Thanks Dory, I've heard the performance has a longer body than the normal ones. I'm a shorty so wondering if it will be too long for me, or if that means the baby body part is longer so goes up higher towards bubs head? It is good that it doesn't allow baby to face out, that is really not a good position for baby for several reasons. Same with a bjorn carrier in general, even facing you they are not good for bubs as they support baby from the crotch and put pressure on their lower spine. I have been using my sleepywrap and mei tai a lot lately for walks, I turned a kanga (piece of fabric) into a ring sling and have used that as a hip carry, handy for a quick wear around the house. I think I'm going to be wearing Isaac a lot in winter, he is a great little heat pack! And he just loves looking at everything going on I feel a bit mean putting him in the pram now where he can only look at me. I still haven't bought a car so I walk everywhere so I use them a lot. Sorry for the rambling, anyway I am looking at investing in an Ergo.
