Yeah...I feel nauseous again tonight and soo tired (but then it was a FULL on day - out from 9-5 pretty much and emotionally draining) so I kind of feel p/g...
In fact...I'm off to bed...
Chat later!
P.S Hope everyone else is well - sorry for crapping on about it all at the moment...
Hey All,
Kris I hope everything goes well with your blood test, as the girls have said bleeding is really common, but it doesnt help how you are feeling. Hope you get some re-assurance soon. So much for 'crapping on', first its not crap and second, that what we are here for!
Dis - How funny, I have never any money but when I do the first thing I do is buy flowers to cheer myself up! Must be on my own there...hope things pick up for your DH. WHat a busy week you have, will have to get the Incredibles out and see if B likes it too.
Us - Having a really down day again and Beau saying "Mummy cry" and he starts! DH texted me to say he is going on a golf weekend in September. When will I ever get to do something fun?
Hi Mel and Kel and Kaz x
Hi...
Thanks Jen! Sorry to hear your having a down day...I think you should definitely give yourself a break before bubs arrives!!
Ooh flowers sound nice - I might have to buy myself a bunch when I do the shopping! LOL!
Went and had my bt this morning - will have intitial results tomorrow and then I'll go and get another lot done on thursday...
I moved my scan forward to so it's next Fri so I don't have to wait the whole following weekend!
Bleeding again today though...
Boys are going well considering I'm in la la land! Did I mention Dylans pretty much dropped his day sleeps??? He' s soooo feral!! He slept in the car yesterday cos we were out and about - he's so tired but just stuffs around so much through the day - gets up 100 times so I just give in - I don't have the energy to battle him at the moment...he's just having lunch now so I'll try soon but can't be bothered with a fight...
Ok...chat later !
Kris...I hope the bleeding settles soon for you. Olivia has not been sleeping during the day for ages. At first it was a nightmare coz she was so ferral, but now shes fine. I remember her falling asleep at the dinner table quite a few times.
Good luck with your blood test.
Jen- get some time to yourself before the next one comes...it gets much harder to do so when number 2 comes along. Ben sounds so in tough with his and your emotions.
Us...we are all good. Nothing to report...just checking up on Kris
Hi girls,
I am around, just really busy. Working extra hours and stuff.
Kris, I am so sorry you have to go through this. It is so stressful and scarey. BIG, BIG, BIG:hug::hug: hun. The HCG monitoring will be conclusive, though you do have to wait to have consecutive tests.
We are well. Lily's sleeping is back to 'normal' with her waking once or twice. I know the sleeping through was too good to be true! Liam is sleeping pretty average lately too. I am trying not to feed him though the night to get him night weaned, or at least down to one or two feeds a night. He did really well last night and didn't 'demand' to be fed until 4.45 this morning, yay! But he still woke about 3-4 times :( He just wakes and nuzzles me, I shove the dummy in and he rolls and wriggles for about 15mins then goes back to sleep, usually on top of me... We are putting him in his cot soon, in August, DH and I both have a few days off, so no more cosleeping, and we're going to try to get Lily to stay in her own bed too...it will be a long few days!
My resolve to lose weight has been boosted again after a terrible week. Going to the gym this morning. I went last week too. Only one day a week at the mo, it's all I can afford, but better than nothing! I'd love a membership, but can't really afford it. I'm trying to convince DH that it's more worth it, lol!
Ok gotta go, kids going psyco....
Hi!
Mel - Yeah...ferals an understatement! LOL! He ended in our bed last night - he's just learnt (finally) to open our doors so is doing so as often as possible. I haven't had him sleep with us without being sick - ever! Anyway...dh carried him back to his own bed about 5am this morning...
Hope the girls are good and your going well with your weight loss!! I'm so impressed with how well you've been doing!
Kel - Thanks! First lot of results today and then I'll go in tomorrow - I just want to know what's happening before the weekend...
Sounds like it will be a great idea to try and cut out the co-sleeping - for your own sanity - LOL! A couple of days while your dh is home sounds like the perfect time...
What a bugger working so much this week - Yeah at going to the gym though!!! Might be worth checking out memberships - I know my gym costs like $14 a casual class or $17.50 a week membership - CRAZY!! It's really only the creche that makes it expensive for us...another $10 a lesson so I was going to go at night (although that's out the window at the moment - LOL!)
As for me...not sure what today will bring...I had bad cramps last night tidying up the house and really expected to see more blood but just still the same amount - it's definitely not getting worse anyway...
I still feel p/g - am off my food and have woken up with a nice big pimple on my cheek this morning - LOL - although could be from the junk food I'm eating...This waiting is doing my head in that's for sure...I'm still sick - this cold is really lingering...but really all of these things could have nothing to do with pregnancy and just be linked with the stress...?
