So many posts to catch up on!

Arte, that's fantastic news you just have normal nobbly boobies . So what are the new glasses like? You'll have to post a pic on FB and show us. L's new ones have a black frame around the lenses and then the arms have black and red stripes on them - they make him look really grown up. He's never had a dark frame like that before and they really suit his big brown eyes. Did you get anything exciting on your shopping trip. I miss the days when I could take the kids christmas shopping with me and they would forget what I'd brought - even if they'd been playing with it in the trolley LOL. I hope W isn't too sad about his friend leaving. I imagine he'd be quite pragmatic about it though?

Cally, I had to LOL when you said he wasn't desperate enough to play for someone else. Cricket was such a big thing for him though so it must feel weird that he's not doing it this year. But the idea of doing more things like that is really nice. You're spoilt for choice down your way.

MD, do you feel like you have a better understanding of it all now? Being in a grey area would suck - it makes dr's tentative about what to suggest to help you but I hope your doctor is a bit more proactive and finds ways to help you. The clothes thing is tricky. I usually have a few *good* sets of clothes each season for when we go out somewhere, and then mostly just basic clothes (t's and shorts/skirts/dresses etc) for around the house. I can get away with them wearing things that are slightly too small and can get 2-3 seasons out of some things so I don't have to buy too much. But this year I've had to buy all of them a lot of clothes going into summer because they have all shot up/filled out. Is E partial to wearing dresses? target had some gorgeous little girls dresses for $12 I think in all sorts of colours and I buy them for P. They only go to a size 7 in this range, so I'm hoping that she doesn't grow too much over summer so she can wear them for one last year. They are really good in summer too when it's hot. With the kinder/preschool clothes - that's easy. our preschool has polo shirts so they have always worn that and then whatever bottoms to go with it. Maybe you could put her clothes out the night before so Dh doesn't have to worry about getting it wrong?

Cass, I loved the newborn period with the first 3 because the only 'obligation' we had was playgroup once a week so it didn't seem quite so chaotic, but with A, the poor kid was dragged from pillar to post and it was more chaotic that it had to be because of school and preschool etc. But it was all good.

Nothing terribly exciting happening here. P cut her leg open just above the knee on Sunday so that required a trip to town to get stitches. I had to call the closest hospital first (half hour away) to even find out if there was a doctor on call. Our local hospital is **** atm with doctors. One is the biggest ******* you'll ever lay eyes on and he refuses to work out of hours at the hospital, so if the others are rostered off then there is no doctor for the weekend. So luckily there was otherwise I'd have to drive 1hr away to the next hospital (the town where our GP is) which wouldn't have been a problem, but she was quite distressed about it so it was lucky that there was a dr on call. it was one of those ugly gashes that you wish you could un-see kwim? Worst thing is that her school was starting intensive swimming lessons for two weeks on Monday so she has had to miss the first week. And I have a toothache that is killing me with pain. It was the tooth I'd started having root therapy on and it flared up on Monday. So I saw the dentist on tuesday, he treated it, but as soon as the local wore off it was hurting like never before so I've been living on a diet of mush and painkillers since then. I have an appointment tonight though to get it sorted out properly. I would have the tooth pulled, except I've already had my wisdom tooth out and it was the next molar after that and being down the bottom you'd be able to see that I only had one molar on that side. So I really want to save the tooth.
