Hi Ladies!!!

Thanks to all of you wishing us a happy ttc journey lol..Im not even getting AF so it will be pretty relaxed lol.

Telly and Alison, The wall is so big for me right now lol..I was so motivated but now am eating badly again and no exercise but its so freakin cold here and I dont want to walk anymore...I have exercise equipment here but honestly cant be bothered right now...Ill have to make an effort to eat well in Melbourne as they are always trying to feed me fatty foods there lol. Im going to take the pram so maybe well do a bit of walking but I imagine its freezing there anyway...

Yay on everyones teeth coming through..My friends baby had his tooth come through too and even though she was a little happy I think she would have been happy for him to be gummy for a while longer...I certainly can do without the teeth at the moment, Id settle for V being able to crawl as she is driving me nuts with her crying because she cant get to where she wants lol.. Yesterday she moved one hand and foot then fell over but I can see she is getting better....

Spent the last couple of days with my friend and his partner in Newcastle. There was another bubba there she is 1 month older than V and she was standing, crawling and very mobile..I think she is a quick one as she has been doing it for ages too!

Im a bit grrr with DH right now...I get so lonely during the week and he works so hard that that is why I go and visit friends, go to Melbourne when he goes away..I came home yesterday and when dh got home he tells me hes going to a poker night on Friday...I was ok with it but then I just felt so indignant! I always feel like he in a way "pays me back" for going and visiting (which I only do because Im lonely) Im going to Melbourne on Monday and I think he should be making the most of being with V and helping me...He ate nothing but takeaway while I was gone but Im supposed to run the house and do everything as wel as keep V entertained and happy... Plus he didnt even think to oh I dont know...put on a load of washing or change the sheets on the bed..anything to help me out... Just came home and ate dinner and didnt wash up... grrrr sometimes I resent him so much and feel like we arent even friends. boohooo...

Ok so that was a bit of a rant..sorry. Ill try and come back later but duty calls...

Hi Natty - don't worry, I have the same frame of mind re the diet at the mo. I want to lose the last few kgs but I just can't get motivated, just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day or energy for that matter! As for AF, do you want mine? I just got mine today, just in time for my birthday on the weekend, friggin awesome! Oh well, guess weigh in this week will give me a + instead of a - not only have I been pigging out (no wonder) but now I will have bloating as well, awesome again! DH and I have been niggling a bit lately, last night I just looked at him and thought, god you sh*t me, I think all this swimming debate etc has been really getting to me and then he made a comment last night and I just got really annoyed so I went to bed. He had to get a tender done yesterday and he always comes home poopy when he's had to do a tender. The fact AF has now arrived makes sense as to why I'm so shirty with him though lol. I get PMT for sure, but only with him, no-one else ha ha! Amelia didn't have a very good night last night, she cut her first tooth yesterday, it's just peeking through the skin so not sure if it's hurting but she woke up in a state at 9.30 pm, she'd only been in bed 2.5 hours and then I got up about 4/5 times last night for the dummy which she hasn't been doing for the last week. I suddenly realised that DH never gets up to her in the night, it's always me! Now, I know he works etc., but I get up the same time as him as well and still have to function throughout the day so I'm not sure I buy that excuse anymore do you girls? He's helpful in other things, he usually feeds her in the morning - he has his own business so can pretty much start whenever he wants depending on the jobs he's got on so it's not like he always has to be up and out the door at 6.00 am, usually he doesn't leave until 7.30 am etc. And he baths her most nights and helps on the weekends during the day etc but I just suddenly thought how much it p's me off that on those nights Amelia has a bad one it's me who gets up every time. Lucky for him she doesn't do it every night or I'd be one cranky biatch!!!!!! Anyway, I've just had a rant too and feel better now lol.

Oh and yesterday at swimming, when doing the 1, 2, 3 before we submerge them Amelia was closing her eyes, she knew she was about to go under! It was amazing, mum is up at the moment so she was there to see it which is great. It was so funny, of course we laughed at her cause it was so cute and now she's doing the squinting thing all the time to get a reaction, they're not stupid are they! She's also doing this clicking thing with her tongue and is trying to say Dada, it half comes out. Why do they say dada first, grrrr!

Natty - I think nearly everyone has a few relationship hurdles after their baby is born, particularly their first. DH and I used to fight like nothing else after Aricyn was born, I mean, its so different to how your relationship was before, and everyone has new roles, still working them out, working out what they are comfortable with, getting used to sharing their wife with someone more demanding than them ;) It can be hard for men to adjust and to help us accordingly.