I'll let you know when I get my bt results - not that I suppose it will give me much info today with only the first number...
Hope your all well! Chat later!
Hi! Me again....LOL!
Just heard back from the dr and my hcg levels are over 5000 which is right for about 5-6w p/g...so we will wait and see what happens Fri and see if they're doubling...
It's probably starting to look a little more positive although I'm still very anxious - also feeling quite nauseous today so I suppose that is a good sign as well - LOL! ...
Just battled Dylan to bed - was happy I won though - he's such a difficult little boys sometimes - soooo stubborn!!! I've really had to rethink how I discipline him - He was really good a few weeks ago and then we let it slide but I really need to get on top of it again as it's really difficult when he's so feral....the joys hey? LOL! I love them all to bits though...hehe.
Hope you're all well!
Chat later!
 YAY, Kris, that's great news!! It must be a bit of a weight lifted! But I completely understand the apprehension. I hope it's still all good by the weekend. Try to take things easy.
HEy Kris...am glad the bt look good. Look after yourself wont you
Thanks guys! You don't know how much I appreciate your support! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Well, Dylan had his sleep today and then would NOT go to sleep at night - I do remember you going through this Mel...I just didn't think I'd have to worry about it just yet - LOL! (wishful thinking???)
It's a catch 22 - leave him up and he's feral, put his down for a sleep and he's...FERAL...although I think I prefer the feral that's in bed at 7pm!! LOL!
Am about to jump off this computer and go to sleep...I'm sooo tired! Did food shopping this arvo - so couldn't be bothered but at least I went on my own which was nice...I must say - dh may not be being super supportive in regards to the p/g but he's helping out heaps at home...cooked the boys dinner while I was out and had a tidy up...he's doing the best that he can!!! I must make sure I appreciate him for that...he can't give what he can't give....
Ok..nighty night!!!
Thats great your dh is helping out. Yes we still have the same issue if Olivia sleeps during the day. She wont go to sleep til 1030-11pm. I would much rather get through the ferralness and have her sleep by 730-8pm. Its taken her quite a few months to get used to not sleeping during the day.
Rebecca is waking up for feeds now and shes drinking around 240mls. Please tell me its a growth spurt and she will sleep through soon! Olivia had another nightmare last night, I woke to her screaming but when I got there she was sleeping, so went back to bed and she called out for me. I ended up sleeping on the floor for an hour and a half!
Ok got a busy day...hope all is well:)
Hi!
Mel - Ethan still wakes up most nights for a feed - Gosh, Louis and Dylan were done with the by now (although I think thats because they had a dummy) I'm really looking forward to it finishing but who know's??? He eats soooo much as well!!!!! Wow at Rebecca having 240ml! I would be very surprised if Ethan gets that kind of volume from me so it's not a surprise really that he's feeding overnight...
He's eating 3/4 of a oatbrit + baby cereal + 1/3 banana and milk for brekky - Toast & yoghurt for lunch and Veggies and yoghurt for dinner!!!! Crazy! Sometimes I think it's must just be a comfort feed...who knows??
Poor Olivia and her nightmares...I suppose they're getting to that age now!! Louis gets night terrors which is where he's completely out of it and asleep when we go in and he kicks and cries but he's not awake...mostly he gets those when he's overtired...
Ok...off for another blood test this morning and taking the kids to playgroup (haven't been in ages) so I better get a wriggle on!
Chat later!
Kris, great to hear that your results sound good for your pg dates! I'll make sure I check back in tomorrow for your next results. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I'm just thinking back to when I found out I was pg with Jared and I thought I was a week further along too. I only ever had the one period though so I didn't really know what was going on with my cycle. Maybe it's the same with your pg?
Bugger about Dylan and his sleeps. Having said that, Ben is still awake and he should have been down at least an hour ago. I hope we're not reaching that stage yet. I was hoping we would have both boys having decent naps for at least a little while!
Kel, bugger about the extra work, but the extra $$$ is always handy isn't it? I'd still love to catch up. I think we're hitting a quiet patch here with nothing but swimming on Thursdays so let me know when things settle down for you.
Mel, it could be a growth spurt. I've given up trying to keep up with Jared's growth spurts because he ALWAYS seems to be having one! I don't rely on any particular pattern at night anymore because just when I get used to a pattern it changes! J is back to waking up at around 1:30 for a feed which I reckon is the worst possible time for it. I really struggle between midnight and 2am for some reason. I'd love for him to go back to his 11pm- 6am routine, but I won't be holding my breath.
Hi Jen and Kaz!
