Hey All,
Wow what a bunch of sickies we are (kids and us). Still feel crap and havnt been able to smell or taste since Sunday if that helps to explain how congested I am! Sleep is non-existant, as my kidneys/ribs are in agony if I lay on my sides and for obvious reasons I cant lay on my tummy or back:rolleyes: Thanks for all the congrats, I had a feeling I would have PGD this time for some reason? Maybe cause the doc put a bit of fear into me cause B was big. Have to start getting my hours up with driving now, gosh I was so nervous with the computer test, imagine what I will be like with the driving test! LOL!
Ummm as for TT, Beau did a wee in the potty two days ago but nothing since, once I can bend down to clean wee off the floor without crushing my brain/sinus I will get back on it!
Dis-Oh my goodness, poor Ben with croup! And wanting you to make it stop, how heartbreaking for you. How is Jared now too? What were his mystery illness symtoms?You sounds motivated with your intimates parties, good on you! Hope the other three work out for you too!
Mel- Olivia sounds like she is doing so well with TT. How are you feeling? You must still be a bit tired/over it if Bec has a bad cold too. Just one thing after another huh? Ah DH will pay dearly if you O this weekend!!! Mmm mince, bolognaise, lasagne, taco's, meatballs?
Anyway, DH bought me heaps of chocolate on Tuesday, but I cant taste it so there is no point eating it - have you ever heard anything more depressing in your life????

Send the chocolate my way....I made chilli con carne and it was really good. Dh wants to sway properly so no shaggin! I got another negative opk today so thats it. We will now have to wait, but will skip next month coz if we did fall the poor kid would be due around every ones birthday! Anyway, I am preparing for a weekend alone:(

Urgh, I'm crook! Had a migraine this afternoon - thankfully Jared let me sleep for two hours and that mostly did the trick. I'll have to leave it there though, I don't want to set it off again by being on the computer for a long time!

Ohh i got my way with dh:D thank the lord for wiggles dvd....well he has gone for 3 nights.....i hate being alone and teared up on his departure...should be used to it by now! Now what to do for the next few days...I really love hanging out with him

Oh Mel I hear you, I HATE being on my own with Beau on the weekend, makes it seem like one long fortnight with no break! Especially when you have good times with your DH on the weekend (as we do too) - hope you spoil yourself while he is gone.
Dis- Hope your migraine clears up, can you take Nuerofen seeing as though you are bfing Jared still?
Us- Beau just had a lovely time with some buckets of water outside but is napping now, we mowed the lawn and swept up and mopped the floors this morning cause I am sick of sickness! Still am clogged up and cant taste anything but I feel I am improving, Hey question, Beau has been coming in of a night a few times saying "HI!!" and I am putting him back in bed, but then in the morning saying the blue robot woke him up and is hiding in his room behind his baskets (toys) etc and is scary. Isnt he too young for all this yet? Poor little lamb! I say mummy and daddy chased him away or squashed him!:D Anyone else having vivid nightmares like this?

Sorry I have been MIA. Not in a happy place right now and sooo don't feel like whining to you all like I usually do. Just working and kids for me, same old same old...
You'll be happy to know I finally took myself off to the dr today. Though she wasn't so helpful :(. She asked me about going on AD's right away, without really even asking any q's as to why I am feeling so low or anything. And this is my gp I've had since I was tiny. She seemed to me to want to take the quick and easy way out. I told her I didn't want to go onto AD's if I could help it and what else I could do before I went to them. She said since I had a blood test recently and everything was ok that it's unlikely to be anything physical. Then she kinda sighed and told me I could try to do it naturally. I said I would rather try that before medicating myself and maybe some counselling or something. So I am on some multivitamins +B and have instructions to try to sleep more (yeah if only it was so easy), take time out for me :rolleyes: (ya think???), exercise 3-4 times a week, eat well....yada yada...so I will try this for a few weeks then she said we could do up a mental health plan if it doesn't work. Personally I think a mental health plan in conjunction with all that would have been a good idea, but hey I'm not the doctor, right? Then I could see a psycologist or counsellor or something (On medicare, can't afford it otherwise :( ) Anyhow, that's where I'm at at the mo. Fun fun. Not.