My DH is really good now - but its taken 3 kids to get there. He doesn't bathe the kids or anything cos it hurts his knees to kneel on the floor, but he'll dry and dress the two older ones, give kelti her bottle, and put all 3 kids to bed. He also gets up most nights to the girls, especially Kelti cos she's a bit of a daddy's girl. But she's been waking up lately and coming in on my side of the bed (usually cos Aricyn is already on the other side of the bed next to DH!) and I just get up and get her a bottle, then put her back into bed. So thankfully she has been going back to sleep - can't handle these 4 hour parties in the middle of the night anymore - too darn old!

Eden has slept through the last couple of nights, fingers crossed she is over whatever it was that was waking her (growth spurt maybe) and is now back to sleeping through. She is babbling a LOT these days - she says mum mum now - yayyy I finally got one to say ME first bahahaha!! Aricyn's first word was Jagger (the cat - bugger the parents), kelti's was dad dad, and yipppee I got one for me.. bahahahaha

Oh and don't even mention the weight ... I wish I was in the 70's. TBH, I don't even know what I am, I know I'm probably back to the 3 figures though - ouch. Gotta stop buying crap food! (she says after polishing off a bag of buttered popcorn with Aricyn.. lol)

Anyhoo - best go do some housework.. or see if the Kelti monster is asleep!! :D

I hear ya all on the stupid husband situ! OMG! I hate him ALOT lately! haha! He has been a real PITA lately like deliberately doing things to upset me and i CRACKED it the other night and said WTF is your problem!! He then apologised and admitted that he is a little bit jealous and feeling insecure because i don't give him much attention anymore! UMMMMM HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO Dumb*ss! Why do you think i don't have time!? And he has also been saying lately, "It's true that when you get married you don't have as much sex..." Um DUH stupidhead! We got married when i was 39 weeks pregnant and have had a BABY since then who takes up ALOT of our time OH ANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD i am now pregnant and i get pain in my tummy for AGES after we do it because (TMI) he is not exactly small in that region!! GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!! hahaha! Phew that was an unexpected vent just there!
Yeah so anyway, we are still trying to adapt. And its only going to get better, or worse......

It’s been tooooo long again since I have posted in here!!! Love reading about everyone though….makes me feel normal IYKWIM as we are all going through the same things it seems!!!

Natty – Go go go Natty!!! You’ll be UTD before you know it probably!!! I hope you really enjoy your holiday down South….it will be a nice break for you! How is your new friend going that you made last week?

Kymmy – Were you getting your periods even though you are BF Archie? I have only had 2 since Abbey was born and they are horrible….was so nice not having them for over a year!! And men just don’t seem to get it do they??!?! DH went to bed before me last night and yelled out to see when I was coming….I was going to watch some TV that I taped and was hoping he’d be asleep before I got in there, but not the case…..man…I’m just so tired that I want to just SLEEP…..I don’t have a spare ½ hour to get into that business…at least he puts the effort in so I don’t have to do much!!! Sorry TMI I think!

Mel – I’ve just today decided to get off the junk food bandwagon if I can….I have a real problem with Breakaway and Bubbly chocolate by Cadbury….I’m completely addicted and cant seem to stop myself….it would be costing us a fortune I reckon….my pay runs out in a fortnight so I wont be able to afford it all then so I’m going to try and wean myself off it now!

Ali – Good on Amelia and her tooth and swimming!! They certainly don’t miss much do they?!? Abbey was squealing out yesterday and then she’d have a laugh at herself cause of the new noise she was making….super cute!!! Wonder when Abbey will get her first tooth….doesnt seem to be anything happening with her!!

AFM – Same old, same old here. Took Abbey back to the baby clinic today for the first time in ages to get her weighed. She’s 7.95kg’s now so I think that’s OK. She certainly looks like she has enough meat on her!!

Solids are going OK. Not always interested so I don’t push it. We had spag bog last night though so I put some on her tray and let her go for it and she seemed to love it!! Hell of a mess but it was worth it to see her have such a great time!

Re AF – Mine has been super heavy the 2 times I’ve had it since Abbey…and it’s not usually like this….I’m usually pretty heavy for the first 2 or 3 days then it teeters off into nothing after about the 4th day, but at the moment it’s full on for about 5 days?? I wonder if this will ease off? Also this is going to be TMI so I apologise but for everyone that’s had a vaginal birth do you feel any difference with a tampon?? I feel like mine don’t stay in as well as before?? I can feel it in there when I shouldn’t be able to? I think I remember this with JD and it did get better after a while but it’s been 6 months now since I had Abbey? DTD is still the same and doesn’t feel any different but I wonder if I’m stretched??? Makes me want to vomit writing that!! Ha ha ha!! God I’m gross! Such a a prude. The nurse asked me want contraception we were using today and I nearly couldn’t say condom….choked it out! : ) Thinking of getting one of those Marina things? Does anyone know about / have one of them??

Missy is awake…Nearly 3 hours today for her lunchtime sleep!! Makes a hell of a difference when JD’s at kindy and she can sleep peacefully!!!

