Naomi- Yes logic does go out the window sometimes. Its all about trial and error too. Growth spurts can make them unhappy.

BG: Yes - that's the post-sneeze sigh! So cute
Yeah, probably best to book the shots for when you can chill out. I know that after Natty had her shots she was fine but I was a mess! I will make our appointment for just over a week. Not looking forward to it. I'm due for a pap smear as well - joy.
Bridg: Sorry for your crappy afternoon. I'm glad your DH was able to give you a bit of a break. Hope your evening improved.
Naomi: Great that Bailey settled for your DH. And awesome that he finishes work in time for arsenic hour! Sometimes there just is no logic to a baby crying, I reckon. Its just an emotional or instinctive thing. I've heard babies sometimes cry in order to wind down, LOL! Its anyone's guess really.
I'm keen to peg out my washing but Phoebe has other ideas. She's napping on my chest. Every time I lie her down she wakes. Her nose is very blocked. She sneezed before and I would never have believed so much green snot could fit in such a tiny nose! I have fessed her a couple of times but no use. Ah well. I should enjoy the tiny baby cuddles while I can I suppose!

Ah, I hear the dulcet tones of my baby... Must away. xx
Hi girls, I've been a bit MIA lately. I got to see my sister lots and lots while she was here and I already miss her so much now that she has flown back to the UK. Good thing she's coming back for Christmas and she's bringing her boyfriend too so it'll be good to meet him. My sister absolutely adores Kyson, which is amazing considering she's never been a maternal person, and she has no desire to ever have kids of her own. And yet she loved holding him and cuddling him. It was so cute!
We had our 2 month check up with the MCH nurse on thursday and Kyson has put on just under a kg in the last 4 weeks. So he's sticking with his half-a-kg-a-fortnight trend stillHe's now about 6kg and I'm thinking he may even need to start wearing the 00 clothing he has soon. Hmmm, I just bought some more 000 tshirts for him a target that are still on the hanger, but I've already pulled the barcode tags off them. Do you think that Target would still let me exchange them for the next size up? Or am I out of luck?
I was starting to get a little sad that a lot of your babies were sleeping longish stretches through the night, and Kyson was still feeding 3 hourly, even at night. But guess what? Last night and the night before he did a 7 hour stretch between feeds both nights! It was amazing. I actually started to get a little worried the first night and wondered if I should wake him up to feed. But he seemed to be sleeping quite contently so I left him. He didn't even seem ravenous when he finally woke for his feed. Let's hope it's a new trend for him and that he keeps it up!
Oh, looks like he's stirring for a feed now. Hopefully I get back for some persies soon!![]()