I've been flat out the last few days and really am feeling it today. We had an ABA meeting, I went to the movies and shopping yesterday and today we had our first swimming lesson. It was so cool, the boys are the only two in the class!!!! It's like a personal lesson which is fantastic. They were both really good. We knew Jared would be but were worried about Ben. He has been bad in water since his double ear infection. he loved it so much though that he made DH stay in the water for an extra 20 mins after the lesson for a play. The best part about it all though is that Jared has now been asleep for nearly two hours!!!! He never sleeps this long during the day! I've told DH we'll have to have a swimming lesson every day now :)
Sorry, this has been a bit of a memememe post! Kris, I'm thinking of you :) I'd best go and try and get Buster off to sleep :)
Hi all,
Kris - fingers crossed, when's the next BT, Friday? Hope it's all good. I hear you on the sleeping, Pip's getting ready to drop a nap, he can last until 4pm without a nap so when he's at home with DH (only 2 weeks now!) maybe he'll be in bed by 6pm or so and not have his day nap? I don't know.
I'm joining a gym around the corner from work, it's a small gym and its got 2 PTers on at lunch and only has 6-10 people in the room at any time, so it's like having a PT session at half the price. Hopefully I'll make it 3 times a week - it's a month-by-month contract so that's pretty cool, no long contracts to budget for! Plus there are NO MIRRORS !!!!!! woohoo!!!!
What with Trev finishing work, it looks like Pip's picking up on the change and his behaviour is reverting, he's biting at CC again :( He tried to bite 3 times yesterday and then bit me twice at home at night :( At the moment I'm just trying to get stuff happening for Pip with Trev, swimming lessons / gymbaroo / library sessions etc.
As I write this, Trev's reading to Pip, they are both enjoying the "cars" story! Very exciting!
Jen - you do sound down in the dumps poor love :(
Mel - how's your TTC hmmm?
Lil - great to hear from you, you sound so busy!
ciao ladies!
Hi ladies :)
Kris, I'm ok working extra hours. I only take on extra when DH is home to look after the kids, otherwise it defeats the purpose (of making more money cause childcare would cost almost as much as i would earn working extra!). My job is a good one, I do enjoy it, but just don't want to actually work. I want to be home with my babies...but it just can't be :(
Yep, co sleeping is lovely and all, but I think it's time to sop now! Liam is getting to the stage where he's just rolling all over the bed, he ends up all over the place, lol! He was at my feet the other night and I nearly had a heart attack that he'd gotten caught between the mattress and bed frame cause I couldn't feel him. And he kicks me alot. I always wake when he moves too. So besides him getting to be a PITA, it's getting a bit dangerous for him too. And I want to sleep with my DH again! I don't remember the last time we DTD in bed, lol! (Sorry TMI :p).
The gym I og to is $16 a class and about $18 for a weekly membership. BUT I can only get a yearly one for that price. A 6mth one is more and a monthly one is even more. So not worth it unless I get a yearly one, and we might be moving before the year is out...and breakage costs are $150. Such a rip off! At least now if I don't have the money I don't have to go and pay it. I do really enjoy going though and it might be worth it...ugh, I don't know!
With sleeping, I'm lucky cause Lil soooo needs her day sleep! But with Liam I think he's going to need less sleep than Lily does, he's already down to 2 day sleeps and has been for a while. Lil was still having 3 day sleeps at his age! She only went to 2 at about 14mths. But with him, I prefer to keep him up and deal with the feralness through the day and then him go to bed early and sleep better at night (does he ever sleep well??!!) than to battle him to bed for another sleep and then be up until all hours. I just try to keep him occupied (like going out on the balcony, having a bath, playing ball, jumping on the bed together- yes I do it with them, lol!!) til bed time so he's happier and not just whining and my ankles! But good luck!
I hope your blood results are good tomorrow. I will cross everything for you. I can't imagine how anxious you are...well actually I can, and it sucks. I'm glad your DH is helping you out. He does seem to be trying hard for you.
Mel, Liam still wakes for feeds through the night, but I think for him it's more habbit and comfort than actual hunger. I's trying not to feed him anymore through the night. But then he's only having 2-3 feeds through the day. I'm not sure if he really needs it or not. Certainly not 4 or more feeds a night though! He's almost one so shouldn't need to feed at night I would think! I so just want to get some decent sleep! Is R eating much in the way of actual food? Maybe she needs more food rather than more milk??
Dis, I am having some days off work in early August, maybe we can catch up then? But we are all well again at the moment so any time is fine for us now! If I get any extra work it's usually last minute so I just need to have a bit of notice, even just 2-3 days, so I know if I can work extra days or not. Though they don't always come up regularly.
How great that you have a swimming instructor to yourselves! I really wan tto take Lil and Li, but again, the funds won't stretch so far at the mo. I will ask mum for the $$ for christmas instead of her buying MORE toys that they so don't need and I so don't have space to put them.
Kaz, your gym sounds great! I wish we had one close by that was so cheap. But I've calle dall the ones close by and the one I'm going to is the cheapest around here. Sucks!
