My gosh, 32 weeks already!! When did that happen, lol!
You're lucky your mum is so willing to take your kids I wish I could say that about mine....
We need to sort out our car situation too. We hired a car to get to Sydney and it was a 2010 holden sportswagon. OMG, it was like heaven to drive! We want one now, though it won't be a 2010 one, lol! Hopefully no more than 5yrs old though.
I got a heap of clothes in sydney for bubs and me too (as well as toys and clothes for the kids too!! We spent up a storm!). But we hadn't brought baby anything much til now. But it has basics now a few tshirts, singlets socks and onsies, and a couple of packs of nappies too. Managed to get myself some stuff for the coming warmer months too, though it's all just casual stuff like tights and longline tops. But I'm thinking that's about all I will really need out here.
Never mind about bubs being breech, you still have a fair bit of time for her to budge. I'm feeling kicks and wriggles everyday for sure now. I'm loving it, it's making it feel more real. Though just today I looked into baby's room and kind of though 'I'm having a baby....wow....a new little baby!' LOL. I managed to book into the same hospital I had the other two in, so I am happy. Though it wasn't without dramas. I was nearly in tears talking to one midwife, the idiot! She told me I would have to birth at my nearest hospital, which is DUbbo, and I really don't ant to do that, I was having images of me giving birth in the middle of nowhere because it's a 3hr drive to Dubbo hospital and there's not much between here and Dubbo! But I talked to the nursing unit manager and she was so good, she just said it would be fine!
Ok I'm going to eat some chocolate and then have a nanna nap while the monkeys sleep, I'm soo tired!

So you'll be in Sydney around your due date? Its nice to have them all in the same hospital. Am glad I got a transfer to my original hospital. Its a bit scary to think about having another baby in the house! I dont know where we will fit them all! I took a 2007 commodore executive out for a test drive last week. It was great and heaps of space. I think the 2008 and onward are a bit smaller though? Anyway this one was about $13500 and it had done 120ish thousand kms. A lady at day care has a 2006 model and fits a hi liner in the middle a baby love convertable on the passenger side and a capsule on the drivers side with plenty space.

All going well here! Kids have all been sick, especially Jayden but he's on the mend now! Michael has put an offer in on land up at Bonnie doon which is very exciting! All going well we'll be moving up in Jan in time for Louis to start school!!! We should know def in the next couple of days! Then the mad rush to sell our house!! Not looking forward to that with 4 kids to clean up after! LOL!
Dylan had his first day at kinder today!!! He was very excited so I'm sure he will be fine - I have to pick him up at 3.45...The house is very peaceful with the little ones asleep!

AFM- getting a bit sick, sore throat and snotty nose. Rebecca has it and the past few nights have been.... not sleeping nights! She slept in bed with me last night so I did manage to get a bit of sleep...except for the kicks to the head! DH is on his last boys weekend away for the year so it was lucky he wasnt in the bed or I would have had no sleep! I think Bec might be sick because I have now had a feel in her mouth and she has her back 3 molars through.... that means she has only 1 more to cut! Yay! Olivia is going well too. She managed to sleep from 8 til 7 last night without a toilet stop!Shes so motherly and cant wait til 'Amy' comes along. We went and got some nappies and she saw how little they are! Shes so cute..... actually they both are when it comes to my tummy. After my shower they both have to rub copious amounts of cream on my belly!!! Then my back then my face!!! When they both see a little baby they stroke it and pat it. They will be great big sisters!

Ok better move.... have to clean the house seeing I havent done it for ages.... it hurts after a while!

Hi all- am just going to have a ramble! I am 35 weeks. Last night I got some nice cramping in my vj which woke me from sleep... so am guessing that pre labour has started. Am getting so excited. Girls are well. Just organising everything before I have this baby. Still uming and ahing about another car! Work has picked up at the minute for dh so hopefully it stays that way for a while! I cracked it coz he wanted to see how we go with our car because we cant afford it yet he goes out and buys crap all the time for him. My car is the only thin I personally own outright now so it feels like again any of my independant decision making has been taken away... I cant believe that still after 3 years of not working I still feel like this!!! Me and my independance! I so struggle with this. Must have been drummed into me at the girls school I went to!
Other than that all is good! Must catch up with Kaz and Kristie soon.....

Ok so this will probably end up being a whiny me post, but hey, here goes....

I haven't been posting my my buddy threads alot because Ive just been feeling s hitty....
The kids are ok, though they both have colds at the moment, they woke up with them. Liam had a runny nose yesterday and today it's grotty and yellowish. Lily has a blocked nose and cough. We all had a terrible night sleep so I'm hoping they both sleep this arvo. I'm really over not sleeping. At 2 and 3 1/2 yrs old, I really thought we'd be over the not sleeping crap. Lily is being a right little biatch today and Liam is like her little shadow following and doing what she does. I really need a holiday. By myself somewhere far far far far away. Somewher warm and beachy. Where I can drink alcohol too, lol! With plenty of money so I can buy what ever I want when ever I want....yeah well none of that will be happening in the next millenia. Keep dreaming princess.
I have so much I need to do today. A tonne of washing and folding. The baby's room has been trashed by the kids because they go in there and play when their toy room is trashed, which it is, so I have to tidy in there too, their bedroom is trashed too, they emptied out all of the clothes from the drawers they can reach because Lily couldn't find anything to wear...at 3yr of age she had nothing to wear. Though I don't doubt it, it's all in the laundry for me to wash, or in baskets for me to fold and pack away. Vaccing and mopping needs doing....oh the glamourous life I lead.
Ok enough whining. Hope you're all in better moods than me!