Jen - Wow - what a time you've had - sorry to hear you've been so sick. Huge congrats on gettnig your L's though!!! Yeah!!!!! Yeah also on not having diabetes - what a relief!! Sounds like you've had a full on time socially - can be fun and draining at the same time!!
LOl at not tasting chocolate - I hate that!! If there's ever a time when you need more comfort it's when you're sick and you can't even indulge in choccy! You poor thing...
Poor Beau and his nightmare...umm..Dylan often comes in and if I ask him if it was a bad dream he'll say yes but can't give any descriptions of anything. I did read that it's best to just say everythings ok it was just a dream so they don't think that whatever is in their dream is real iykwim?? If you or dh chase it away then it might be something that can really be in his room??? Not sure if that makes any sense or not...hopefully he settles down soon!
All you can do is try your best with the bfeeding...try not to put too much pressure on yourself - and make sure before you leave the hospital that the nurses have helped or got you in touch with someone that can help as soon as you get home...xo
Iona - Sorry to hear poor Luke has been so sick...hope all the dust has settled along with with sickness!!!
Mel - You poor thing having Becca up half the night - omg - that would do my head in!!! Yeah on Olivia doing well with TT albeit it with no undies - LOL!! Nup - not doing night training - won't bother for ages with Dylan - he drinks water all night long and has a soaking nappy in the morning...
It's not surprising to hear you had a meltdown with all that lack of sleep you had - good luck this month TTC!!!
Big hugs having a weekend on your own - I had a cry on Thursday night - over a lot of stuff and for once he said all the right things and it actually made me feel much better - LOL!!
Sometimes I think it's worse when it seems to that they're away a lot more than usual...I know with Michael he's worked the last 2 weekends both days and then through the week after work also and then 4 days away!!!! I so need a break from the kids - they haven't been naughty or anything - if anything they've been really quite good at giving me a bit of space - then I feel guilty though...Oh well - he'll be home tomorrow and things might go back to normal a little...
We must catch up soon!! What days are you free?? - I'd love to have you and the girls around or if you'd prefer for us to head to your house??
Kel - Poor Lily having an ear infection - hope she's all better now!!

Disgirl - So sorry to hear the kids have been unwell and poor Ben with Croup...it's not nice to see them so sick...even harder not to be able to fix it easily! Did he have prednisoline (or something like that??) It's so distressing for them not to be able to breathe properly...
Hope your all on the mend now - bugger having a migraine -there's nothing worse!

As for us...Louis turned 4 and had his b'day party!!! It was so great to see him so excited!! He had a great time!
Dylan's well! He's talking so much better at the moment - I really think the reading eggs website is helping him become a lot clearer. He's also learning lots of letters as well! He's such a gorgeous boy - so cheeky - but also very affectionate!!
Ethans well - he's nearly walking!! I've weaned down to only his morning bfeed which is nice as well...I'll completely finish up in a few weeks and then have 4 months off before I start all over again - LOL!
Love my boys though...they really are so gorgeous - very caring and generous!! Even though I'm feeling I need a break it's more just for my own head space...I just need to refuel so I can give them enough energy and attention - at the moment it's been pretty dismal in the fun factor in our home...I'm going to take them to the park tomorrow though - I think they need to use up some energy after being at home for the weekend!
I've been pretty lethargic - need to get going with some walks or something or I'm going to end up putting on 100kg...LOL! Feeling ok though...a few little pops here and there - I think this has by far been my quietest baby though...I'll have my scan on the 6th nov so am very excited to find out the gender!! Lots of people think it will be a girl and I must say I've had a few dreams now that have indicated a girl as well but I'm still expecting a boy really! LOL!