I hope Pip sorts himslef out. I wonder why he's reacting like that though? Have you changed anything yet? Or do you think he just feels that things are going to change? It's so lovely to see your DH with your littel ones huh? I love watching my DH iwth the kids, when he's being calm and playing nicely that is, lol! Not yelling no at them! He doesn't have much patience when it comes to the not doing what he says  He's just like having another kid at times!
Jen, hi hun, I hope things are going well. Hope you're feeling better. How's the pg going now? How far along are you?
Ok that's it for me, phew!! That was a morathon post!! I'm going for a shower and then early night methinks....gotta try to get some sleep!
ok I just read all that and have forgotten! What i did notice is Kaz...your ticker says 1 day til O! Happy shagging!!!! Hope you guys can stay awake. We are much the same, i cant keep my eyes open.
Kel- We coslept with Liv for a while and hated every minute of it, so Bec is banned. Mainly coz we never slept much with her there. Rebecca eats loads of solids now. I have been giving her solids first and then milk....should I still be doing it the other way around? She is not doing well with day sleeps at all. Today shes had an hour from 11-12 and then fell asleep at 7pm til 930....now shes awake. I tried getting her to sleep this arvo, but she fights it so much. She hates bee=ing rocked, patted, she will play in her cot til she gets stuck then cries. I know Olivia dropped down to one sleep around 9 months, so am thinking that we may have a similar pattern happening...I hope not! I make sure R gets plenty of fillers at dinner time ( she always has mashed potato and pumkin with her meal to bulk it up). Shes possibly teething again too. So are you thinking about moving soon?
Hope everyone is well, sorry for the lack of personals. i have to get bec to sleep.
Oh by the way I just did the Jillian Armstrong on the wii...its fun and hard so am hoping for some results:)
Mel, what's the Jillian Armstrong? I've been so busy lately, I've barely had time to weigh myself on it. Last time I did, I was 79.3kgs. As long as I stay under 80kgs I'll be relatively happy. It's just too hard finding time to myself right now.
I think you're fine offering Bec food before milk at this age. From memory you are supposed to do that from 8 or 9 months. I sometimes already just offer Jared food because his bf are all over the place  Mind you, he is only eating a wee bit at the moment.
Kel, early August sounds good. August starts this weekend! How did that happen?
Co-sleeping didn't work with us. I was always so worried I'd roll on top of them, I can't even nap with J in the bed. Our sleeps have gone kaput here too :( I think being out and about so much this past week has buggered Jared up. Last night I was up twice to feed him. He didn't go to bed until 11pm last night either. I'm soooo tired.
Swimming lessons aren't cheap are they? I mean, it's only $9/kid, but it's only for half an hour and with the two of them, that half hour costs us almost $20! We just want Ben to like the water again. Last year on our camping trip we didn't get to go to the beach or the lake because Ben was scared of the water AND the sand!
Kaz, have a fun few days TTC :) I'm going to make a big effort this weekend, it's been WEEKS since DH and I have had some time alone. :(
Kris, when are you getting your results back? How was playgroup yesterday?
Jen, how are you doing? Still having a rough time? Those hormones play havoc with your moods don't they?
Us, I'm off to the doc this morning as soon as DH gets home from work. My shoulder has been playing up. I don't know what I've done to it, but I can't raise my arm above boob height without it hurting. Getting dressed is such a drama that after our swimming lesson yesterday I got changed straight into my pjs... at midday! I've been in tears each night getting undressed and changed into my pjs so I thought I'd get it over and done with! It's worse at night too, after a day of lifting the boys. At 15kgs and 10kgs it's no wonder really! You don't think about it while you're doing it, but they're some pretty sizable weights.
A lazy day at home today. I have a tonne of washing and ironing to do, not to mention that the floors make it look like we live in a mud-floored hut. I'm half-hoping the doctor will tell me to rest my shoulder, but then the mess will just sit around waiting for me anyway.
Hi!
Dis - The swimming lessons sound great with just your two boys in it!!! I hope you get to take it easy after such a busy week!! Sorry to hear about your shoulder you poor thing - hope you get some answers!!
Kaz - The gym sounds great - we had one like that up the road from us in croydon - they were like all group training sessions....have fun with it!!! Hope Pip settles down - I so can't imagine him biting!! He's such a quiet, gorgeous little thing!!!
Oohhh - I hope you had some fun last night!! LOL! Good luck this month!!
Kel - Hmmm, with the gym membership I guess it depends how much you'll go - if you want to go twice a week it's going to be way better value to get a yearly membership?? But, yeah if your moving soon maybe not!!
I've got to try and get mine put on hold now....I only just took it out in May and I've only been once - LOL!! My last gym put it on hold so I hope this one does as well or I'll be super annoyed!!