Big massive hugs Kel. Hope u get that well deserved holiday... can I come too? Sun, surf, alcohol, hot men to give me massages and a nice comfy bed to sleep in so I can sleep as long or as little as I want!

Not a great deal to report here..... am 36 weeks tomorrow. One more week til full term then I can drop this bundle! Girls are good... well they have their days!

Wow! We are all very quiet in here! Where is everyone?? Well I have one sick little miss who has a cold. My poor little poppet, she's leaking from everywhere on her face, lol! She's got a cough and runny eyes and nose. And she has been watching tv pretty much all morning, which is very unusual. She has been sleeping terribly, as has DS so DH and I haven't been sleeping terribly well! I sent the kids to childcare yesterday though, just to get some real rest. And all I did was laze on the lounge and eat tim tams! The only chores I did was hang out 2 loads of washing and make dinner/tidy the kitchen. It was sooo nice. But DD did come home with the cold! She went with a snuffly nose, but came home looking like she'd been in a boxing ring, with swollen runny eyes and a red nose. It is just a cold, no fever, no green gunk from anywhere, but my goodness she looks terrible

I am feeling ok this week. Moods seem to have stabilised a bit, though I know it's just a matter of time before I explode again...I have been trying to do it myself and stabilise mymoods myself, but it's not happening. Other than that, I am getting HUGE! I am feeling very pg, and with 3ish months still to go, I'm not really looking forward to later pg! My feet are starting to swell and my hips are really feeling the pressure of baby. My back is achey and clicks/cracks alot, sometimes rather painfully when I walk and my leg feels like it will collapse...ick! Feeling very tired, though that just might be because I really am with the kids not sleeping well for the last few weeks! Bub is kicking up a storm, though he's doesn't seem to move as much as my other two did, but that could just be that the placenta is in the way of me feeling alot of movement. He has a definate routine through the day and I can almost guarentee when I will feel him moving. Other than that I am just plodding along in what feels like the longest pregnancy I have ever had!!

Kris I see on FB you have sold your house, my goodness that was QUICK!! Congrats though, you must be sooo excited!! When do you move?

Mel, I can't believe you're so close to bub being born! Your pg seems to have gone sooo quickly, unlike mine, lol!! Maybe that because I feel like I'm in a time warp out here, I do the same things day in day out, and we're stuck here. We haven't been out of town at all for months! Our car is well and truely dead now, the battery is dead, so it won't even turn over. We could just get a new battery, but it's kind of a waste of $$ though not much, it's not really any use, we run out of rego soon too, so no use...Not sure what we will be doing with getting a new car. We have been trying to consolidate our debt, but the banks won't let us because we're on one wage, they won't even do part of it. Some how they can't see if we consolodate it, we will be paying less money out, and would be less of a risk than now. Besides the fact that we have never missed any paymenst of anything, and DH is earnign enough to support us....stupid idiots. Plus DH might need surgery on his shoulder now, so we just have to wait and see whats happening with that. A few weeks ago we were laughing and in a great financial position, now we're up the s hit! We just got our elecrticity bill which was huge, then our strat came in and it's gone up AGAIN, for the 4th year running, and with DH not doing shifts he's not earning the extra $$ he was, which was a fair bit so now we have nothing spare.....arrgh!! Just when I though we had caught up and were going to be able to relax a bit!!
Sorry for the vent...money sucks!

Mel, how are you? I saw the picies of the boys on FB, they are getting sooo big!! Ben looks so big! How are you going with your pg? How far are you now too?

Ahh, the glamours of being a SAHM!! I am feeling better in myself the past few days, thank goodness. Though it is a rollercoaster, who know's whats coming over the next dip...

AFM, I am feeling much better, as I said. The kids are on the road to recovery and are sleeping better, which really helps me feel better. Looking forwards to this Wednesday when DH and I have soem time alone together for the first time in ages! The kids are going to day care and DH has the day off. I will be going to the GP to see what they will suggest for me, see if I do in fact have depression. But after that the day is ours! Other than that no news...very slow out here in the sticks!!