Hiya girls,
Well today has been a super lazy day for me. I had a day off work today because mum was supposed to go to a funeral today and could'nt look after Liam. So I took the day off. Turns out DH got the day off too cause he worked overtime yesterday and wasn't allowed to work a full shift again in such a short time frame. The this morning the occaisional care where the kids go called me and said there was room for both of the kids that afternoon. So I booked them in. DH let me have a BIG sleep in- slept til 9.45am, I can't remember the last time I slept that late! Pre kids for sure!! We took the kids to childcare for 4 hours, had lunch out (and spent more money we shouldn't have!!), came home had some 'us' time, watched a movie and just chatted for that time. It was so lovely, but the 4hrs was up waaayyy too quickly. I could so do a day and night away from the kids now! I used to fret about them when they were smaller, but now I think I ouwld manage ;) Now I'm sitting here having a yummy wine and thinking about a cool bath (it's been 30deg today). So that was my beautiful lovely relaxing day with my man! Wish we could do it more often and for longer....but baby steps I guess!

Wow its hot here today! Went back to the doctor last night, he didnt want to prescribe more antibiotics cause of the bubs, but he wanted me to come in cause there was something strange on my urine test, a "cast" in my kidneys? Dont know what it all means really but he wants me to have more tests when the bub is about 6months...as for the bronchitis, just have to wait it out, he said about 10 more days for my ears and nose to clear and get my taste back.....Oh dear.
Beau has just been so gorgeous lately, changing every day and coming out with new things, SO affectionate and kissy, he cracks me up, today at the shops instead of asking for a "chino" he asks for a "white chocolate mocha" - ah ha ha!!! Just like mum!We started stripping the wallpaper in the new bubs room on the weekend and got about a metre into it and DH rang and ordered new gyprock sheeting for the whole room to go straight over it!!! So impatient! Beau and I painted some of the kitchen yesterday, he had paint in his hair, all over his body, he was loving it.....until I tried washing it out on the front lawn with the hose!
Kel -Sounds like you had a brilliant day with your Dh yesterday! Good on you guys! What is your DH's opinion on what the doc had to say? I think do whatever you feel is right, if you can realistically do all those things she mentioned go for it, if not I would consider the meds too, if you dont get anywhere in a couple of weeks IYKWIM? You worried me a few weeks ago when you said you cant remember the last time you were fun/lighthearted/free spirited etc? I know it all gets crap sometimes but it shouldnt be a feeling permanent you know?
Kris- Thanks for your advice on Beau and his nightmares, he is still on about it a week later, but hasnt come in to our room since so it mustnt be re-occurring. Happy Birthday Louis!!!! yay, I bet he was very spoilt!!! Good on you weaning Ethan, give your poor boobs a bit of a break. :D Cant wait to find out the sex of the bub, you better get on here on the 6th and post! Dont blame you needing a bit of a break (although I am sure you are still doing heaps for the boys) I am craving just going to the art gallery and wandering around on my own. Funny the things you miss when you cant to them anymore.

Had my hospital appt yesterday - was great to hear bubbas heartbeat and the boys were great! Had a trying morning though and then after the appt got home and dh was in the foulest mood - I ended up getting upset but we had a good chat (and he gave me lots of apologies today which was nice!!)
Today we headed to the Botanic gardens and I met up with a couple of girls from my baby buddies group for Ethan. Was so nice, although I got lost and parked in the wrong spot but got there in the end (after a huge walk!!) I'm so buggered!!

It's been quiet in here. Hope you're all well.
I've been busy getting my business set up and getting ready for our trip to Qld - we leave on Sunday!!!! I have my first presentation on the day we get back! I know, I'm a bit crazy, but it's the way that it had to be, and we get home at the crack of dawn anyway so it shouldn't be too bad. It just means I have to have everything completely ready before we go. Luckily, when I went to view a presentation as a part of my training last weekend (optional, but I want to learn as much as I can), my MIL and SIL dropped in and as well as helping DH with the boys, they cleaned my house!!!! I was so excited when I got home :lol: My SIL called me later to see if I was okay with it - she thought I might be upset. I told her she could do it anytime and I'd even give her own set of house keys if she wanted them :lol: I'm talking about washed floors, all laundry washed and folded - the works!!! It was lovely to come home to an entirely clean house. I was expecting to come home to screaming, upset children and a pigsty and came home to a clean house and happy, laughing children. I should go out more often!!!!
The boys have been a mixed bag of late. Jared is no better at night. Still waking at least once in the middle of the night and usually an early start too :( Sometimes it's three or four times that I'm up and down. Ben has been great though, now that the croup is well gone. He's such a chatterbox and the stuff he comes out with is unbelievable. I asked him if he was ready for bed the other night and he said "Definitely not!". He's also tried asking the dog and Jared to "Apologise please!" :lol: When I asked him what book he wanted me to read him last night he told me "The Daddy Book, Reading Makes You Feel Good and The Magic Hat.... That's THREE books mummy!" How could I refuse to read all of them after that?!?! :lol:

