Junglemum and Ginger just worked out why you both seemed familiar, dd1 was due in sept 2007 but came in July instead so we were probably belly buddies all those years ago!

Cass, that sounds like an awesome night! And well done to your DH with his new book. What is his area of study?

G, the gym is worth a go, nothing to lose if it doesn't work out. I am sure you are allowed to go as a causal a few times before you get a membership. I think J would be fine with L there, you said they play together well.

Isadora, I promise it is going to get much easier soon - one day soon you will suddenly realise that it has become a reflex action.

Black_rose, did you have a different user name back in the day?

ILs arrived today. They are excited about the new baby as I knew they would be. Makes me feel even worse about my mum's crappy reaction (ewwww, why would you want another, don't you have your hands full enough etc)

Awwww Arte, that sucks your Mum reacted like that She has so many issues she needs to sort out. But I'm super happy that the IL's are happy for you all.

Cass, that is just awesomely fantastic news for him! I bet he is so happy with himself.

Well day 3 down LOL. My big boy turns double digits tomorrow too *sniff*.

Trill - Enjoy today, hope it isnt too emotional for you

Ginger, a member called black rose popped in last week and Arte and I haven't been able to place her...any ideas? Different user name then or do I just have a really bad memory?

It absolutely is right! Can you believe it? I actually cried about it today.
I have a great day planned for him. The boys are both looking forward to it.

A sounds like an absolute delight.

Isa - do what you feel comfy with sweetie, in time you will look back and giggle that it seemed such a big decision! check out the BFing blanket/capes for their features, you might do just as well with a light, breathable bunny rug or similar.

Ginger, go for it with the gym! If it doesn't work you might just need to try another place, kwim? I'm pretty happy just bouncing around like a lunatic to my own playlist on my rebounder for now, but I see the day coming when that gets old. I meant to go back to the stork-mark thread, thanks for reminding me.

Cass, I had a little proud moment for your DH when I read about his launch etc. Sounds like it was a fabulous event, kudos for getting famous historian to launch, and YAY for dressing up!

I'm a bit stumped as to whether I should know who black-rose is too?

Arte - you don't need your silly mum's approval when you've got all of us thrilled for you!!! BTW having kids didn't ruin her life, her ****ty attitude did. Glad A is gelling with the ILs so nicely. We're about to have an IL visit soon...bracing myself...kids are looking forward to it which is nice .

Trill, hope the birthday went off beautifully...BTDT with the double-digits, we're staring down the barrel of teenagerhood this year. . Time flies when you're having fun. Or not.

Ok wont bother with the breastfeeding blanket, managed to feed her just fine in public today with a bunny rug placed lightly on her head (not covering face), it was fine for her and allowed me to feel a little protected. DH said he couldnt see a thing

Yep well those DHs have got super-boobie-spotting vision, hehe, so sounds like that is a solution. Well done to you getting out and about even while you're still getting the hang of it all . Something to feel justifiably proud of!

Cass- maybe you and mp should start swapping houses in Vic and the act?!

Isa- I found if I get loads if feeds in during the day the nights were still ok, kinda like they needed a certain amount in 24 he's and if they got it they slept well but if I tried to space then out during a growth spurt in the day time I was up at night. Clearly not a one idea solves all but worked for me. yay for 6 weeks! You have done do well.

Trill- I'm not sure. I might hate it by then!! Will just play it by eat I think. They company have a school run by Aussie teachers which runs under the NSW curriculum. No pre school so they start at prep. I wouldn't have a problem sending the girls there education wise but it does concern me a little that the white kids are kind of the leaders of the packs. I don't necessarily want the kids to feel like they are 'special' or 'better' than anyone else ikywim? We will see how it pans out I think. No idea where we might end up after this. Not sure what the next step for dh career wise would be. I would like to go back to uni and work at some stage. One day!! I said I wouldn't go back until the kids were at school and that's still the plan ATM.

I am sewing curtains today. What a boring job!

I suppose JM that if anyone asked you two years ago if you thought you'd be where you are now you'd have looked at them like they were crazy LOL.

Cass, so does that mean we will have a 'Dr' in the house? A move back to canberra will be perfect! I will be able to come and see you!

H, don't forget that you've survived a growth spurt before with M, so you know it does pass, but it just seems like it is worse when you are BF and feeling like you have your boobs out all day.

Ginger- Payback for the dry shampoo is now complete. I have been a secret chook leaf fan for a while, did you know they are based in Mornington and there is a shop there??? Sorry!

Trill- I don't think i even knew where PNG was 2 years ago! I had a vague idea, but never thought i'd be where i am today.