Hello to Mel, Kris and Jen

AFM- well... 37 weeks tomrrow. I am knackered after an horrendis night with Rebecca. She still hasnt had a sleep today so I am super cranky. Olivia has been delightful and is the best at saying a flat out no to most of our requests. She can be super helpful at times though! I fell over at the supermarket yesterday after stepping on a grape and did the splits. Luckily I have woken only with a bruised bum and more than likely pulled leg muscles coz I dont feel too bad! I am sad/angry that it happened coz I was doing so well doing stuff and its slowed me right down. Oh well, time to relax and try and enjoy these last few.....weeks? days? I have been having consistant pre labour pains again just like I had with Rebecca a few weeks before she was born. This time it wakes me around 445am and I have to breath through it! Yay! This morning I felt baby squirming her head down where the pain is... so shes fairly low now. Ok better run... try and get some rest.

HI girls,

Well, I have done waayy too much in the past few days...now I remember why I'd gotten so lazy! This morning I swept the paved area outside, which is rather huge. Plus I have hung out two loads of washing, folded and packed away 2 from yesterday, made tuna pasta salad for lunch, tidied the kids toyroom with them and emptied/filled the dishwasher. My back is killing me now and I can't get up from the lounge without having to brace myself. I have been needing to kind of fall off it very ungracefully so I can get onto my hands and knees then stand up slowly. My hipsand feet/ankles are aching too.

Kaz, thanks hun. I will have to see how I go. I am getting a bit anxious, but I know it needs to be done. I have been tempted not to go because this last week or so I have felt really good. I have been making myself do stuff and not dwell too much on what I can't change. But I also know it is just a matter of time before things get on top of me again. It always does. How are you going today? I hope Pip is better. On the bright side of having to get a new asthma kit, at least now you don't have to try to remember it all the time! You can leave one at home and one at school!!

Mel, I hope Bec is better for you today. And I hope you are feeling better after your fall. Did you tell anyone in the supermarket, or did someone that works there see you? If you need any treatment for it or anything, then they should be liable!! But it is a good time for you to take things easier and enjoy your girls while there is just the two of them!

AFM, well we have had an horrific few days, or weeks even!! The kids have been sick with colds and then Lily got slapped cheek and Liam got croup. Lily vommited a few times so I guess she had a tummy bug too, tho nothing too terrible. Now Liam has just vommited at the dinner table mid way though eating....I was fighting the urge to join him. I left DH to deal with cleaning it- he has a stomach of steel, I used to working in childcare but when I'm pg, particularly this pg, I just can't stand the smell or anything about it! Plus my gag reflex is so sensitive, I gag even when I brush my teeth... So I'm hoping it was just a one off thing and he's eaten too much or something and he's not going to be up all night puking every time he coughs I'm waiting for him to vomit again....He isn't sleeping well as it is and having him sick again well, it's just the icing on the cake!! Can't wait til they're better! They're jumping off the walls at the mo, so it seems the vomit was just a once off!
I went to the doc and he agrees I probably have depression. He's given me a referral for a psychologist. I ahve to make an appointment. I'm hoping she will have something to help me (though preferably not medication...)
Ok, off to put the monkeys to bed...hope all is well and weveryone is enjoying hteir long weekends!

Kel am glad you got some direction and are going to see someone. Youre having a bugger of a time with the kids and their sleep and being sick. Hope things get better.

How are you all....?

We are ok. I'm not feeling 100% today though and Lil and Li put me through my paces last night, tag teaming each other all night. I think I was awake every hour. No kidding. So over it. Just when I opened my big mouth and told mum they had been sleeping through the past 4 nights, and sleeping til at least 6.45 (5.45 non DLS time though! I am still adjusting...) most mornings. I'm never telling anyone if they're sleeping well again. Seriously I just jinx myself everytime. Now I have a headache, though I'm not sure if it's from not sleeping, having this cold or sinus or whatever it is, or from having an ear ache. Or maybe it's a migraine coming, which I haven't had for ages....since being pg, it feels like it's going to be one. The kids are behaving ok, though they are both tired since we woke at 5.50, or 4.50 in non DLS time. Grrrr.....I can feel today will not be a good day. Though if I feel like that I guess it will turn out to be like that. I will try to make an effort, but I so just want to curl up on the lounge and ignore everything except the tv. Why couldn't they have done this yesterday when they went to childcare and I could have had a rest...?? They like to torture me.

Mel, I hope you're going well and baby is getting her bum into gear to be born very soon! I hope the girls are being good and you are taking things easy.

Kris, hi!! How is the selling and moving going? I bet things are starting to happen now! How exciting for youall. I havee seen your lics on fb, you new place looks like it will be so peaceful and beautiful.

Am going ok, started getting back ache/period pain. Bubs is likely to be posterior os i need to turn her around so this doesnt kill my back. Girls have been good although Olivias attitude could be a lot better. Am over the NO all the time! My patience is thin at the minute.....

Well I've 2.5 weeks left at work. Pip's room is almost ready for carpet, DH wants to get him a firetruck bed and I'm about to paint his wardrobe and stuff. Pip saw the baby today, and was imitating the baby's hand over its eye on the u/sound. So cute!