My boys have always dropped down to 2 sleeps pretty quickly - Ethan only has 2 and then usually dropped down to 1 about 11 - 12 months...
I would say your little monkey is definitley comfort feeding!!! They say by 6 months they don't "need" it...he's about ready to drink cows milk now as well???
I need to have Ethan off night feeds soon for my own sanity I think - although I don't want to cc him we did with the other boys so it may need to happen...for some reason I feel way more guilty about it now...I guess cos the other boys had dummys so they still had that comfort whereas with Ethan he's just got me??? iykwim?
Mel - LOL - we don't cope well with co-sleeping either - no one gets a good night sleep!! It's about 9m when you swap over to food before milk so your close enough!! I haven't swapped Ethan over yet but I probably should...I just can't believe how much he's eating at the moment but I suppose he crawls up and down the house all day so is burning it all off anyway!! LOL!
Your so good for doing the wii!!! Well done!
Jen - Hi - hope you're well!!
Dylan ended up falling asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon for 2 hours so as you can imagine he didn't want to go to sleep last night...we had dinner a bit late anyway but I think by the time he actually fell asleep it would have been at least 8.30pm the little bugger...I think I'll just let him do what he wants - obviously if he's tired enough he'll just snooze on the couch maybe??
I should have my test results around lunctime so shall let you all know...
LOL - just realised I don't have to worry about weigh ins now - LOL! Woohoo! I get to be fat for longer - Hehehehe.
Better have some brekky - chat later!
Hi All,
Been reading this week but not posting:p Just checking in on Kris.
We are ok here, been doing lots with friends I have made through playgroup this week to keep my mind active. I feel like I will have some support up here when number 2 comes and am thinking of booking my license test ahead of time to give me a goal time. When I am down though its really scary downs that I havnt felt since Beau was very small - bloody hormones! Working and away from home 2 nights and 3 days next week which I am DREADING! Have a morphology ultrasound on Thursday beofre I go so we can finally get some piccis!
Kris - Hope you come on and post later with your result, ok so far though. Good your DH is helping you out in this weird time, it really is la la land isnt it? Hey we can get fat together while everyone else gets skinny LOL.
Kel- A move? a move? Where to? Where to? Up the coast??? Ick co-sleeping! Never did it! I know it sounds harsh but I am glad I didnt too - Beau is the best sleeper, he went in his cot in his room from day dot, so will the next one. But I admire you for enjoying the time with your bubbas so much in bed, its lovely! But nice to snuggle with DH and have a nice deep sleep without getting kicked LOL! Good luck in August when he is off - dont chicken out sister!!! Gosh I am 19weeks this Saturday!
Mel- Yes I think Beau (not Ben but I got your drift LOL!) is super in touch with my emotions, it makes it even harder when you are upset dont you think? I always thought solids before milk too - sounds like Becca is eating a bit though - I reckon Beau ate more when he was that age than he does now! Beau is still napping pretty easily in the day, if only for an hour - he loves his bed! I hope they hang around until the new baby comes, he will probably drop them when he comes then I will have to deal with it then. How is your nudist going? Any advances with toilet training?
Dis - I would love to do swimming lessons too, how lovely you do it with DH? I might look into a weekend one, get out the bump in the bikini - PWOAR! Glad your guys are all healthy again, the midwife told me on Monday to avoid shopping centres and busy places cause of flu/swine flu...hilarious! She thinks i should wear a mask too - oh geez! How awful with your shoulder though, hope the doctor did tell you to rest up - bugger the floors. I hear on the weight of your bubs, I feel everytime I pick Beau up atm everyone looks at me like "are you nuts lady?"
Kaz- Take it easy this weekend so you have some energy for DTD! Get out some steamy chick flicks - always works for me! Sorry to hear Pip is biting again, maybe once the new routine settles in with DH at home, he might settle down? Especially if they are busy doind fun things like you are trying to organise!
Ok, best go and do some housework, we have Sydney girlfriends of mine coming up this weekend and a family dinner at my BIL's on Saturday so a busy one for us x
Well I have a strained rotator cuff from lugging Jared around. I'm not supposed to use my arm ~ as if! Try explaining that to a six month old  No laundry, washing up etc etc though :D Some good has come out of it :)
Urgh, I'm in a foul mood. We just got our FTB A and I'm really annoyed. We got the most piddly little amount. If we had earned just $206 less for the year we would have got an extra $1700+ (including the stimulus from October). 206 lousy bucks!!! I know I should be grateful that I got a few bucks anyway, and that DH and I earn enough to not qualify, but they way they work it.... urgh! Anyway, I'll get over it, just needed to vent a bit!
