    Just chiming in to say:

    Love Lola! Great name!

Self-settling going well here too. Doing pretty much the same as Ali. When it's bedtime for Craig, we go put Ryan in the cot with the lullaby cot thingy going (we have the jungle one) and he goes to sleep before it's finished. I think he starts his wind down with a bath, 'cause he gets really cranky around 6pm but always stops crying as soon as his clothes come off and I'm about to put him in the bath.

Feel better soon Ali and Mel! Hope your kids don't get the cold as well.

Thanks Suz - we have the jungle one too lol! Amelia loves it Glad the settling is working for you too, Amelia has a bath at 6.00 pm and then bottle....she then goes to bed about 7.00/7.30 pm.

Yep, have a cold here, don't feel too bad, just a yukky nose, good excuse not to go anywhere and do some scrapbooking. I'm trying so hard not to kiss Amelia as I don't want her to get it but I guess if she's going to get it she will anyway being in the same household! I never had one cold last year and I was pregnant. So far I've had gastro (thanks to the inlaws for passing that one on) and now a cold in a month! I wonder if it's because I'm not exposed to different people like normal, usually I'm on the train and at work, I reckon it boosts your immunity being around people constantly. Not a good enough reason to go back to work though is it? lol

And hope you're better soon too Mel.

    Hello Girls!

Feeling a little bit dodgy this morning, OHHHH the joys!

Brit is happy about the pregnancy! She was a bit shocked, she kept saying "Oh my God, Oh my God!"!! This morning before school she said, "Isn't it funny that we are not very excited about this baby cos its the second one and we have Archie to look after!?" Hahahaha! She is soo rapt with Archie though, honestly, she absolutely dotes on him! She is such a good big sister and, i hate to say it, but i think she is going to be VERY handy to have around come January!!!

Alison: Hope you are feeling better soon! And hope Amelia doesn't get it, but if she does, look at it as a positive that it is building up her immune system, so although it is not very nice at the time, it is actually good for them in the long run xxxxx

Looks like Lola it is then! haha! Everyone agrees! The only thing DH doesn't like about it is that the Rolling Stones song "Lola" is about a transvestite......... But as if kids her age would work that out, that song would be positively ANCIENT by the time she is at teasing age!!!!

We are still struggling with the sleeping bizo, but i am trying to make sure he gets more naps during the day and i can honestly say that he needs to go back to bed after 2-2.5 hours of awake time. So he must have been sooooo tired before i worked this out! Stupid Mummy! I just have to have a lay down with him in the arvo and we have a big sleep together.

Where is Mel lately? I'm LOST without FB already! hahahaha! Keep going to log on then remember that i'm no longer on there! Talk about withdrawals....... I won't be able to see all your new clippies Bec and pics of your shop Sarah..... BOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Maybe i'll join up again..... hahahaha!

Hope you all have a lovely day... I am going to visit my Mumma and Pappa! Dad is going great and will be starting back at work next week! He has been on his tractor the last two weeks, he can't stand sitting still, so he'll be excited to get back to work!

    xxxxxxxxx

Hey Kymmy - well I AM ancient (lol) and I didn't even think of that so suffice to say I'm sure Lola will be safe. It's such a pretty name, I lurrrv pretty names. I still love Ruby for next time around if I have another girl, but DH needs convincing. I heard the name Lauren the other day too at swimming and thought that was a lovely old fashioned pretty name. Anyway, best not get ahead of myself ha ha. Re sleeping, Amelia is basically awake generally for 1.5-2 hours - no more as she gets overtired. Even if she isn't rubbing her eyes which she usually is I put her down. If you wait until they're past it they won't settle - well, Amelia won't anyway!
