Urgh I remember that with kelti. She was so constipated that when she did poo, her little bumhole bled and she screamed like nothing I have ever heard before. It broke my heart. We had already gone through 6 different types, then ended up on goats milk formula - that was the best out of the lot. Poor little thing.

Hey Tams was going to ask how k was going on the new formula, that sucks it didn't work out. I don't know anything about formula but friends have suggested nan ha. Hope I got the name right!

Meanwhile AFM chloe got moved into her own room this weekend as DH is back to work and starts at 2am and wakes everyone up. Sooo sad and it's only been one shift haha. And as soon as he left i wheeled her into our room. I am waking up every hour or so to check she's breathing I am so so paranoid something will happen to her. Driving myself nuts!!! Going to chiro tomorrow, wish us luck! Anyone who's been before what do they actually do to bub? Something I hope, for $90 lol!

hi ladies, i have been reading but have been busy with doing stuff and getting ready for luke's birthday on thurs
argh i feel like crap....I hope it's just a 24hr thing as this morn, luke came thru to our bed and he was shivering but had a fever so gave him some panadol and heaps of cuddles. he fell asleep for an hr and then he got up saying he was going for a shower - next thing he threw up!! so chucked him in the shower, i cleaned up the vomit, chucked him back into bed with me and he slept til about 10 and seems to be a bit better. Now I feel like crap...headache, even tho i slept for 1.5hrs this arvo and feel like chucking - let's just hope i don't pass it onto Jack

AFM - well I think my BF time is up. I am having mixed emotions about it so please be gentle. I have been expressing and genereally only get 60ml from each boob once a day now

Bit traumatised today... Eden is 3weeks old. Went to visit my grandma today with my mum and my husband. Mum bought macca's for lunch. Mum was holding Eden while I ate lunch and she was crying coz she was hungry. Mum put her finger in her mouth to try and calm her, but Eden spat it out coz obviously mums finger is not a nipple. So mum gets a fry (chip) and goes to put it in her mouth
it didn't actually go in her mouth, but it did touch her lip. I said "uh uh" and was ignored so I said more firmly "no!" Husband said rather forcefully "Rhianon will take her off you!" I was amost in tears but held back and took Eden back anyway and fed her.
About 2hrs later I get a MSG from my sister saying mum was in tear because how harshly she was spoken to and that she was told that I'll never let her see Eden again.
I'm sorry. My daughter is 3 weeks old, take all food away from her!

Jeez scone, you let her off lightly - I would have slapped her!!!!! I nearly went off at the gym day care lady when she got a teething rusk and gave it to Eden when she was 5 months old - we do BLS so she hadn't eaten anything - and I didn't supply the bloody rusk in the first place, it belonged to some other kid!! I was furious, so I can only imagine how angry you are.
Kylz - I don't think any of us will judge you or anything lovely, god, look at all my previous bfeeding history! LOL... I cast no judgement upon anyone for the way that they parent, cos crikey, I've probably done wayyyyy worse.. lol Be gentle on yourself ok?
Iona - I hope you feel better soon
EM - we moved the basinette into our walk through robe today - sick of the kids waking her up, our house is so tiny, all noises go straight through to our bedroom. So its probably strange that our child is nearly in a bathroom to sleep.. haha!!! As for the chiro, I've taken every child to see one (so far, will be booking S in for a session soon) and they do slight adjustments on them, and just basically check that they are not out of whack from the birth and stuff. Both of my section kids had bad necks from being ripped out with forceps. Eden went for her reflux issues.

oh kylz - hugs sweety....don't think bad of not breastfeeding, you are doing what is best for you and jayden and remember we are not going to judge you in anyway. we love u mwah xoxox
