345 g all-purpose flour
6 g salt
4 g white sugar
10 g active dry yeast
dried or fresh herbs (def lots of fresh rosemary and some oregano and parsley usually)
1 g ground black pepper
15 ml olive oil
235 ml water
extra olive oil olive oil
Toppings - grated cheese, cherry tomatoes, spinach, capsicum, goats chese, smoked salmon - anything really Directions
Stir together the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, garlic powder, herbs and black pepper. Mix in the oil and water.
When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl, and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Punch dough down; place on greased baking sheet. Pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. add toppings.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm
