i hear you on the party overload! Leila went to the street xmas party crying (because she wanted to go but was tired), then sat on my hip the whole time, so decided that she was too tired and took her home only to have her cry once again that she didnt want to leave!

today was a bit of a sad day in that after 4 years, Leila had her very last ever kindy day . i cannot believe it! all her carers were quite emotional (as was I!) as they have followed her for those 4 years, so have known her and looked after her 2-3 days a week since she was 6 months old. such a strange feeling walking up to those doors to pick her up knowing that we won't do it again. i guess this is what seeing your kids growing up is all about really...just the beginning...