I'm off to have a lovely rest on the lounge now. No housework... geez, I hate to think what the state of our house will be like on Monday after two days at home with all three boys and me not being able to do anything
Hi!
Just a quick one from me to let you know that my hcg levels basically doubled! So that's good news...now just have to wait until the scan to make sure everythings ok with bubs...I'm really hoping so...!
Jen - Sorry to hear you're still not your happy self!!! Big hugs...xoxo...How exciting having your scan next week!!! Bugger at having to work away though! I hope you enjoy your weekend!!!
Dis - Ouch! Gosh...good luck with not lifting children...hope it gets better really soon though!!
Bugger with the FTB...that's one benefit to us being poor - more money from the government - LOL! I nearly fell off my chair when I called to finalise our tax stuff...!! Not that I get to spend it - just pays off a credit card - that we've now cancelled - woohoo!!! One day though we won't owe any money so I will be able to just spend it - LOL!!!! Or maybe even go on a holiday - that would be nice - hehehe!
Enjoy your weekend of rest!!!
Ok...better go! Kids are feral this arvo...and Ethans just gone to sleep so better get some tidying up done...I let it all go over last weekend and early this week while I was sick and in la la land so am still catching up...
Can you just imagine how much washing I"m going to have to do with 4 kids??? AAAAHHHHH!!!! hehehehehe....
Chat later!
Hey jen...sorry I get them all mixed up...beau ben becca...you know! Brain is failing me!
See I just read the posts and brain is mush.....
Kris good news. I am clucky really bad now. ouch
rebecca slept til 4am for a feed so not too bad. Shes had 3 feeds so we are on track today. i on the other hand have no idea...must be the fumes from cleaning toilets and baths. Its so bad that Olivia is outside with just her top half on. Bec is in the cot babbling and refusing to have her arvo nap.
Dis I think its Jillian Michales...dunno...the chick from the biggest looser. Good work out though and loads of fun. Hope your arm is better. I had one of those and took ages to heal. Knew something was wrong when I struggled lifting a slab of beer (pre children).
Love to all...i better go
Dis - ouch, I did both my rotator cuffs about 15 years ago and it still troubles me, specially when I sleep with my arms under the pillow.
Mel - yep, felt "o" pains earlier, let's hope :crossfingers: Yah, there are 2 "other" Wii weight loss programs than Wii Fit - there' Wii Fitness and also Jillian Michales ..
Pip is so cute a the mo! we put him down for his afternoon nap and he insisted on cleaning his teeth and giving me night-night hugs :)
awww
great news Kris :) And no, no more weigh-ins!!!!
:confetti: YAYYYYYYY, Kris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! such GREAT news!!!!!!
Kaz I am waiting to get the wii active. It has a 30 day challenge, but to tell you the truth, the jillian one is killing my legs, so it must be working. It is a little slow to respond but once I worked it out its fine. I just customise my activities, so make sure i do loads of leg ones as I have huge thighs! At least I am getting use out of the wii now and I dont have to worry about the gym. Hope you got lots of bding in......:)
I have been up since 415. DH is at tafe and I am so tired. Rebecca is sleeping only once a day now...little munchkin, shes so much like her sister in so many ways. She did sleep from 7pm last night til 415 but woke up for a quick feed around 10pm. She eventually went back to sleep at 6am but liv woke up so no luck for me. Bec is also cutting her top tooth...well its not cut but I can see the gum has turned all white on one side......so I am assuming it wont be far away.
I am feeling lonely today...I suppose coz dh is at tafe. I rang my friend who was my bridesmaid but she seems to never answer my calls or get back to my emails. I am having issues again with the way I feel about my friendships. DHs mother thinks I hate her, my good friends dont seem to want to catch up...bbbllllllaaaaahhhh. I suppose i am tired and menstral! I just want some company!
Anyway I have made osso bucco today, I hope it tastes ok. Most of my dishes taste the same in the slow cooker, so i added some different stuff. If it tastes the same it will be disappointing.
I need to sleep.
Gosh i was miserable yesterday! My friend did call me, so i feel better and the girls slept through til six, so i got 8 hours sleep:)
Hi girlies!