Hey Kaz- yep its awkward.... the pressure is weird and its even weirder feeling movement around my bum!!! This little lady is very comfy and I dont think wants to go anywhere! Maybe I will have a relaxed lady on my hands, instead of the 2 firery ones I already have!!! As for the announcement..... I have fb on my phone so I wanted to pop something up there when I am done! We have some plans of how we hope the day will unfold. mum is coming to our house to stay with the girls until the baby is born. We will call her to bring them in and have some family time so they can be the first to meet their sister. Then we will call other family and send out text and I will pop it on fb. I think though I have your number in my phone so more than likely you will get a text:)

Good to see youre on the home stretch. How come you had a scan? Do you have a low lying placenta? Yay on finishing work soon and getting Pips room finished. I love the bed ..... do you know what gender you are having? Hope youre feeling well too:)

Yes, low-lying placeta, but it's now 4.5cm out of the way, so all's OK for the FBC!

I have our 32 week appt with the midwives tomorrow night - yay!!!!!

Kaz, yay @ not long left for work! That must feel good! I hope you're feeling ok with the SPD and stuff. My back/pelvis is ok if I don't move too much, lol! The last week or two I have really noticed that I need to stop doing so much. I rested all day the other day and did nothing but make food for everyone all day and I felt alot better for it. The yesterday I did a bit of cleaning and tidying then walked around doing the groceries and felt it last night and this morning. Home alone now for 3 days so I think I will be suffering for it :( not much I can do about it though!

AFM, well, as I said DH is away til Tue night in Sydney for work. So I am a single mummy for a few days. Not really looking forward to that! But one good thing is that DH has been given a few extra days off, so on Wed, we will have a day together kid free since the kids go to day care. Then next week we are going back to Sydney again, and DH has gotten an extra day off, so we will have some spare time there instead of the whirlwind visit it was going to be! My mum and dad have given me a bit of money for bub so we might be able to go on a bit of a shopping spree for him, so exciting!! I barely have anything for him, just a cot and about 5 singlets, 3 little outfits, 2 long sleeve onsies, 4 short onsies, some socks and bibs, oh and a few packets of nappies. I want to paint the room for him before he's born too, lol! It's sunshine yellow at the mo, so ugly!! We need a pram, a rocker, some sheets and blankets, more clothes....plus I will need some summer clothes for me, I have no shorts,skirts or anything! Just long winterish clothes besides a few t-shirts. I also need mat bras desperately! My boobies are growing even bigger! I dread to know what size they are now from the 16 E they were....eek! :o I had my glucose test the other day, so I will get the results next week. It wouldn't surprise me if I had it this pg...

Ok I'm going, have washing to hang out after our torrential downfalls and cyclonic winds we have just endured for the last few days!! I hope everyone is well!

Kel I am still here and I think your prediction migh be wrong. This is a pain in the back side! I'll be 40 weeks on Tuesday! I never been this far and it occured to me that this baby might be huge! OUCH!!!! Oh well. I have the text messages and phone calls and fb messages coming in asking if any movement.... ggr.... Its a Pain waiting... think I said that already! My sister extended her stay so she could meet the baby but has to fly out today to WA because her work wont give her more time. She has never seen any of my kids newborn so we are both a little disappointed. But what can you do! Maybe I might get a baby for my birthday on Wednesday!

Hi girls, just a very quick one from me, we are well. We go to Sydney today, well start the trip, we will most likely stop because Damien is working and I don't wnat him to drive the whole way in one night. Plus I don't know if I can sit in the same position for so long! Lily and Liam are being very well behaved lately (though I am sure that won't last long!) Lil is growing wayyy too fast and this morning she came to me for the first ime ever and told me 'Look mummy, I didn't wee in my nappy last night!!!" :o It was something I was totally not worried about, but now she's done it, maybe I should try to get her out of nappies full time...?? Though, I don't want to be getting up heaps to change wet sheets while she's learning....lazy mummy I know!
Baby is getting very strong and tres wiggly and sometimes scares me whne he kicks, lol! They are also getting uncomfortable! His movements are very obvious now and you can see them on the outside, lots of people have said "OMG, I saw that!!" when he kicks! My back/pelvis is not going so great some days I can barely move. I had a migrane yesterday too, and was in bed all arvo. I had my GD test a few weeks ago, though I'm not sure how the results went yet, I haven't been able to get back to the doctors because he had a car accident and has been in hospital with a brain injury! He's back to work this week though, so I will just have to get the midwives to call him when I have my appt this week in Sydney.
Ok gotta go and pack and get things done before we leave for Sydney this arvo. I am excited about being back in civilisation again though!! Even just for a few days... I hope everyone is well!

