BS - I love the new piccie of Eva in you signature.
Suz - Thanks for the reassurance on the length of Liam's feeds, it's funny how you think everything's fine until someone mentions that their baby does something differently, then you start to wonder if you're doing it right. Liam seems very happy, and I've been trying to offer him more the last day or two and he just doesn't seem to want it, so I'll keep doing what works.
The Wii Fit would be so cool, I've been tempted, but I've bought things like that in the past and they just end up as dust collectors. Maybe Cupid will bring me one for Valentines Day.
Don't worry about Ryan's immunisations being late, there are plenty of people who choose not to immunise at all so two weeks is no biggie.
How sweet about Craig climbing in with Ryan, I'm sure they'll be best mates when they're older.
Alison - How scary! I guess when the time comes you'll have to decide how important a VBAC is to you. I'm guessing you'd have to be very unlucky to get the same type of rare infection twice, I don't really think you'd be risking your second bub by attempting VBAC, but you'd need to do some research. At the end of the day our healthy babies are what matter, so you'll do what feels right for you. Sorry, I'm sure you've explained but I'm way behind, why are you looking for a new pram? In any case I don't blame you for wanting a different one. That's how we got ours, some friends bought it and hated it so got another one. It's not bad really, and for free I'm willing to put up with it.
Tilda - So glad Matilda is feeding like Liam too, I don't feel like I'm doing wrong at all now!
Lani - Great to hear about Jett's feeding. Is Infacol like Infant's Friend? How often do you give it to Jett?
I hope the meeting with the minister goes well.
AFM - Just when I thought Liam's nights were getting good, I was up at 11, 1 and 4 last night, for about 45 mins each time. ARGH! And when we tried to sleep in a single bloody fly found it's way into the bedroom and kept landing on us both. GAH! Oh well, at least I don't have to go anywhere today, I can just laze about the house doing what I want. I'm going to do a power yoga practice now while Liam's asleep, 1kg to go and back to pre-pregnancy weight!
Rose - The feeding pillows are awesome. Ryan is having a day like Liam's after being immunised today. Hope the rest of your week gets better. Is the Mei Tai like a Hug A Bub but cheaper?
Sesame - Gotta love You Tube for learning how to do things! The ring sling sounds like it was exactly what Liam needed today. How's he doing? Saw your FB status, congrats to DH
Alison - Are you worried that the mini-pill will further reduce your supply? Sesame's suggestion to ring the ABA is a good one. There might be something else you can try before going the prescription drugs. I noticed that Ryan gets a log more milk without the nipple shields than he did with them. He gained a lot more weight and spaced his feeds out further. Yay for Amelia's big sleep! Hope she keeps it up.
AFM - Immunisations were worse this time because I knew what to expect! Poor Ryan, it was the first time I've seen him really cry and the first time with tears. But I popped him straight on for a BF and he was fine. However, he's been really windy and crying a lot this afternoon. I've held off on giving him baby panadol so far and hope he sleeps OK tonight. On a positive note, DH and I DTD! Still haven't sorted out the longer term contraception.
Ryan's crying again, time to go.
