Just jumping in here to say hi.
I was due end of Oct but our little man came early at 34wks after my waters broke.
He's currently in the SCN but doing so well. Hoping he is home within the next 2wks.
Just thought I'd join in. My ds2 was born on the 17th September, 2 days past his due date, via a home water birth. So far we seem to be settling fairly well into a family of 4.
Sorry to hear your little one is in scn. Here's hoping he improves in leaps and bounds and can come home with you soon.
He's doing pretty good, we are having suck feeds now when he demands it & he latches on so well.
We just need for him to gain weight & be off tube feeds & hopefully he can come home!
T is doing really well, being 6wks early has not caused him any real issues which is great.
He's gaining weight really well, he's around 4kg now & is 8wks tomorrow.
My house is also a huge mess, between school, kinder, playgroup & looking after 4 kids i don't have time to keep up with the housework.
I just had a thought. Are you by chance wanting some 00000 clothes? I have a box full that were hardly worn. We had been told that I had iugr and that wills estimated weight was only 2kg so we bought premmie clothes and then he was a whipping 3.3kg! Lol. It's just sitting here going to waste. I could drop if off to you some stage next week OR I live not far from fountain gate if you are ever in the area.
Awesome! Just lemme know when suits for me to drop them off or if you are going to be near fg at any stage I live on the other side of the monash to fg.
On another note, I am feeling rather accomplished today. I have managed a shower and a load of washing and a load of dishes in the washer. Lets see if I can get the floor swept or clothes put away now the little man is sleeping......