We are back from Sydney. It was a LOOONNGG drive! Very uncomfy for me and it has totally stuffed my pelvis and back. I acn barely walk without hobbling adn holding onto furniture. I am feeling rather sorry for myself! I don't look forward to the drive to Sydney when I'm 36/7 weeks pg to give birth. It will be terribly uncomfortable! We even stopped half way, so it was only 4hrs in the car either way, but it didn't help much. I am totally tired and exhausted and I couldn't sleep well at mums place either, and Liam got a huge fever on the way home, not sure what it was but I had to give him nurofen and panadol an hour later to get rid of it. He been captain sooky pants since then and I can't lift him at the mo and he really doesn't appreciate that!! We snuggle on the lounge but he wants me to carry him around while I do stuff, and I can barely walk let alone carry a 13kg toddler around!
I still haven't gotten my GCT results, though I have a sneaking suspicion I may have GD. Only because I am sooo big (my belly is) I had too much amniotic fluid with Liam and I feel like I did with him this time too, I am just huge. My belly feels alot bigger this time. I should pull out Liam's yellow card and have a look at it. So I either have GD an da huge bub (or extra huge in my case since my kids were generously proportioned anyway!) Or I'm just really fat. And a hypochondriac! I have been CRAVING sweet stuff like it's going out of fashion. I have been drinking alot and weeing alot, but I do that when I'm pg, it's not anything that's really different. Plus my pelvic floor muscles are shot so I pee alot anyway, lol...sorry tmi!! But we will find out on Wednesday for sure.
I had a midwives appt last week and all was well- BP, babys heart beat. Thankfully she didn't measure my fundus because that is always a rather large measurement! If I do have GD, or evern the polyhydramniosis again, I will be a high risk patient and that will really stuff us up being rural, because the hospital will want to monitor me, which will mean I have to drag the kids to stay in Sydney for 6ish extra weeks. I so don't want to and would go bananas if I had to live at my mothers for that long, and be pretty much a single parent for that long, and that far pg too....trying not to worry about it though since it's not happened yet!
Ok gotta go I can't sit here for too long, or my back screams at me to move!

Thanks girls for the congrats. Life is so very busy with 3.... I dont know how Kristie does it. Breast feeding sux and I am emotionally drained. I think I just have to come to the conclusion that my babies all dont want to suck. Anyway shes putting on weight with all the ebm... and did i say i hate expressing? awww mel, I'm sorry that the b/f isn't working out like you thought it would - I'm off to my first ABA meeting tomorrow, inspired by you! And I have a meeting with a LC on Friday next week too! How are you coping on your own with the 3 of them?

AFM - well oops, we are the bad parents of the day! Went out and got Pip his big-boy bed etc today, came home a bit sore so told DH I was going to have a lie-down and nap. (that was 3pm). Told him to take his mobile, but he left it with me? Anyhow it rings, I finally wallow around the bed to find it, see it's my friend who's little girl is in the same CCC as Pip and that it's past closing time for the CCC. Doh. Go out to find DH on the home phone with my friend, he'd fallen asleep watching teev too - thank goodness my friend was there, she picked up Pip and brought him home, else it's like $15 / 5 mins that you go past closing time!!!! ahhh well, least she has authoritaaayy to collect him!!!! And I had a good nap too ;) And tonight, Pip is sleeping in his new room on his new bed for the first time, he was so excited!!!

Oh thats too funny Kaz... oops! As long as you had a good sleep!!! Lucky your friend was there! Hey Kaz- do you want to organise a time/day to meet up with Kris before she moves? It will be easier now your not working. I think Kristie is free fridays which suit me too.... hope she pops in soon:)

Kel- hope youre well. Sounds like you are busy with the kids and feeling huge (oh I dont miss that) Hope you get good results back from your gd test.

AFM- I had a better day yesterday... am up and down like a yoyo with all this bfing stuff! I will have to go to an aba drop in soon as I cant keep affording all this extra help! My LC is good but she stopped calling after a while. I had this lady who came over to do reflexology with the baby. Shes also a midwife and she calls me more than the lc and I like her shes caring. So anyway Amy had a good try at the boob yesterday and managed 30 sucks in a row. It gives me hope that she can do it, now to just perservere.... and I hired the pump for 4 more weeks, so am hoping I have sorted it out eirther way by then. I am coping ok with 3 kids... the girls have been so good and patient. It does get hectic and trying but that can happen with 1 bub! I am trying to get out of the house now instead of sitting on the couch all the time. Its so hard when all you do is pump all day long! ok my time is up..... hugs and kisses to ya all!

Hi ladies!!

Got my GD results last week and all is well, I'm just a hypochondriac!! Although when I took the kids to another doc for something about THEM he kept looking at me funny and then said 'Do you have thyroid problems, you thyroid looks swollen?' Ummm, no! So he's ordered me to have an u/s for my thyroid and a blood test tomorrow to check my thyroid function!

The kids are being really great today. They're keeping each other busy and playing so nicely. I love days like this! Particularly when I am feeling like I am today with a sore back, hip and neck and I am sooo tired. I was up to Liam every two hours or so last night. Plus it is just really hard for me to get comfy and sleep these days!

Mel, how are you going hun? How is the bfing going and how are your gorgeous girls? Half of me can't wait for bubs to come and half of me is kinda scared of how I'm going to cope with the three of them!

Oooh I have thyroid problem - it's the Adam's apple that gets swollen! So if you have a pronounced Adam's apple, that can be a reason. It is worth getting checked out as it can impact on fetal development and b/fing too. (just discovered that last night).

