    Hello lovelies!!!

How are you all today? I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Well, we had a great weekend. Yesterday we went to Gosford (1 1/2hrs drive away), where they had a show/fair thingy on. It was really good. The kids went on some little rides and ate junk and just had a ball! We then went to see my dad who lives up there too. He adores my kids and had them in hysterics chasing them around and tickling them. I love to watch him with them! THEN we went to sizzlers for dinner on the way home. I ate waaayyyy too much junk and food in general, especially considering I am trying to lose weight (yes again...or still??!!!).
Today I am trying to clean in preparation for moving, doing the bigger stuff like pulling the light fittings down and washing vertical blinds! Such a drag but it has to be done. None of it has been done for at least 3yrs! I used to do it regularly, but since the kids were born, I do the minimum for the place to be clean and clutter free and that's it!!

Mel, yep, I'm looking forward to having time to be with the kids now, rather than rushing from here to there. I haven't got a routine down yet, but I'm betting we'll just get one sorted and then have to move. I'm a bit reluctant to try to get into stuff at the moment because of that. I was going to take them down to the library for the book reading time last week, but it was raining and not worth the effort since we're moving soon, kwim? But they are both soooo bored! And Liam is sooo norty! Into EVERYTHING! And just a cheeky little ****! Lily is pretty good, but she nags and whinges, she doesn't get into mischeif so much tho....I don't know which is better! LOL!

How is everyone going with your bubs (in belly, and out!!) I hope you're all well and not too sick with m/s, or tired with newborns!

Has anyone heard from Jen at all? Just wondering how everything is going? If you're out there Jen, I hope all is well!

Ok that's it from me, going to do something practical while the kids sleep.....

Ahh we are still around. The girls and I are just getting over a week of colds. Bec has finally cut 3 eye teeth so only has the back molars to go!!! YIPPEE! Kel, I need some motivation to do a big clean...not just a quick tidy, I need to wash walls, cupbords, throw stuff out, dust, wash curtains, windows...you get the picture. mmmm I dont know if i could be bothered! I should though.

Pregnancy is going well. Not a great deal of movement, although I expect it to pick up in the next few weeks. I had an anterior placenter with both the girls, this one is posterior, so expecting to feel a load more, well hoping. We went to the hospital for a tour....its disgusting. I hate it and i really dont want to go there. Am not sure what to do and am thinking if we definately dont go ahead with these renos, I am hitting Adam up for a home birth. the birthing rooms are old, dark, dingey. There is next to no parking at the hospital so its either park a mile away and walk or get dh to drop you off and hope he doesnt miss the birth or get fined! Olivias labour was 15 hours...in hospital for about 5 before I had her. Rebeccas labour was 6 hours and was there for 2 hours before I had her. I have a feeling that I am not going to have a great deal of time with this one. I just dont have a positive feeling about this hospital. Ahhh what to do!

Well I hope you are all well.

Mel, I think if you're not comfortable there, go somewhere else, or try to get your HB. If you don't like it just walking through, it will be even worse when you're in labor and having bub.

I know Kel... it makes me squirm walking through there...Adam on the other hand cant see the difference! Men! I am just researching home births and I might have a look at some other public hospitals. I feel like I have to hurry and make a decision though! Am seeing my gp tomorrow and get along with him fine, so might have a chat with him.

Aahhh bugger! No one is here to chat! Hope all is well. Am a little peeved off...I was talking to dh about homebirth last night and hes not too keen, but says if I want it hes happy to pay $3500 for it. Its all antenatal, labour, birth and 6 weeks post natal follow up. Then we were at our neices birthday dinner last night and I talked about it an my MIL turned her nose up it and strongly disagreed with it. There was a huge debate and most women...and men in that room are against it...all because of the what happens if and emergency arises>? However much I tried to let them know the exprerience of a midwife they just argued back. Gggrr. Its funny because my mum is all for it! So i suggested to dh last night that I may try and rebook into my preferred hospital by telling a bit of a porkey and giving a family friends address who lives close by the hospital! Is that bad? Am just not happy to go to the other one!

Anyway, am feeling better after 2 days of antibiotics. Olivia..well shes somewhat better although during the night she was pretty congestd, so we will see when she wakes up.

    Take care....

I don't see anything wrong with fibbing about your address. Seriously, if you're not happy with the hossy, you have to do something. You can't give birth there if you aren't happy with it. Tell them your friends' address - we won't tell

Hi girls, I keep meaning to pop in here, but always seem to get interrupted by one child or another! Besides, I'm not feeling too great right now. MS is well and truly on it's way - bleh! I was hoping this one would be different! I don't want to be sick on Japan again - I was 8wks pg with Ben when I was last there and was SO sick, I can barely remember most of the trip! Jr's dirty nappies are making me dry retch - and the kid is a pooper!

