Yes, I was using the nipple shields and expressing, and have been to a couple of lactation consultants too, but I don't have much milk either, I had her on for an hour the other night (both sides), and she screamed for another hour after that until I gave her formula, and she had the full bottle so she wouldn't have got much breast milk Also when I express, not much comes out either. I was really upset at first with not really being able to do it, but I find it easier everyday, and I feel less guilty with each day as well. I gave it a good go for 3 weeks. She also had jaundice and was in the special care nursery where they had to keep giving her formula to top her up as well, so we haven't really had much luck with breast feeding right from the start. But all that matters is she is healthy and happy, and she is both of those