Yeah, I will get it checked for sure. I know it can have serious impact on things. Could be part of why I'm so tired and getting depressed..... But then the tiredness could be part of the depression and the depression could be part of the sleep deprivation...who knows! It's an evil cycle whatever it is! I kinda hope I have something so it is easier to 'cure' than the depression is! But then I don't want any kind of chronic illness either (though that's what depression is lol!) Damien so lovingly told me he thinks it's nothing to do with my thyroid, that I'm fine, it's just that I'm getting really fat and so is my neck. Nice. Thanks babe. Way to make your 30wk pg wife feel better.

Hi girls!!

Totally over being pg. I hate the restrictions I have on me and I hate feeling like I do. The only good thing is the bubby in my belly. Everything else for me totally sucks! (Sorry if that offends anyone, but thats how it is for me). My kid free days are lovely and very much looked forwards to! I have been busy for that last few though, with D's and my wedding anniversary on one, his birthday on another and helping out a friend on another! Plus I make my doc's appointments on those days, so blood tests and checkups are those days too. But I usually get in a nanna nap and have made a point of going to one of the (two!) local cafes for breaky or morning tea. On my own or I invite one or two of the other mummies to come and keep me company. I had the most devine honey and macadamia nut cheese cake last week, OMG *drooool!!* I will have to go back this week and see if they still have some, it's the cake of my dreams! And I'm usually a chocolate chicky! Hehehe!


Well, we are almost there!! I *think* I'm 32ish weeks today....wow! Alot of people are telling me I have dropped, which I think I have too, unless baby's bum just isn't up in my ribs anymore, lol! But I think he's still head down. The pain in my back has changed too, which makes me think he's moved. It's now more in my hips and pelvis rather than back, though that stillhurts too! My heartburn/reflux isn't so bad either so I think that's a result of baby now squishing my stomach anymore! Still lots of movements and squirming in there. I think he likes to roll around alot cuase there's not so much kicks as that rolly polly feeling, just big slow movements that make me feel sick sometimes! I have been getting BH like they're going out of fashion. I can't hardly move without getting one. When I do alot or get really upset, I think I've been having a few real contractions too. Nothing regular and nothing I'm really worried about, but I am trying not to do alot of physical stuff, which is making me crazy (I'd be terrible if put on bed rest!), or get too upset or worked up.
My belly seems to have slowed with it's growth! It's not as huge as it seemed a few weeks ago, lol! Sleeping is just a fruitless effort for me. My hips hurt and I just can't get comfy. Like at the end of my other two pg's the best place for me to sleep at themo is on the lounge! But DS still needs DH or I to sleep with him, so we alternate who sleeps in there, and when I do I just have to resign my self to the fact that I won't be sleeping that night! Between DS literally sleeping on top of me, him waking at least 2 times, DD occaisionally waking and me waking to pee, or just being uncomfy, I think I might get about 4hours sleep!
I am still feeling terribly disorganised for bub. I had wanted to paint the room and decorate it al little but funds are really tight at the moment so I don't know if we will manage that right now. Plus we still don't have all the furniture we need, like a change table or a chest of drawers! And I still need to buy DD a booster seat so baby can have her baby car seat (a convertable SnS). Arrrgh!! I guess it's lucky we don't have a car anyway, lol...the car seat doesn't matter so much right now! But we do need to get one and God know's how that will happen since the stupid banks won't let us consolidate our debts and give a measely $12000, which we have proven we can pay back....grr, anyway, enough of that!

Ok, there's a fight in the loungeroom, gotta sort it out! Hope all is well with everyone, sorry for no personals!

Hey Kel- I saw you had a good sleep last night... yay for you. I hope your monkeys start sleeping well all the time. Time goes fast at this end of things, I hope you can sort it all out in time. Did you organise to get another car? Hows DHs shoulder?

Kaz- sorry we missed you yesterday, I hope you are doing well. Hows it all going with b/f stuff? I am glad I got help beforehand. I hope you have success with it but please dont put pressure on yourself if it doesnt. I have found that I am so much more relaxed and willing to work with it for longer and my mental health is not suffering as much. I still am expressing and bottle feeding for every feed but each time I put her to the boob she seems to be making progress. I am also taking her to osteo so am hoping that will soon start making a difference. I spoke with my LC last night and decided that if Amy hasnt made any significant improvement by the 3rd osteo session that I will start to look at changing her over to formula. However I was googling last night and it was suggested that 5kgs is a magic turn around point for babies as they are bigger and stronger.... so if I can stick it out til then I will definately give it a bell... if not oh well I tried! Shes putting on about 420gms each fortnight so maybe by the time shes 8 to 10 weeks she will be ok? Anyway, all the best for your birth. Did you go early with Pip or over?

Kris- good to see you and the boys. Olivia loved it to bits. Thanks for showing me your car too.... got to say I like it and will definately look around. The only thing that worries me is the leg room for the back row..... Hope your semi move went ok too last night.