Kel, when do you move? I saw you got the kids to bed at a ridiculously early time last night - well done! Mine were asleep by 9:00 which is a small miracle in this house!

Mel, I would do the same thing with you address. It's not going to make much difference to anyone but you. If your DH isn't too sure about a HB, then go to the hossy you're happy with. I was toying with the idea of a HB when (if!) we have another. I'm not sure about the state of the hospital in Cobar....not sure if they do births either. I might need to go to Dubbo...

Kel, when do you move? I saw you got the kids to bed at a ridiculously early time last night - well done! Mine were asleep by 9:00 which is a small miracle in this house!
LOL Mel, yep, I nearly fell over when Liam went to bed at 6.30!! He got his blankie and dummy and asked to go to bed...?? He also slept for 2hrs through the day too! And slept through the night til his normal pre-dawn wake up at 5.30am. He is getting two of his big molars so maybe that's why? Or maybe it's because he's taken to waking at 4.30 the past 3days....Then DH put Lily to bed and I thought she'd toss and turn cause it was 30mins before she normally goesto bed, and he'd bring her back out in 30mins or so but he came out 20mins later and she was asleep, so it was actually before 7.30 and they were both asleep!
We will be moving on the 24th May, it was supposed to be next week, but Damien has to go to court for a few cases so we'll stay for that and then go once they're over. Feels like it's dragging on forever!! BUt I can't wait to go!
Sorry you're feeling sick. I hope it's just a quick passing thing and you're all good for Japan.

As for us, well, we are good. Kids are bored s**tless though! I really need to do some stuff with them. DH and I are trying to get the unit in order to rent out, painting and repairing and cleaning. Fun fun, not! Liam is teething and is being a terror, though I don't nkow that its just the teething that is causing that, lol! He's just a monster naturally! And I thought Lily was a terror, she's an angel in comparison!!

Hi to Kris and Kaz. I hope all is weel for you girls

thanks girls... I rang my preferable hospital and because I had already had my initial hospital appointment I had to request a transfer from the one I am in. So I rang the one that I am booked into and they said that I have to wait til my next appointment on June 8th and there is no guarentee that I can be transferred. GGgrrr. They will ring the other hospital and see if there is a place for me. I can only hope and pray and beg! So I am still grumpy but at least I have made some headway and may possibly have an answer in 5 long weeks away!

    Heys y'all ...

Sounds like everyone's got their hands full ... Kel *hug* Mel *hug* DG *hug* for all the fun you're going through at the moment ...

Kel - how's the cleaning going? Almost sorted? Bet you're so excited!!!!

Mel - that hospital sounds dodgy & dingy .. I do hope you get the transfer you want ... if you're after a homebirth, there's a great doula here in the hills I could give you the details of, she does a lot of HB. Saw your status about your wake-up kick! YAY!!! Have you checked for sex yet? Will you?

Us - well Pip ate a pile of crayons last night when he didn't go to sleep immediately .. Dh got to deal with the aftermath today ... apparently a "shower job" so to speak. So glad not here for that, my m/s is so BLERGHHHHH. I've actually lost a kg since Thursday Saw the FBC midwives on Saturday - too early yet for doppler apparently? Blood test next Saturday, then the NT scan 2 weeks after that. Pip's so cute though, he keeps tucking me in, giving me toys to play with and reading me books.

    Have a great day all

Oh wow Kaz- youre 10 weeks already! Where did that time go? Hope the m/s goes soon. How cute is Pip... I have Liv rubbing my belly and talking to it. As for the sex...still undecided. I would like a suprise for my last but I m also a person who likes to be organised. My 20 week scan is on May 31st...so about 3 weeks away. If we do find out, we will be keeping it a secret but I might drop some private emails to some special ladies to let them know! I cant really say in here because my SIL used to be a member and I know she sometimes stalks and she also still has friends on here to check me out. She left after we had an on line blue! So yeah...not sure!

My dog eats the girls crayons and yuck! Kaz i hadnt put on any weight until the last 3 weeks. Now I have put on just under 2kgs. AM hoping to keep it at a minimum by eating well. pitty my late night snacks arent too good!

    Hi girls!