Well, I got a wonderful night sleep last, and I feel like a new woman! I got 7hrs all up, but most importatly I got 4hrs straight! LOL,doesn't soud like much to most but for me who usually gets no more than 2 sometimes 3hrs at a time, it's GREAT! Lily slept through and stayed in her onwn bed, and Liam only had two feeds, one at 12.30, one at 4.30, then he didn't wake til 7.15. Lil got up at 6.30 and came into my room quietly and woke me by touching my face, saying 'hi mumum', sooo sweet. The sweeetest little face I could wake up to! Ahhh, what a way to start a day :D
Well, at the moment I am freaking out that I might be pg... I have been having some serious tummy cramps the past few days, as well as back ache, sore nipples....a few other things I can't think of and yesterday I had brown blood in my CM when I wiped (sorry tmi!). I am right in the middle of my cycle though, so unless I am 6wks or more, it's unlikely that I'm pg from this cycle.....but these are all symptoms I had in early pgcy with my babes. And I have never had these sort of symptoms in the middle of my cycle before....arrrrggghhhh, DH will kill me if I'm pg! He so doesn't want any more kids. Not to mention the financial implications....new house, new car, all new baby stuff cause I've gotten rid of most of it! Serves him right for not being careful the whole time....eeek! LOL!We got our tax back this week, so we're in the money, lol! As well as our cc rebate too. So I can go out and spend! Not too much, cause it will be marvellous to have some savings, but I can go out and not worry if I see some clothes for us that I want!
Mel, I do enjoy cosleeping, or I have til now! Li's just getting too restless, and he's kicking, and I'm just not sleeping. He needs to learn to be on his own. Lily was by this age.
Wow, R is already down to one sleep?? Gosh my kids love their sleeps in the day. Maybe that's why they don't sleep at tnight! But if they don't have their day sleeps, they're impossible. Soooooo grumpy. I couldn't deal with that every day!
Yep, thinking of moving in the next year or so at least. DH is a cop and we're looking at going remote, meaning moving to the country, like outback kind of country! I have been a city girl my whole life, so it's pretty exciting. But if we don't move with his job, we will just move away from here. We really hate living here and I soooo want a bigger place. If not a house, at least a town house with 3 bedrooms!
Dis, ok, we'll organise something to do together in a week or so, I can't remember the exact dates I have taken off work...
Swimming lessons for us are ridiculously priced. Well at the two places I have called- $120 per semester or something stupid like that! I haven't called the smaller, private places yet though. I will have to see what they cost...
Hope your shoulder is feeling better. Gosh your boys are chubba lubbas aren't they!! Hehe, Lily is only about 12kgs and Li is 9kgs now I think. I hope you haven't been lugging them around too much!!
LOL, your house might look like mine after no housework for a few days....mine looks like a clothes bomb has gone off in it, or a dish bomb....I so need to get off my butt!
Kris, how are you going? I hope things have settled now you have your test results. How's your DH handling the pg now? I hope he's come around. That's how mine would be if I'm pg too. But, if he really didn't want me to be pg again, then he should have taken more care! He knew I didn't care if I got pg again...not that I was intentionally being irresposible, but it's half his responsibility too...
Jen, hun. I hope you're feeling better today. I had some really down days too when I was pg. It's tough, all those hormones raging! I can't believe you're already 19wks!! Wow, almost half way! It's so great that you feel supported there. It's tough when you have noone to help or even just sympathise!
LOL,yep, going up the coast is a possibility. If we don't move with DH work, we will be looking at going up the coast somewhere. Besides it just being nicer than Sydney (I think so anyway!) it will give us more of an opportunity to buy a bigger, better house, hopefully in a nicer area too. Couldn't get any worse than Fairfield though I don't think anyway, LOL!
Don't worry I'm not going to chicken out with getting the kids sleep sorted. I'm sooo over it. And if I'm pg.....well! Besides that I want my life back to a more normal rhythm. I want my hubby to sleep with ME! Not some other girl (even if it is Lily, hehe!). They are both old enough now to do it, and I am in the right space to do it too. And DH is not going to let me not do it!!
Kaz, how sweet with Pip going to bed. I love it when they initiate the hugs and kisses, it makes them all the more sweet!
Good luck with your ttc this month....hope it was...fruitful!
Ok that's enough from me, gotta fold some washing, or do some dishes, or go to the shops and spend some money, lol!
Hope you're all well!
MMM.....3 pregnancy scares this month with one positive outcome....Kel!!! Will you test?
I am so clucky. I just finished AF and I was thinking I might stop the pill ( I was going to stop earlier but Kristie scared the crap out of me coz I didnt think I was ready if we had an accident). I think I am ready now. I think...dunno about dh though!!!!
Yep, Mel, gonna test when I go out today. Gotta buy one. I'm not as worried as I was yesterday now. I just had this huge feeling that I was pg yesterday for some reason. Now it's waning...
Good luck...... i am so clucky...its in my bones!
LOL, me too Mel, but DH's not so I'm hoping it's negative...:(
well either way.....good luck. Maybe i should just stop the pill now and see what happens...although this time i really want a boy so am going to have to put some effort into it!
Well? Kel? Did you test?
Hi!
Mel - I've got ethan down to 3 day feeds now (and have now started after lunch but think I may need to swap it back as he's just not drinking it!) He seems to feeding around midnight now though and then sleeping through until about 7-8am...
Ooh I love Jillian Michaels - she's fantastic - sounds like it would be fun!!
