Hi girls! Just popping in quickly.
Had a fab weekend, all of the rellos absolutely adored Allira, and Lachie was a star.
Glad to be home, but not so glad to have all this washing to do.
Allira was just as good as always and even Lachie was FANTASTIC! He usually struggles a little when he's away and in a different cot.

    Anyway... I'll pop back later.

Nicky- Glad to hear u had a good weekend, and the kids behaved for u.

AFU, I finally got Logan settled at about 1-2am this morning, and I was desperate for sleep, so I put him in bed with me, and he slept til 8.15am!! He then slept til 11.15am. At both feeds, he scoffed down the 80mls that I made up.

    Hi Guys,

I am buggered, have cleaned my house from top to bottom today, got sick of cleaning it in 'bits'
Krystie - good to hear you had such a great time while your sister was here! Its so special that she was able to come before Kyson got too big. His photo shoot is divine, such a beautiful boy! I cant wait to get our professional pics back

Niadla - Glad you had a nice weekend away I bet you needed it with your two little ones keeping you busy

Bridg - are you still a bit sleep deprived after Logans late night? I think I told you a while back that my Brother and SIL (and 2 DD) live in Shepparton, and they bought Bailey his own little ceramic Shepparton Cow when they came over to visit LOL. We have some funny photo's of us and our hijinks with the spiderman cow from a few xmas's ago when we went over. The cows around town crack me up!! BG you would LOVE all the Cows in Shep!!

Bella - as Amy said, great to hear from you and look forward to updates on you and J when you have time!

Amy - hows Phoebe going? Did that washing ever get hung out LOL. How's Phoebe's sleeping going, are you getting a little more yourself?

Jacinta - I saw your little video on facebook, I cant believe Jamie can lift and hold his head so well. Bailey is so lazy LOL. I know I have to give him more time to do stuff like that seeing he was a bit early but I cant wait for him to do the same!

Well I am buggered after my cleaning frenzy, off to bed. DH is making me breakfast in bed tomorrow then we are going out for lunch for my birthday so I am hoping for a good nights sleep from the little guy. Cant believe I am gonna be 35 - crikey!!

    Happy Birthday Naomi!

Well my mum has gone home (so should have more time to post) and now I am sick (typical) - terrible pain in my right side low down near my c-section scar and had the shivers and then sweats all last night. Been to the docs says have some sort of infection and given me antibiotics (ok for bf) and says if gets worse or not gone by Friday to go back as could be my appendix! Please please do not let it be my appendix, and the antibiotics sort it out.

CJ has been on a feeding frenzy the past couple of days - not sure if maybe my milk supply is down because feeling ill or is just a growth spurt. We seem to have been lucky if last 2 hours between feeds (although she is still sleeping for long stretches around 5 hours overnight) - sometimes I wonder if she is like me and decides she wants to eat when bored, or if she has wind she thinks the best cure is more milk. Anyway I hope she gets over it soon because is very draining when you don't feel to good.

Oh Vic, how awful! I will pray that it's not your appendix and that the ABs clear everything up quick smart. I can't imagine feeling sick on top of this drugged-out tiredness.

Naomi, can't believe you cleaned the whole house, LOL! I feel like that's such an insurmountable task... Go, girl!
Phoebe's sleeping habits haven't changed much, except that she's more wakeful during the day now, and doesn't want to sleep in her bed But I'm getting a smile here and there now which is very special! Am trying to work out how to get her into bed earlier.

Really struggling with Natty's behaviour atm. She just doesn't want to do anything we ask her and it is REALLY stretching my patience. I'm trying not to get her into trouble about it but use distraction and shameless bribery in the hope that she'll be more compliant, LOL. It's hard to think of distractions when I'm tired. Natty is also getting bolder with Phoebe and I have to watch her like a hawk all the time now. I feel like there's nowhere I can put Phoebe where she'll be safe except for wearing her. Natty now lies on top of her, pulls her arms or legs, hits her, leans on her... Sometimes I think it is all to rile me up rather than just innocent play. It's getting tricky.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

happy birthday Naomi - hope you have a fantastic day hun!

Vic - it's completely normal for a feeding frenzy about now (apparently!) - the LC i was dealing with at the hospital called me when E was just short of three weeks and i said she was feeding heaps - she said it is normal for a huge feeding frenzy around three weeks, and again around 5-6 weeks (so it might get worse yet). apparently it's the baby increasing your milk supply for a growth spurt. E has upped her feeding now as well - was sitting with DH waiting for an appointment yesterday - and in 2.5 hours (ish) she fed three times - we then went to shops, changed her nappy and she fed again - drove about 50 k's and she was wanting to feed again. i worked it out on the way home - she fed 7times in 8hours! they weren't huge feeds like her night time feed - just regular "i'm gonna make your ears hurt if you don't feed me!" feeds... i think week five or six is also a wonder week - heaps of developmental milestones and growth spurt, so it makes sense. just wish it wasn't so uncomfy on the boobs! E fusses heaps - on and off for the whole time - not sure why though unless it stimulates things more (or she's really not that hungry and is just feeding to boost supply... not sure)

hope the infection clears up soon for you

hi to everyone else - have been a little quiet lately - just very tired and very busy as DH is home. he's leaving again tonight so i'm sure i'll be back in a couple of days! had a bit of a win on the horses the other day (trifecta with horse names that related to E - what a fluke!) so tomorrow i'm dragging mum to the shops to buy the rest of the non perishable foods for the baptism. hopefully i can do it on a budget still, seeing somehow DH managed to kill both his beloved coffee machine (which i replaced yesterday) AND the food processor (which we only found out last night - i'm devastated!) in the past week. that man is hopeless! think i'm frustrated cos he killed the food processor grinding coffee beans - so it's all related! turd of a man!