Well, everyone sounds like they are going ok at the mo! ('Cept for the m/s!). We are good too. I'm loving being at home so far, 3 weeks down 10000 to go!! We have lots to do so I am busy busy!! Cleaning and getting things organised so the removalists can pack for us. We are getting there. DH is painting the house and I am doing some serious cleaning. Fun, not!
Well, I am 12 DPO today and I am dying to test, though I don't 'feel' pg at all. I don't think this will be our month again....soooo impatient. DH told me the other day that if I'm not pg by Liam's 2nd bday (August), then he doen't want to ttc anymore. I asked if we could revise the situation then, he didn't look too pleased. I will wean Liam completely then, and I think that's what is affecting my ability to fall pg now, the fact that some days he's having 4-5 feeds, usually only 2, some days 1, but up to 5!! I think I might be willing to stop ttc by christmas time. I just don't want a bigger age gap than that between kids, plus thinking of the future, when we move from Cobar in 4ish years or so I have to go back to work F/T and I don't know....the timeing after that just seems all wrong...annnywaay!!

Mel, good luck getting into the hossy you want I have everything crossed for you! For me, if we manage #3 I don't think I want to find out. I want that surprise I had when I had Lil. With Liam, although it was a wonderful thing just to have our bub healthy and gorgeous, I kinda felt a little disappointed that we knew he was a boy all along, kwim? Not to the point of it really affecting me that much, but I just loved finding out Lily's sex and that element of surprise. And you're 16wks, OMG! Just a few weeks off half way! Will you guys be having more kids after this one?

Kaz, lol with Pip eating crayons, did he do rainbow poos, hehehe! Lucky you missed that toilet time, ick!!
I hope your M/S settles soon. I can't remember, did you have it long with Pip's pg? And I agree with Mel, where has 10 weeks gone??!!! Will you be finding out the sex? And while I'm being a busy body, will you be having more after this? How cute Pip is looking after you. They are so intuitive at this age aren't they, they just know what you need sometimes. It's amazing that they know such 'grown up' things sometimes.
Yep, we are tres excited about moving. I sooo can't wait to have the fresh start. I'm just over being here. You read my 'mother issues' thread. Things are just getting so tense around her. It totally sucks and I just don't know what to say to her. I know she loves me, but she just shows it in the strangest ways. I have no idea what goes through her head. I guess that's the issue.

Kris, hello!!! Hope all is going well for you and your gorgeous boys!!

Ok, gotta go. Have a wonderful day ladies!!

    Hey All!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally, finally have a new laptop cord so I can get online with some regularity!
Well, lots happening in here! Congratulations Kaz and Mel on your pregnancies and Mel on your ongoing one (!) and Kris again on the birth of Jayden and Kel...hi!
Well my big boy was 3 on Monday.....he is going great, lots of cheek and has settled into having a little brother now I think. Archie is laughing at him and following him everywhere with his eyes so he loves that response from him of course! Archie had shots on Friday and is 9kg at 4months 3 weeks!
Even if I had a functioning computer I prob wouldnt have been on here much anyway as Archie has been the WORST sleeper ever! Cat napping in the day and at night....waking every 45min! I have weaned him off the dummy and wrap and now am doing control crying which has got him down to one or two wake ups a night but now we all have the flu so last night he woke up a lot again. Have been having some good and bad days but am coping ok on the whole I think!
We have just applied for some more money from the bank to get moving on renovating this house as much as I love our outlook (the lake) and the location, but I really dislike the neighbourhood and suburb and would like to move somewhere a little more "me" ie cafe neighbourhood!
Um.....I am sure there is heaps of other stuff but I cant wait to catch up with everyone!

Well, I caved and brought a test this arvo, I had to buy pads and stuff so I wanted to be sure I would need it and.... well, I won't be needing anything for a while, I'm pg!!!!!! I totally don't feel anything like pg symptoms yet and was sure I wouldn't be this month! It would only be very early and obviously nothing is definately confirmed yet (need I tell you guys not to say anything on FB?), though I did two different tests, lol. I brought one and it was positive, but I forgot I did it and I checked it after the 10mins and it says to disregard a positive test after 10mins. So I brough some more tests and I did one which was positive after about 45secs. I will do another one tomorrow and go for a blood test next week, though I will be cutting it fine with getting results back because we move in 15days! But yayayayayayay....I'm pretty sure I'm pg!!

Jen, hello, glad to hear from you hun, I'm glad things are going ok despite Archie's sleep patterns!!

Yay Kel, that is so awesome!!!!! Congratulations!!!! It's funny, I thought I'd missed out when I found out with this bub. I'd talked myself out of thinkimg I was - I mean how could I possibly be pg first time, three times in a row? I almost fell over when that line appeared! Took a week or so until the ms started bothering me, and now I REALLY feel pg! You'll be there soon!

Big CONGRATS to you and Damien!
