Trill, it wouldn't surprise me if the girl didn't know watermelon. We made burrito's at kindy and I was amazed at the amount of kids that didn't recognize capsicum etc (some didn't even know lettuce!!) but the teacher said it was very common. Although I don't know if my kids would know a watermelon - I don't like it and never buy it.
We got the kids Nerf guns for their birthdays (plus some parent ones ). They are only the bottom of the range ones that were on special for $10 but they have been great fun!

Cass, glad that L is getting better. I hope you have yourself pumped full of every pro-biotic/vitamin/folk remedy on the market to get yourself back to health.
