Hey All,
Yeah was crappy weather here this morning but now its gorgeous
Had an AWFUL afternoon with Beau yesterday, he was so disobedient and saying "NO!" right to my face when I would ask him to stop doing something, I put him on this step and he continued to tantrum after, then I smacked him on the bottom which he then hit me repeatedly, so I put him in a cold shower fully clothed! I just lost it! I dont know why he has turned into Dr Jekyl all of a sudden! I want my little boy back! He keeps saying "shower" and "beau, no" today so it may have gone in cause he HATES the shower! Aggghhh!!!

Well, it seems soo long since I have posted here!

Jen, Big hugs babe. I hope your day improved. If it's any consolation, Lily has been a terror too. She's started yelling in my face and hitting me when I tell her no or reprimand her for things. I need to get a mat or something for a naughty spot. Up until now I haven't needed one. I'm hoping it is a very short stage!

Just a quick one casue I'm tired.....Well, we are all better again, after a week from hell! The only one who wasn't sick was Liam. Must be mummy's milk! But seriously, what a week. It was horrible, DH had gastro, Lily vomitting, me with mastitis. OMG. I'm so glad the week is over.

As for me...boys are still sick - lots of coughing and snot! LOL! Dylan was really sooky today and ended up falling asleep on me and having big cuddles -he's a big sook when he's sick - lucky Ethan and Louis were entertaining themselves for a while!
Dylan actually has settled down a lot lately...he's using his words more instead of screaming and is trying to be really helpful! Such a nice change - in saying that though it's always one of them - Louis seems to be having the temper at the moment and getting reallly frustrated...we're talking to him about it though and things seem to be getting better slowly but surely - I think he's just def ready for more kinder next year - burn off all his energy and keep him stimulated!
They're so gorgeous together though - they were both sitting on the chair playing on the computer and Louis will pass a level on his game and Dylan will say - good boy Louis and give him a big kiss and then vice versa when Dylan does something - they actually really are such nurturing, caring little boys!! I just hope they continue to be supportive and loving of each other as they grow up!!!
Ethan was standing up tonight for ages on his own - no steps yet though...cheeky little thing...
I'm looking forward to a chill out tomorrow arvo as on Mon Michael heads up to his parents for 4 days...omg...I'm going to freak out!! LOL! I'm just thinking healthy thoughts at the moment though because I dont' want to get sick while he's away - I've been coughed and snotted on so much it's a miracle I'm not sick already!!
Ok...on that note, I'm off for an early night...

Hope everyone is well. We are doing alright. My experiment to get a boy is actually the most hilarious thing. DH is supposed to be abstinant for 4 days...well, he's a bugger! Lets just say thats gone out the window!!! I have been doing these ovulation tests where you get a smiley face when you ovulate....so far nothing! So if I am on a 28 day cycle then I should get a positive today....but I just got off the pill so am not too sure if I will o straight away or if my cycle is 28days! Listen to me, I have suddenly turned into an ovulation guru! Anyway I hope youre all getting a giggle out of this,coz I certainly am!

Sorry I've been MIA guys. Just haven't had time to jump on the computer. I have no chance of catching up properly on here.

We had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday. Even after Ben blew the surprise of the present (not that it was every really intended to be a surprise - slippers just aren't there exciting! ). The day after we bought them I told Ben to tell DH what we did that day, expecting him to say "shopping" but he went into full detail about how we went to Target but all their size 10s were gone so we had to go to Big W to find some size 10 slippers for daddy's surprise for Father's Day. DH and I were in stitches laughing at his story. Then the next day, after you think I would have learnt my lesson, I asked him to tell daddy what we'd done that day, expecting him to say "Painting" he tells DH that he has painted a special Father's Day card for him, Poppy and Pa as a surprise Oh well we did still have some pressies up our sleeves as a surprise

Both boys are still snotty and really sooky today. I have no energy and just can't be bothered with anything. I haven't even had a shower yet today which is a bit pathetic Actually, I might go have one now and tempt fate. I'm sure one of them will wake up while I'm in there!