Sorry about yesterday, I didn't wake up until 12:00 and ended up going into Belgrave / Earthly Pleasures. Totally over the pregnancy! Mel, are you in ABA? There's a book I've borrowed from our branch library, "Increasing your milk supply" which is quite interesting, might be worth seeing if your branch has a copy. That's a good weight gain isn't it?

Pip was induced at 8 days over, saw the midwife yesterday and we're still at 4/5 but she doesn't have any idea how "cooked" Quoll will be! I am just over it all to be honest - my pelvis is killing me sitting, standing, lying and when Trev drives it throws me around and is so painful! Thank goodness Pip's pregnancy wasn't like this, else we wouldn't be going back for a second. Voted 2 weeks ago at an early polling centre, couldn't handle the thoughts of standing in queue!

Pip's being semi-adorable when he's not being a total pain, at the moment he's screaming cause we put him in his room for kicking Trev :( But last night he was telling the midwife that he would share his underpants (?) with the baby!

Am not in ABA but have been there for the drop in centre. Also I have milk... I am pumping now as I trype with my lovely double pump and the hadns free bra I made with a crop top! This morning I pumped around 140mls each side. Usually I get anywhere between 90mls and 130 each side. So supply aint an issue for me. Shes not great on attachment and when she does get on she falls asleep. I have tried shields but they hurt so bad. I apparently have large nipples.... so mine are like the diametre of big chalk and normal are like pencils... so with her tiny mouth shes had a hard time getting on. She is getting better though but she needs to wake up and start drinking!
I can totally understand you being over it. Hopefully youll be finished soon enough.

Well I'm averaging getting to sleep around 2:30 / 3am, 4 some mornings, and DH takes Pip for morning activities...I usually get up around 10:30 / 11 though :(

Mel, sounds like things are going pretty well. I'm so glad to hear that!
Yep, got one good nights sleep. DH let me sleep in our bed without the kids, shut the door and rest as long as I wanted. He can be so generous sometimes. I think he just know's I'm really getting to the end of my tehter. Some days moreso than others. This last week or so has been tough. I'm very teary over stupid stuff. I had been feeling pretty good despite my stupid back, but now it's getting worse and it's all too much. But DH has been great doing stuff and not complaining at all.
DHs shoulder seems to be getting better by the day. He had it treated the week before last and the doctor just confirmed that he can go back to full duties at work yesterday. YAY!! I think he's pretty chuffed, though he's not saying it, lol! He will still have to get his gun liscence renewed to be able to be back to full duties though because he's been off for so long, so that will most likely take us til next year anyway, but hey, he's well again, and at least he will be able to do some more differnt stuff at work than just paper work!
As for a car, well, we will be getting one, but totally not what we wanted. The banks just will NOT give us an extension on our loan so we can't get a bigger car. We are going to buy one off a work colleague of DH's. It's a medium car about the same size of the one we have. It will do and I am totally greatful that it's there. It sounds like a great deal, though I have no idea about cars! I had to swallow my pride and ask my nan to loan us $3000 so we can buy it. It was one of the most difficult things I have done! She had no issues of doing it and has actually given it to us, which I kinda thought she would, but that was just not the point. I was in tears by the end of the conversation, lol! My nan is the best and is always there for whoever needs her. She's a gorgeous lady!

Kaz, sorry to ehar you're not sleeping. I've been a bit like that. I'm not even bothering to try to go to bed before 11pm these days, even though I feel like I could sleep a day away, I just can't fall asleep. The anxiety and pain is doing nothing for me!

AFM, well, just plodding along. I can't believe there is just over 7wks til baby is due to come! It really is flying. I can remember just a few weeks ago I was hanging out for it to go faster and now it's flying by and I can't keep up. Feeling a bit miserable actually. Very sick of my back and not being able to move much. I have really over done things the past few days and I am paying today, living off panadol which is doing nothing much at all and just trying not to move. At one time last night I got up to go to the loo and just cried because moving my right leg hurts so much. But I am so bored and feel terribly sorry for women who end up on bed rest due to pregnancy. I couldn't imagine how boring and frustrating that would be, especially with other children.
We moved DD into her own room yesterday. She had been sharing with DS because the bedroom we put them into was just so HUGE! And they were used to sleeping in the same room from when we lived in the unit. But Lil was so absolutely excited about having her own room and keeps telling me that it's beautiful! She even went to sleep by herself for the first time in....at least a year! Without me or DH laying with her. She has just grown up soooo much in the past few weeks. She's night toilet trained herself all of a sudden too. Just went from one week waking with wet nappies, to the next week having dry nappies and not weeing in her bed yet (and it's been about 3weeks!).
DS is going through a terribly sooky laalaa me me me it's all abotu me stage. He constantly wants me to pick him up and I just can't, so he throws tantys and cries and follows me sooking all day. He's driving me bananas because it isn't that I don't want to cuddle him, I'm just not able to much, plus having them on me at the moment is just intolerable sometimes. I can't handle them being on me or at me or nattering about inane things all day. I'm feeling quite trapped sometimes. Just due to hormones and not being able to do things, but I hate feeling like this!! Part of me just wants baby to come but part of me is scared of having a newborn again! Sleepless nights, two other children....sometimes I just think I'm crazy for having another, lol! Especially when the other two are getting abit more independant, especially DD.