Hi Shayna - AF arrived for me today, it's the 5th one for me now since having Amelia! My first couple were close together and really heavy as well but they're back to normal now, heavy for a couple of days and then teeter off to nothing after 4/5 days. I had a c-section and I'm still finding tampons uncomfortable, it's not that they feel like they're going to fall out but it hurts like it's too tight, weird! Anyone else with a c-section notice that? It's put me off using them, I tried last AF and it felt like it was pinching when I walked so gave up on the idea. Sorry for my turn to be TMI! Having a baby takes it's toll on the old body doesn't it, old being the operative word in my case lol! xx

Shayna - Oh yeah! Hell of a difference when the house is quiet. If Kaili and I are outside, Theo will sleep for 1.5 hours easy. If she's inside, its more like 10 to 20 minutes! If only kids had a 'mute' button, LOL! I've only had AF once since having Theo, and when i did get it i was so aggravated - how dare it grace me with its presence! I haven't used a tampon for years, so I can't answer that question sorry. I had to stop using them as I had a lot of problems with UTIs :(
Haha, i had a chuckle at you hoping your DH was asleep. I often do that.. watch TV for a little longer to try and avoid the leg humping when i climb into bed :shakehead: We've been trying to 'spice up' our sex life lately :redface: Believe it or not, we decided this after I watched an episode of Oprah!!! Hahahahaha! Ahhhh who said sitting around in our jammies watching tv all day was bad for the relationship?! But yes... sorry if TMI but it's resulted in some of the best sex i've ever had :o

Kymmy - Crap you make me chuckle!! I think my DH would repost your words as his FB status if he knew I was saying that about him! LOL!!! Go kymmy!!! Typical man though.. making such a comment! 39 weeks pregnant when you tied to the knot, and now pregnant with your second.. hmm, i wonder why sex has cut back slightly! Hope everything is going well your way xx

Mel - Well said :clap: That is so true, it does take a lot for you to adjust your relationship after having a baby, and yes.. the first baby is definately the biggest adjustment! Glad to hear your DH is such a great dad and husband, sounds mushy, but he sounds just like mine ;) It took a while, but he is such a huge helper, and i love him to bits. Great news that Eden has decided to make mum her first word! very lucky!

Ali - I can't really elaborate on what mel said... worded perfectly! Things will improve, i promise. And i know what you mean about Amelia closing her eyes, isn't it incredible how much they know at this age?? We've decided to stop kaili's swimming until winter is over, and then begin again in september. Theo will start his lessons then too.

Natty - Yep, what mel said! Awesome news too chicky on the casualy TTC! Casual is the best way to go about it IMO,nice and relaxed. When it happens, it happens. You and your hubby make beautiful babies, can't wait till number two decides to come along!

AFM - Not too much happening my way. A friend of mine gave me all these bags full of old boys clothes, and seriously girls... Just about every single item is awesome! You know how normally people give you hand me downs, and they're all crap, and you send them to vinnies?? (haha, well i do!) Well not this lot!! Thinking about going to get her a gift card to target or something as a thankyou! Its definatley going to save me a bunch come summer time!
Also i went to target today and put heaps of clothes on layby for Kaili. THE CUTEST SUMMER CLOTHES FOR GIRLS!!!!!!!!!

Haha! Just quickly... MIL is here and i am hiding in my room! hahahaha!

Shayna: To tell you the truth, tampons have never been comfortable for me as i have trouble getting them in. My cervix is very low, (TMI) but i always bang into my cervix and have to take it out and try again to get the right angle! It has always been like this, even before i had Brit. So i dunno... hopefully my uterus doesn't fall out one day!!!! hahaha! As for the 'tightness' factor... for me, my PFE make a HUUUGEEE difference! Even just doing regular excercise makes a difference. But after a few weeks of doing PFE (after Archie) and doing them correctly (Physio discovered i was pushing down rather than pulling up! i fully thought i was doing them right too!) everything tightened back up nicely. I am unfortunately one of those people who always has to do them, not that everything is 'loose' when i don't but it is definately tighter when i do ITMS! I got AF after my D&C (so when Archie was about 3.5 months old) I had one period before i fell pregnant again! After i had Brit, i bled for 3 weeks then got AF on week 4 and she was fully breastfed too!!! I am SUPER fertile, obviously.

Anyway, sorry but gotta go cos i'm being a total snob to my MIL! haha!
OOhhh and i am hoping to win a brand new Silver Cross Stroller on eBay tonight!! Wish me luck!!

afm- mad busy with new shop, but excited
harper had 4 month needles yesterday, bit late as he was sick with bronciolitis then cold then fever, so wait to 8 months for next ones
otherwise shes great. moving forward somehow, not crawling but getting there, no teeth yet, will sit a bit then face plant, sorta says dada amongst the babble but not really. not in a routine, in my bed once she first wakes in the night, then stays there till the morn feeding what feels like all night. getting a bit draining.
tully is hilarious, dh tries to hump my leg all the time too and whenever i want it he is asleep at 9pm.