Hi ladies,

I have tried to catch up a few times and started posts, but fate has been interrupting me, lol!
We are doing ok. Liam is sick now though. He has a really rattly chest and is just a grumpalump. We were up 4 times last night, one time for 2 hours! Lily has been doing pretty well with sleeping though and is only waking up once a night to come into our room . So in short the sleep situation is absolutely no better than a few weeks ago...except that Liam sleeps in his cot til about 2am most nights, then I bring him to bed to feed sometimes he makes it back to the cot, sometimes not! Aaannnyyway!
We had a wonderful weekend, busy busy! We went up the central coast at Kincumber to see my Dad on Saturday. And went for a drive on the way home, up the coast a little (around Woy woy, Bateau Bay, Orimbah for those that know...Dis, Jen?) It was so beautiful, and such a gorgeous day too. So made me want a house up there. Maybe one day.....Then on Sunday we went to see my nan for her birthday which was last week but we were all dying last weekend, so we went this weekend! And then just went to Parramatta westfields.

Kris, I hope everyone is better now. I can't imagine how horrible it is when all the kids are sick at once, and you feeling so yuck in the first trimester as well. We had a tough time last week when DH me and Lil were sick, let alone having 3 kids sick at once!
Hope things are going ok on you own. Another 'I can't imagine how you're doing it'! Must be tough. I hope you're taking it easy and not expecting to have much done at the end of the day! Happy kids happy mummy thats all you need at the momnet.

Mel, LOL @ your bedroom antics....I can just imagine 'No not tonight hunny its not boy night...., not that way darling we won't have a boy that way!' hehehe! Hope you're having fun with it anyway!

Dis Mel, I hear you on the laziness. I have been feeling a bit like that too, though I had a spurt of energy a few days ago and cleaned out cupboards that haven't seen the light of day for, oooh, 2 1/2 years! But today, I'm back to the lazy. Probably cause I got stuff all sleep. But I'm not going to work today, again! Staying home for my little man.

Hi All!
Had a great birthday thanks for all the wishes on FB too! Went out for date night which was great, got my date dress on and heels and all! Sunday we just hit a market near here and chilled out at home, made DH corn fritters with bacon and roast tomato for breakie and we had prawn sarnies for lunch, then he cooked mussells in a tomato and chilli jam broth for me for tea! was yum day! DH/Beau got me some lovely Peter Alexander pj's, a slinky nightie and a velour tracksuit type day one for the hospital and after bub. Always love it when they go out on a limb with choosing LOL!
Beau has been pretty good, have been watching his diet closely to monitor against his moods if that makes any sense? I had my midwife check up today at the hosp and asked about my tiredness (i have good iron levels apparently) and extra discharge (cause of anit-biotics for group b strep). Had a teary discussing breastfeeding for Beau and how much I want to for this bubba (hopeless) then had to see the registrar regarding the cesar planning/choice. Told him I would be happy to deliver naturally if my waters broke early and the labour progressed quickly, but will have a ultrsound further on to measure against dates and if is as big as Beau will still have cesar. Told DH this and he was, uh, not happy. Doesnt want to see me go thru labour again, cant blame him really
Kel - Glad you had a nice time up here on the weekend, those suburbs are about 30-40min away from us, we are further up the coast and they are on the peninsular. Have been feeling much happier up here lately now I have some friends LOL, you and DH should talk about it! Sorry Liam is rattly, boobie milk couldnt hold him huh? LOL. Beau has a cold and has started to say "mumma blow nose" which is cute!
Kris- Sorry ALL you little men are not well, hopefully summer will get rid of all this sickness! I just love the image of Louis and Dylan at the computer, ah bless em! What day is your NT scan this week?
Dis - oh Ben and his cute big mouth! Dh got a card B and I made a playgroup too - such fun when they start to make things yay! Hope your DH liked his slippers x

Dis - Glad you had a nice weekend - LOL at Ben giving everything away!! Louis didn't give the present away as such but did show him where I hid it - LOL! Lucky it was in a bag but as soon as he saw the Jag bag dh guessed that's what it would be - LOL!

Have you heard of the Failsafe diet by sue dengate?? It's about preservatives and stuff in the food that can affect kids...really interesting..if you google her I'm sure you'll get her website!
Sounds like you've got a good plan for your labour! You need to make the decisions that are right for you! Who knows what will happen 2nd time around - my second labour was far better than my first that's for sure and yet my third my waters broke and I was induced again - so who knows!! A healthy baby at the end of it all is the most important thing no matter which way!!