You poor thing being up so early yesterday...that would do my head in I think - LOL! Wow at becca getting another tooth!! Gosh...dropping down to one sleep already would be hard - although I must say Ethan seems to be having 2 x 45min naps again at the moment so he's not sleeping that great either...9m is seperation anxiety time so maybe that's got something to do with it???
Hope your osso bucco turned out yummy!
You poor thing with your friends...I probably went through a stage of that a few years ago where I felt really like I'd isolated myself from people...it's taken a while but I've really changed that around now and I have such a great bunch of very diverse friends!!!! I've made some of my closest friends on this forum, my mothers group, I've made new friends out here through playgroup and then I've reconnected with a lot of old schoolfriends by organising my school reunion, and relatives by organising a family reunion...
Please call me if you feel like a chat though - I would love to speak with you over the phone or arrange a catch up anytime - I've never been to your place but I don't think it's that far away!!!!
Yeah at getting a good sleep last night!!
LOL at being so clucky!!! It's a nice age gap between the three...hard work but worth it of course!!
Kaz - Hope you catch the eggy this month! Aww how cute of Pip having his nap...
Kel - Yeah at getting a good nights sleep!!! Wow at thinking you may be p/g! It must be the month for it - have you tested yet???
I'm feeling much better at the moment!! I'm still very anxious about the scan but I'm better in my mind about it...have been feeling VERY tired and nauseous so that's good...Dh is ok...slowly getting his head around...we're already over my family saying how hard it's going to be and omg how are you going to manage blah blah blah...Once we know everything is ok I'll just tell them to cut it out and that if they don't have anything positive to say keep your mouth shut - LOL!!!!!! (sounds good in theory anyway...)
As for us - we had quite a busy weekend which has been good. My friend came over to visit yesterday which was nice (so could have done with a glass of wine - LOL!) and then dh and I snuggled up last night and watch SATC movie - have been wanting him to for ages - he so wasn't impressed - LOL! He got lucky this morning though so he's not complaining to badly...Had my nephew's 2nd b'day today so was a great arvo - boys behaved so well and was so nice to just chill out with the family...yummo cake as well!
So have been feeling tired (had to have a 30min nanna nap yesterday!!) and nauesous but am looking at it as positive signs...if there's no hearbeat next Fri I'll be very cross to have gone through all of this for nothing - LOL!!!
Ok...better go - had a bbq for lunch so it's going to be 2min noodles for dinner - LOL! So can't be bothered with anything else!!
Kel - please let us know how you went!!! I'm dying to know if you're p/g!!!!!!
Goodness!!! Everyone's been so busy - all the best Kel!
Well we're hoping we catch the egg this month, I O'd yesterday so really hoping the "befores" were enough, or should we try after as well ... ahhhhh decisions, decisions ....
Today we took Pip to Chesterfield Farm, he had a ball! He was in the pen with the kids (goats!) and was jumping from stool / log / stump / hay bale with them, so cute!
Suspect he's coming down with something though, there's thick green snot coming :(
Enjoy all!
Ooh Kaz - couldn't hurt to have another go tonight - LOL!!!
Chesterfield farm sounds great - would you believe I've never been/taken the kids??? Must put it on our to do list that's for sure...the boys would LOVE it! I want to do so much when the weather starts warming up to make the most of our time before we're at home with a new bubba!!! At least he'll arrive in time for winter so I won't have to feel bad being a hermit in the early months - LOL!
Oh and Lea informed me that I should receive the chefs toolbox stuff tomorrow - I'll confirm when it gets here but let me know when is a good time to get it to you!!!
Chat later...
LOL, and the verdict is in..........I'm not pg!!! Phew! As much as it wouldn't really bother me...though three, three and under would be pretty tough work! (hey, Kris??!! :)) I think it would cause serious issues with DH. So I am going to the dr ASAP to get a scriot for the pill, until then I will be very careful!
Hey Kel - what a relief - kind of?? LOL - I'm sure you would manage just fine with 3!! If I can do it, anyone can! LOL! It's best to be on the same page with your dh about things like this - the last thing anyone needs is stress in that area!!! (Trust me!) Sounds like a good idea to go on the pill if that's the case anyway...big hugs to you though - would have been a stressful morning I'm sure! xoxoxox
LOL, Kris yep, it's a relief. I was soo nervous taking the test. I did two jic and they were both negative, hehehe!! I had a head ache cause I was stressing!
I'm sure I would manage too, but it would be pretty tough for me. Things were tough for me with two so close and so young. Plus financially it would have been a real stretch for us a while. We would have needed a new car, house blah blah....
DH would have really struggled too. He would come around to it, but it would have been really tough for him. He has moments with just the two of them, let alone another bub too.
But I need not worry. Yay!
