Haha you got owned that second timeSo funny
Alex just woke starving and upset from a 3.5hr nap. This weather sux
I hear ya Cranks!
Zoe got up at 7, drank then went back to bed till 10.30
Then had a drink, we went to shops...she had a snooze, we got home at 12.30 where she drank some more and went to bed until 4!
She had a drink at 4 and went back to bed at 5!!
Lillys teeth are acting up again, her afternoon nap was only 45mins after needing dummy for first time today. Super hate those teeth
Levi has been chomping on his hands big time. I think teeth are moving, lots and lots of drool lol.
Same with Aubree.. I cant seem to get her to keep her hands out of her mouth.. and the drool! OMG!!! time to get a bib out!
I think Jan felt out of place cos she's having alot of trouble with little Jessica, well I remember her saying so once of twice. If she reads this I hope she realizes how much she is missed and we don't mind her venting and would love to know she is alright.
I think there teeth can move around alot before they come through and Jaxon's old babysitter reckons that even after they have cut there teeth that they can get really sore until the tooth is in it's final place. Oh and how this, I was chatting to a lady about this the other day and she said one of her kids would get a respiratory infection every time a tooth was cutting through... poor kid!!

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry I've been missing. I'm really touched that you have been thinking of us. I have been feeling out of place here, you are right Danni. Jess with her reflux, colic and settling issues is very challenging. Everyday is different. Though most days it is very difficult to get her to nap for very long. And from 8pm to midnight she is usually awake and unsettled. Things have improved with the medication thankfully but many say it will be after 4 months that we may see any big change. Others say 6 months or 9 months. This is what has me worrying the most. It is such a long time!!! She is absolutely adorable and a delight. It has just been a hard road.
Tresillian are coming to my house on valentines day. I'm nervous about that. I worry that the reflux causes the issues and how would they change that? She is also worse in the afternoon and night when the nurse won't be here.
I'll try to catch up on the posts soon. I hope you are all doing well. Thanks again for caring xox
Ohhh Jan, so glad you were able to pop in! We were getting a lil worried
Seems things are really tough for you and I am so sorry hun
We really miss reading your posts in here, so please, when you can! pop in and let us know how Jess and you and the family are going!
WE MISS YOU gorgeous girl xxx
Sending you strong hugs and extra strength to get thru the next few months
Jan, thank you for popping in xx hope the medication and Tresillian give you some help/relief.
We are going on a road trip tomorrow, will be Levi's first big trip. It takes a maximum of 5mins to get anywhere here and the trips 3hrs there and 3hrs back. I can see he will be really out if sorts Friday.
Jan, glad to hear you and Jess are ok, if going through a tough and challenging time. Hopefully Tresillian can give you some practical assistance to get you through. Pop in whenever you feel able, we're always here to chat to, even if it's just blowing off steam
Have fun with the road trip AM, take plenty of breaks and hopefully he sleeps at decent part of the way for you.
Took a couple of pics of Alex in the big bath tonight, had to get DH to take them as he tries to roll over in there to drink the water the silly ratbag

Happy Australia day!
Hey janglad you are okay
really hope you get some good advice on V day... With regards to the nurse not being at your house when bubs is at her most unsettled- try keeping a diary for the next few weeks until V day with the details of her sleep patterns, periods of unsettled-ness etc and get the nurse to look it over? This journey can be very challenging and emotional - and you sound like you're doing the very, very best that any human possibly can, so good on you! I think I've said it before but Jess is very lucky to have such a caring mummy who does all she can to help her baby - you should be proud!
AM- the hypnosis, was it a one off session or multiple?
Nikky hahahhahaha little harriett is quite the clever little girl at beating mummy at her own game!! Hahaha I love it.
CK - awwwwwwwww!!! He's so CUTE!!!!!
Violet sucks her hands like crazy too! Looks like she's trying to fit her whole fist in!
Finalised my uni enrollment for this semester- (had deferred last year with being pregnant!) and I rely have no idea how I'm going to manage studying with violet! I do it externally, but she hardly has any day time sleeps so hopefully I get that sorted before the semester starts! It's funny how I used to manage to study while working fulltime yet can hardly imagine studying while not working but having a baby!
Hope everyone is keeping cool!

Glad to her your ok. Don't feel out of place hun! Lilly is still having issues. I'm glad they are coming to see you hopefully they can give you some practical soloutions. They might not be able to resolve the reflux and colic but can help with settling perhaps? My CHN didn't want to give us a referal to Tresillian for day sleep issues so I was not impressed. Told me to just keep trying for 6 weeks.. Going to ask my Dr about it next week.
Send me a PM anytime you want to talk.x
Guess who cut short his tummy-time this morning....by rolling from front to backAnd then looked up at me with the cheekiest "ha ha Mummy look what I just did" grin on his little face

Amanda, it was a few, I think it was 6 sessions. Started out talking and ended up he 'gave me a needle' with a small tip felt pen (so I could feel the pressure and had proof he had done it). I have been taugh how to self hypnotize but for other fears you get taught relaxation techniques.
Yay CK. Now watch him get around the house lol.
Abby I hope is having a growth or development leap ATM. She's regressed back to only 4hr stretches overnight, the last two nights have been feeding at 10pm, 2am then 6am.
Jan good to hear from you. I hope you get something out of your appointment. This child raising biz can be hard work and is really frustrating when you feel as though it's not enjoyable.
Feels like I need to breath real deep ATM, between the two boys there either fighting, or mum he's doing this, trashing each room they enter, did i menition i need to take another deep breath before i explode - meanwhile DH gets to go away for a 5 day holiday with a mate on his whole 5 days off and is now back at work. I mean seriously I get that he does 12 hour shifts and he isn't enjoying working with his new supervisor but bloody hell (please mind my language) my day isn't a walk in the park and a break would be nice every now and then. Ok vent over..