Day 2 of Michael being away!! LOL! We're going along ok...last night wasn't too bad so hopefully it's like that for the next 2 days as well! It was so quiet last night after the kids were in bed...as much as we usually do our own thing of an evening I still missed having him home...
Boys are on the mend - still a bit of snot and coughs but not as bad as they were! Good news is I haven't caught it!!!
We had a nice fathers day - I made Michael pancakes for brekky and the boys gave him a new wallet and a card! It was so cute - Louis wrote his name on the inside and he said he put an extra mark on the end to make it exciting - I looked and he had written an exclamation point at the end of his name - he's so much like me! LOL!
I've been so lazy the last couple of days - I just have NO energy...it's really annoying me though...I can't say I'm looking after myself as well as I should be though either...the house looks like a bombs hit it - mums coming around this arvo so I can do food shopping and I can just imagine what she's going to say when she see's it - her and my sister are clean freaks so they get annoyed at me...whatever!! I say instead of whingeing about it why not offer to help? LOL!

I'm thinking I need to start putting bans on my computer time...I'm so addicted and I have it on all day...I go off and do stuff and come back for 5min and then go off and come back...it's a bit crazy...baby steps maybe - I'll see if I can hold off until lunchtime tomorrow?? Maybe 11am...LOL!!
Who knows - I may even get some housework done! LOL!

Jen glad you had a good b'day. What happened with bf'ing? Both my girls were crap and I agonised over it, but here I am 9 months later and I have a happy healthy bub...and a big formula bill!!!
Kel- am sorry to hear your lil man is ill. And also sleepings not much better. Although Lil sounds like shes doing ok.

Us...all good here, Liv has picked up a very bad word and we think its from dh being on the phone to his mates. She came up to me and said fing mate....and says it during play. I dont know how to unprogram it. Its just wrong. Girls are squeeling, must go save my mum.

Oh no on Olivia picking up THAT word - LOL...I've just ignored it in the past and they soon forget about it...as long as you don't make a fuss and just avoid using that one yourselves I'm sure it will be fine..We haven't had the f bomb in our house but Louis is hilarious - If Ethan starts crying in another room I usually say s**t and run in there and just before Louis runs into me - mum you better say that word because Ethans hurt himself! LOL!

Do you want to hear something funny?!?!? I should say this because dh would have a fit! But the other night he had a wet dream...I felt so bad coz I have been making him hang on! Poor bugger! He was about to explode last night, then liv jumped in with us, so I am expecting tonight I might have to put him out of his misery!

Glorious day here, been to playgroup this morning, b sleeping now thankfully! Feeling really tired, but I tried to lay down yesterday at lunch and he slept for 30min so I dont want to jinx today LOL!
Kris- How is your computer ban going? Must be why you havnt posted he he! Hope the boys are on the mend.
Mel- eeks on the "f" word! How is TTC going last few days? As for b'fing Beau, he wouldnt take to it and I expressed for 6months. Not nice memories of trying to get help with it either....

Wow jen, I gave up expressing after 6 weeks...such emotionally hard times. As for ttc...well I dont think I have ovulated this month, so its out. However, I seem to be in less of a panic,.just knowing I am off the pill is relaxing!!!

Yep, just seeing my breastpump when we moved made me cringe - I am really worried about my milk not coming in cause I am having an early cesar too. If it all turns wrong though, like you, I wont have the time with no2 bubba to express so the decision will be a lot easier. No egg this month? I have made an appointment to see the lactation consultant at the hospital next month to get a plan happening.
I guess coming off the pill, will take a while to regulate? At least you feel good about starting the process all over - yay!
Off to a indoor crazy/baby/kids/play centre thing with B and some friends today...should be interesting!!!

Have fun today jen....and good luck planning with the lactaion consultant. I think I might do the same with the next one...see one prior to bubs being born. I hate expressing and i hate my pump! i hired from the hospital and it was the best....for doing the job qickly and quietly.

Kristie- just wanted to say all the best for today. I know your are having your scan done, but I also saw that Michael is booked in for the snip...am curious to know how it goes.

Hi everyone else. Liv has a temp this morning, am assuming shes picked up something from some friends we visited yesterday, who were getting over the flu....wish they had of said something prior to me getting there!!! Oh well!

Thats crap that Liv has a temp! Sorry she caught it from friends, hate it when that happens. Had an awful time at the play place, Beau wouldnt play unless I was basically IN the ballpit and all the other kids were off on the bigger equipment and so the mums were all chatting way way away from me Just awful, had to get a cab home as no one was ready to leave, burst into tears in the cab and came home and booked my leaner drivers test Now just gotta read the book......not sure what the lactation consultant can do before hand but I will let you know, good to get a relationship started I think. Glad you feel the same way after two bubs, I feel a bit of a dope after one and not "knowing" how to do it IYKWIM? Cause its so natural LOL! I am sure I will be ignored in hossy as its not my first too! Sorry in a bit of a downer mood!