Ok gotta go, kids are hungry....again!

Well, we are going ok. Except for the rain! I wish it would bugger off, it's even raining out here in the outback, I though it was supposed to be red dust and dirt storms out here!! Thoguh in a wya it's good because it's keeping those freaky locusts away!! I hate the locusts! My poor DD has kittens whenever she sees one flying around! I do too, but try to look brave for the kids, lol!
My back and pelvis still suck, but that's par for the cousrse now. I guess 3 kids in 4 years would do that to you!! I so miss my bady from then, lol!! I used to be so fit and slim compared to now! I used to walk everywhere, swim for exercise, go to the gym, fit into size 12 clothes...lol!! Ahh, the memories! And I worked FULLTIME as a childcare worker until I was 35wks when pg with Lily! :OMG: I couldn't even imagine one day working with the pg! It's such an effort to just walk the 20min round trip to the grocery shop! And it's all flat road, lol! Then I also worked part time with Liam's pg until 33wks...eekk! I just can't wait til I have myself back. I'm really trying not to wish time away, but I just ant to be me again and sort myself out, emotionally and physically. I over being so overweight and overemotional....it's just so sucky!

Baby Heff is doing well. He is kicking the crap outta me and is giving me some lovely (not!) cervix kick shocks too. Such a horrible feeling! Still have a horrible achey pelvis and hips, but that's par for the course now I guess. I am going to go through his things we have today and see what else we need/want. I have been informed that I will be having a baby shower in a few weeks (the day before we drive back to my mum's in Sydney for preparations for birth!) yay!! My first baby shower, believe it or not, lol!! I can't believe that we will be due to have babies in 6-7ish (+) weeks!! After such a looong pg, these last weeks are flying! I had my checkup the other day and all seems well with bub too. His heart beat was about 135, but he kept rolling away from the doppler so the doc couldn't get a propper reading, lol! I have put on about 10kgs so far and I ahve ahad a nice little chat with Heffalump that he can't make mummy too much fatter, lol! But if I think of it rationally, I expect him to be about as big as DS was, which was 4.2 kg, so 10-12kg in the grand scheme isn't really alot I guess, when you factor in amniotic fluid, blood, boobies and just all the other stuff related to being pg! I'm just a bit paranoid since I was overweight before being pg and I only put on 9-10kg with DS's adn DD's pgs full term. But I am not doing much at all in the way of movement since my back/pelvis is too bad to move much. Ah well, I will get it off afterwards!

Tomorrow we are having DH's work chrissy party. Lily is sooo excited and has been counting down for days! She even cried this morning because it was raining and she thought she couldn\t go to the party, poor poppet! I had to explain she had one more night time sleep to go and even if it was raining we were still going to the party! I'm looking forward to it too, no cooking, yummy food and a jumping castle, plus the 15 or so other kids that will be there to keep my monkeys entertained! Hopefully DH won't get tooo drunk! Though I do wish I could join him, lol!
Lil is now sleeping in her own room. And she has night toilet trained herself!! We decided to move her into the babys room and when bub is ready to go into his room, he can share with Liam. Liam is still cosleeping withone of us. Bub's cot is in the spare room at the moment with our spare double bed which is where I plan on sleeping with baby...so I have no idea how it will work, but it will just have to, lol!! At least Lily sleeps most nights through now! She is just being such a pleasure at the moment,she's so gorgeous!!
Liam is gorgeous too, though he's being a bit of a cling on sooky lalaa lately! He's been wanting me to pick him up alot and then whinging becuase I can't. And he's also hurting and pushing Lily around somedays, which he hasn't really done much of at all. Still not eating well at dinner time, but I am so over it, I just don't care anymore. He eats and wats allll day, so he's not starving, but he just flatly refuses to eat dinner unless there is a fresh cob of corn there or sausages, and even then it's hit and miss with sausages these days, or he will eat pizza, but only store brought! He had been eating fish fingers and chicken nuggets (both homemade) and spaghetti with mince, but now he just won't. I have no idea why. But feed him something like yoghurt and he will devour it and ask for more. Or fruit, he would eat a whole punnet of strawberries, a banana, watermelon and an apple if that was what was on offer. Maybe I should just give him that....but then I want him to eat his veggies and meat too. And I don't want to be making two different things every night. If he doesn't eat now, he just goes to bed hungry. Like last night. He hadn't eaten anything 'propper' since about 2pm yesterday, and went to bed without eating at all. He took over an hour to get to sleep and through the night I heard his little tummy rumbling. God I felt like one shi tty mother then! But I'm just not going to give in! He will either get used to not eating, or he will eat what I give him!! Aaarrrgh!! I so don't know what to do! Lily has always been a pretty good eater and now she will eat almost anything, she will at least try anything.