AFM - Well thanks everyone for your lovely birthday wishes on FB. I had such a great day. DH bought me an HTC Desire, which is the new competition for the iPhone, if you talk to computer nerds they will say the Desire is better, it does everything the iPhone does but a little more and is powered by Linux which is Google so there are heaps more apps for it etc. Of course, I haven't even owned a iPhone so I have no idea how to use it, will take me a while but so far it's pretty speccy. I always said I would never get an iPhone or anything as they were gimmicks, now look at me lol. Well I didn't buy it DH did so it's his fault. I have to say though it's the first year I think he's bought me something without me knowing about it or taking me to the shops to buy it ha ha so pretty stoked! We went to DH's folks for dinner and his sister and brother and their families came, got more goodies, a great book on baby food and some novels for me to read (I love reading although don't get much time these days) and some other bits and bobs. Tomorrow we're going out to lunch with my family (my mum did pop over and see me today). My diet will be out the window this week, I lost 400 grams but it will go back on, I've already had mud cake today and no doubt more tomorrow lol. Oh well, who cares, it's my birthday!

Anyway, best go I guess, Amelia slept a little in the pram at the in-laws but woke with all the noise so she's only just gone down at 8.30 pm which is 1.5 hours later than usual. You get that I suppose, you have to have a life huh. Tomorrow will be the same, we'll probably still be out when she's due her nap but what can you do, she will just have to learn to sleep in the pram again! I just hope it doesn't backfire on me and she doesn't sleep or we'll end up with one cranky baby lol.

Hi Girls - Just a quickie from me...where is everyone?

I had a lovely birthday weekend but it's been a little marred with Amelia coming down with her 2nd cold in 4 weeks!!! This one is a little worse as her nose is really snotty and blocked this time, I got up 6 times to her last night and eventually at 4.30 am I gave in and put her in bed with us - haven't done that in months, I just couldn't settle her and the more she cried the worse her nose got, it was bubbling it was so bad. Poor petal. I just feel awful for her. Then today we had lunch out with my family and then went back to my sister's for cake, she was happy enough but she would not go to sleep. I've just got her to bed now at 7.15 pm, she has been awake since 11.00 am - except for half an hour in the car on the way from the restaurant to my sister's she has been awake for 6.5 hours, it's just ridiculous. I don't know what tonight will bring, it will either mean she will be awake all night again with her nose or she'll be so pooped she'll sleep - I'm expecting the worst though. Is it normal to have 2 colds in 4 weeks though? I'm not sure where she got this one from although the swimming teacher last week came to teach the class with a cold (WTF!!)....I won't be taking her this week if she's unwell.

Anyway, best go, I'm so shattered after last night and today, bubs are draining when they're sick aren't they, poor thing. Will write some more tomorrow. Thanks for all your birthday wishes this weekend, I cherish our friendship a lot and feel blessed to have met you girls.

afm - theos first tooth is giving us hell. geeeez i forgot how hard this teething business is! He seems to have forgotten how to say dada, just more raptar noises which make me chuckle. we've had a very uneventful long weekend. but i'm still enjoying it.

The books say it's crap but mum said to stop reading so many books as half the time "what would they know"....guess she's right. It is a coincidence! I've got her mattress propped up a little at her head end tonight so hope she sleeps better. She was awake for 7 hours straight today, not good! xx The Clippies are gorgeous, Amelia wore hers today, will upload some pics tomorrow. The owner of the restaurant we had lunch in commented on how cute it was even. I think I need to buy more! Mum even said it was exciting as some hair was wisping over the headband part, her hair is finally growing! lol Hope Theo's pegs don't give him too much grief, how funny they're all "pegging" at the same time hee hee.

I love you girls heaps, friends forever I hope! xx Just reading my bday messages made me realise again how wonderful you all are and how lucky I am. Even my BF since high school has obviously forgotten my birthday!

Poor Millie! It's horrible when they can't breathe properly :(
One thing that was recommended to me for babies is "Baby Biotics" it's a pro biotic (like inner health plus) but it helps all the nutrients to be absorbed by the gut properly as sometimes when a baby gets a bit "run down" the gut can slow down a little which in turn prevents them absorbing all the goodies in food which in turn depletes their system, if that makes sense! I have used them for Brit (she gets sick ALL the time!!) and when she is on them she NEVER gets sick! Just an idea but it is natural and completely safe so you might want to give it a go. Hope she feels better really soon xxxx
