling right at home already
Four girls, how amazing is that! I think if we have another it will be a girl to lol.
We have the girls every second weekend, and miss them like crazy the second they go home, it's tough, but we cherish every second we have with them. My partner is very supportive, his a fantastic daddy, probably one of the reasons I love him so much, but I just need him to realize that each baby is different, and that Molly may not do the same things at the same times as his first two babies, but at the sÃ*me time I don't want to knock him down when he wants to be involved, many dads I know just leave everything to the mums, but he loves being involved, after I had Molly I became sick, for 3 weeks straight he got up to her every night and had to start work at 5:30 the next day, he was amazing
Yes I'm going to start Molly on avocado when we start foods, I'm going to try avoid farax I think. Oh no not needles! I'm dreading Molly's next week :-/ I just keep telling myself you've gotta be cruel to be kind
