Yay Jaki that's awesome! What a great night you had.
Glad the move is over Ferrals, hope all settles down soon
Re AF, last time I got mine back at about 6 weeks and it was really light, it was irregular for the first few cycles and then went back to 'normal'... I felt totally ripped off, was exclusively BF and I got it 2 weeks after the PP bleeding stopped, was hoping for a few months!
Iona, I hear you on the 9lb thing, all of my cute 0000 stuff has never been worn, I have never had a small baby!
I'm wondering if I can join in with this group. I should be in the earlier March group but no one seems to be posting there. My bub was born on 9th March so he is 5 weeks old now.
DS is a good baby apart from our feeding issues. He doesn't really cry except when hungry but does have a grizzly patch in the late afternoon where I can't do anything to settle him. He smiles regularly now and loves his baths. We are doing a bit of tummy time each day which he isn't impressed with but he has begun to rock his hips a bit which is exciting as he is gearing to eventually roll.
At the moment I am expressing every 3-4 hours around the clock and attempting to BF and when this doesn't work out offering him an EBM bottle. We are working with LCs to try and sort this out. We also have an osteo appointment next week so I'm crossing my fingers that this is helpful. Needless to say I am pretty tired as I'm sure most of you are. I'm not sure how to find the time to sleep during the day as I probably get about 1.5 hours in between feed and express intervals.
Hi everyone - sorry haven't been posting, I want to do persies but it takes me forever to type on my phone and I never seem to get time on my laptop. I'll try tonight when the kids are in bed. Love to all!!
Sorry no time for persies. I just wanted to ask Kylz how you went with the SMA? K has now been on it a week.. The first 24 hours he feed every 3hours... but now he is quite content and still has very little gas. : ) Just thought I would check in.
Jaki-I am waiting on my new avi too it has been changed to Ella in my arms and Abbi's angel is a star looking over us.
Lisa-welcome our Ella is also an march IVF miracle.
Tams- when K was windy was he a screamer or just wouldnt settle Ella just seems to moan and groan and wakes her self up she drinks her bottle and burps easy but maybe one bottle a day she plays up and whinges if she didnt burp real good the bottle before and at night she drinks her bottle and i put her back down to sleep and she moans and groans for half an hour until she falls asleep the nurse seems to think she is just overfull and and uncomfortable until her belly digests the milk.
Jaki- I am jealous Ella will go 5 hours during the day but only 4 at most during the night.
AFM-Ella has been grissly this arvo she had a 2 hour wakeful period had some tummy time and was real happy i think she got over tired and cranky so i bathed her (she loved it today) then put her down to bed and all i can hear through the monitor is whining in her sleep.
Anyone else have a noisy moaner/groaner sleeper?
One more thing who is back to DTD we are which is fantastic but today DH forgot to pull out i think he got to use to me being pregnant and we are not using any protection yet i want DH to get the snip.
I do not want anymore kids and now have to worry about getting pregnant 4 weeks after having Ella WTF!!! not what i need right now.
