Wow I bought bubs a new wrap, becuase she is such a hoodini with normal muslin, the Wrap Me Up and first time I have used it she has slept to 4 hours since last feed and is still sleeping happily. I'm not sure If I should wake her or let her rest? I'm sure she will wake when she is hungry?

Alex is being a bit of a ratbag today - he apparently finds it hard to sleep when he's hot, keeps waking and constantly wants to have short little feeds. So he only went down for his afternoon sleep properly at around 5pm, after a bunch of little catnaps. Tonight may be interesting, but he's tired enough I don't want to wake him.
Ugh bad night not with sleep with wind or something every feed we couldnt get enough out and bubs was in pain she is asleep in the carrier now and i'm exhausted and need a shower!
letting dad sleep so when he wakes I can escape to the shower for awhile.
Chin up girls...I PROMISE it gets better and easier!
Lil Miss Z slept from 9pm thru to 4am last night! wish I had as well hehe
Flippin hot and gross here today, so we went to the shops early this morning and stayin home rest of the day watching the cricket...pure heaven! LOVE my cricket!!
For us not so good. We've tried a thickener and a special formula from the ped but it's not working. Looks like she will need medication. If she doesn't take the meds she can get numerous other complications so we don't have a choice. She is up and crying/screaming for most of the day and night. It's hard not to feel jealous of mums with normal babies as normally it's hard but this is another thing entirely I can't go out with a screaming baby either.
Oh well had my whinge, just got to get on with it. I just hope my body can keep up with it all.
Jan I can understand your pain, we had similar issues with both the boys and it is horrendous to go through.
Lolpigs hopefully you see some improvement soon.
Nikky good to hear from you.
It's always super hot here but we just have aircons going 24/7 so it feels like spring instead lol.
Miss Abby is doing really well, we are pretty lucky this time round she seems so much more placid then the boys. She either has a feed and goes straight to sleep or is awake for an hour or two afterwards and I then pat her to sleep.
Jan, hopefully the meds will give her some relief soon and you can catch a break.
Nikky is right, it does eventually get easier even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
It's weird but I almost wish Alex would consent to being wrapped. He hates it with a passion, not only does he escape in 5 seconds flat but he squeals in outrage until he does. Not particularly keen on sheets or blankets either, kicks those off relatively quickly as well. Think I might need to invest in some more gro-bags
Last night wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, he slept from 4pm to 7pm (I got to eat my dinner while it was hot for a change) and then alternated between feeding as though half starved and laying on his mat kicking his legs and farting like crazy. This continued pretty well non-stop till about 10.30pm when he did a massive poo, got changed and had yet another feed before the batteries fell out and he crashed. Slept till nearly 3am
Tonight we're going to the in-laws for dinner as it's MIL's birthday. Should be fun as it'll be right on cluster-feed territory, but at least it's at MIL's house not out at a restaurant somewhere...
I ate a dish with chili in it last night, using realize until I had started. This afternoon Levi has been a bit chucky, unsettled and has to be held. I'm guessing it's reached my milk poor boy.
Hey girls, we were the same with a sleepless night lolpigs! Violet was awake wanting feeds all night... Sooo tired! Sound like you had a hard night, sorry to hear! Hope tonight is better! Have you tried gripe water? Also I'm SO buying one of those wraps!!! I know a baby store near me that sells them! Yay!!
Mollie, if you can't find the wrap anywhere, the store I'm getting mine from does online orders- its called "natures cradle" if you google it!
Had a poosplosion all over my bed this morning- so the sheets and quilt cover are on the line!!
Violet does the weirdest thing when feeding sometimes, ether when shes sick of feeding or has has or something, it's like this weird headbuttkng thing with her mouth open and she wriggles around likens and breaths really quick, it's quite strange!
Jan awwwww you poor thing! Hope the meds help... Geez you must be feeling so frustrated.. *hugs* I hope it doesn't last long... At least your little one has a lovely caring mummy who will keep trying to make her feel better... Your doing the best you can for her and that's the main thing! Is your DH okay btw?