Me- all good. Massage was ace, girls have been good...bar the sleep. Bec is 1 next month! Olivia is a champ...she looks so much like me when i was her age! Rebecca looks like her dad. Just waiting for af....unless i am utd....lets see over the next few days.....well better go. Bec is quite capable now of getting down steps backwards...shes on the deck and will soon be out on the grass....wouldnt be an issue if we had nice grass and not pr#ckly weeds!

Mel, I'm starting Intimo. It's so awesome, they have totally made it easy for me. I love the company and the product. I have a new goal of being able to put Ben through Montessori for pre-school, which we decided was too expensive for us, so I have something to aim for :)
Bec is almost one?!?!?! Far out time is flying!
Both of my boys look like their dad. Ben is IDENTICAL to his father at this age. It's bit ridiculous actually. Jared looks more like Craig's brother (which gets a few jokes in the family), but every single time we are out in public, complete strangers tell DH that there's no denying the boys are his :lol:

Jared and I went to visit my Aunt in hospital today. She's had surgery for bowel cancer, but seems quite well and in very good spirits. Jared charmed everybody we passed. He has such a cheeky, infectious smile :D

My power cord on my laptop is stuffed so I am on battery power so I will be brief!
Dis- Good on you trying to put Ben through Montessori. Good luck with it. Babies/kids have such a great way of cheering up sick people without saying a word:D About 20% taste for me, and if I smell ciggerette smoke (at the shops for example) it doesnt smell like smoke but burning plastic? Something not right there.
Mel -Massage sounds amazing I am so jealous! No date yet, not till 35-36 weeks do they set it. I have a ultrasound at 35 weeks then the 36th week see the registrar and set it then. Bit anxious,
Us- We are ok, Beau is very cry-y - clingy at the moment, I think its from all the time at home what with bad weather and me being sick. He needs to go crazy somewhere! We went to playgroup this morning and he was even crying there. Halfway through the gyprocking of the bubs room, DH is going away on a fishing charter on Saturday so it will have to wait for the weekend after - I am anxious about that too!
Bub seems to have gone up a bit so I am sleeping better and not weeing as much and a bit happier!

Oh and Beau dod two wee's and a poo on the potty this morning, one of the wees he told me about after he did it!!!! Yay yay yay yay! Just need to keep the warmer weather so he can have no nappy on all the time and but him some undies:D

What a week! We had a huge day at Fairy park but it was fantastic!! We all had a ball - was so nice to go out as a family after such a hectic month! The boys have had swimming and Michael and I went out for dinner last night...was going to catch a movie as well but the times were all wrong - we got a free double pass though so will go again another time!
Boys are all well - I can't believe Ethan will be 1 next week - omg!!
We're getting super excited for halloween on Sat! Louis and Dylan have an "incredibles" outfit each and Michael's going to take them trick or treating. meanwhile we'll decorate the outside of the house with cobwebs and bats etc for the kids coming along! Then Sunday we're off to Bonnie doon until Tuesday! The weathers meant to be great so looks like a swim in their new pool will be in order!!! Apparently they have some chickens now as well so the boys will ove that!
We have had some great news as well - Michael is getting pay rise in the new year - 10k!!!! OMG - so fantastic - just what we'll need with another mouth to feed - LOL!!!! Will definitely take a bit of pressure off...
As for me...bubs is still super quiet - can't wait for my scan next week...am getting excited for another boy as well as the thought it might be a girl - either way - I can't lose!!!! Just hoping for a healthy bubs!!
