Hi girls! It's been really hard to get to the computer and when I do something interrupts me or mum's computer plays up on me and won't let me log in. So I'm hoping I actually can get a post out. Sorry if I miss people. I'm a bit behind!
Hi Suz - Your poor DH! It must be really painful. And poor you with a toddler and a cluster feeder to look after on top of a sore and sorry DH! I hope he mends quickly. Perth has been great! But soooooo hot! I am NOT used to the heat any more. Hobart has made me soft LOL. I'm staying a bit longer than expected cause DH has flown off to Sydney for some consulting work. I thought I may as well hang out here.
Hi Kanda - I'm glad the increased dose of antidepressants is helping. It's great that you're keeping an eye on the PND. Isn't it great that there's stuff out there that can help! It must have been shocking 60 years ago before these meds were available. I'm sure the scans will go just fine. These things usually turn out to be nothing thank goodness.
Hi Alison - it does sound like a growth spurt. At least these phases usually pass eventually. Good on you for starting the scrap book. I've done absolutely nothing like that yet.
Hi Lani - how wonderfully considerate Jett was to let you get through your entire wedding anniversary dinner without a peep. It sounds like he's in a great routine which must make planning outings so much easier.
Hi BS - a migraine! Ouch! I wish we had IKEA in Hobart. Just another thing we don't have. Groan....
Perth girls - I'm looking forward to catching up on Wednesday! I'll bring a cake or something.
AFM- Things have been so hectic in Perth but in a really good way. It has been really great to be able to introduce Matilda to all our friends here and Mum and Dad have loved spending some more time with her. And I think Matilda has loved all the attention and socialising. We went to a big party that DH's aikido club put on on Saturday night and a wedding last night. Matilda hardly slept but seemed to love watching everyone - she's been quite the social butterfly. She has also settled into an amazingly settled pattern. Hooray! She doesn't seem to fight sleep anymore. It's like she's worked out sleep is actually a good thing and even asks to go to bed by grizzling and nuzzling into my neck and rubbing her eyes. It's really quite cute! I'm not sure if its the lay out of the house, the very stable temperature in the aircon, the wrapping, or just her. Maybe its the 3 month hump! Anyway, I'll try and enjoy it while it lasts. She's also discovered her feet. She was sitting on the arm of an arm chair with her feet on mum's lap and started staring at her feet with this realisation on her face that they belonged to her. She sat there for ages rubbing her toes on Mum's skirt. The later she started kicking at a toy really deliberately and fiddling with it with her toes. I'm feeling really annoyed that I didn't get more video of her as a new born. It always just felt so busy and its easy to forget they change so quickly. Well, I'm going to go and eat chocolate icecream and watch Desperate Housewives.
It may not have been the bathwater upsetting Amelia's tummy after all. We had a couple of good nights last week, but the last 3 have been terrible. Amelia has been chucking a lot accompanied by crying and squirming. She feeds, she chucks and might have a 30 min sleep if I'm lucky before waking thirsty. She'll have a short feed to quench her thirst, sleep another 30 mins maybe before feeding, which starts the whole process again. Yesterday morning I was up from 1 until 8am. DH woke me when he left for work at 1pm. Eventually I woke Amelia at 4pm because I was worried about her going so long without a feed given how much she brings up. The poor thing is as exhausted as I am each morning.
We visited a GP today. It was a new doc as I couldn't get in to see my regular. Her weight gain is on track (5.9kg) and she seems otherwise well but he gave me a referral for a paediatrician anyway. But I have to wait 2 weeks! I hate seeing her in so much pain. Plus she doesn't seem herself. She isn't interested in her toys, she doesn't make eye contact and I haven't heard a giggle in days. I'm getting occasional smiles, but she isn't smiling with her eyes.
Anyway, I'm off to catch some zzz's while she's sleeping.
I hope everyone is well. Cuddles for all the bubs.
It's been very quiet in here - hope that you're all doing well.
Hannah - Have you thought about giving Amelia some infant gaviscon? Could be worth a try. It does sound a bit like reflux. Poor her, and poor you I hope the ped can sort it all out.
AFM - Liam was really unsettled again over the weekend during the day, but he had good nights (only waking 1-2 times). I think the heat is really getting to him. So glad that it's going to be cooling down now. He had a good day today, too, so hopefully the worst has passed. Heh, and as I typed that he started grizzling on DH's lap.
Looking forward to meeting the Perth girls tomorrow! Warn your bubs, I'll probably take a million photos of them
Hi Tilda - I can't wait to meet you guys tomorrow, I'm really excited. I've got some mini muffins to bring, I can't eat them thanks to my wheat intolerance but I figured I don't need them anyway with this 6 kgs to lose! lol
Hi Hannah - my goodness poor you and Amelia, you both must be shattered! I hope the ped sorts it out soon but like Rose said, sounds like reflux, my friend's bub had it bad and was like that, she got no sleep at all for the first 6 months but once they sorted it out he got better and all went back to normal. Fingers crossed thats soon for you. The darn emoticons aren't working so I'll say hugs to you. xx
Hi Rose - Amelia has been unsettled since last Wednesday too, combo of the horrible heat and I'm assuming growth spurt. She's been eating more and grizzly which is unlike her. Had a great night last night, 10.00 pm to 7.30 am straight but who knows tonight. I'm over this heat, I love summer but I've had enough of the really hot days. I want to get out and exercise but it's too hot and it really unsettles the bubs doesn't it! Looking forward to seeing you tomoz though.
Hi Beany - see you tomoz, your FB movie of Michael is incredible, wow, he's going to slip crawling for sure! lol Looking forward to meeting you both tomorrow.
Hi to everyone else, hope you and your beautiful bubs are all well.
Hannah - oh dear, I hope the paed has a solution for you. You must be so exhausted. You sound like you are coping really well. Glad the weight gain is on track, thats got to be good
Tilda - Tahts great Matilda seems to be a more settled routine! Lets hope she takes that back to Tassie with her! Aww, Michael does the same thing when he's tired. He smooshes his face into me and rubs it...he ends up with rough cheeks tho cos I usually have a terry-towelling nappy on my shoulder. But its sooo cute!
Suz - Oh my goodness! Sounds like you ahve a lot on your plate atm! Sorry to hear about your DH, thast all you need. You're wonderwoman! The ones I bought off ebay were Grobags, they have sooo many 2nd hand ones. Most of the ones I have received have been in A1 condition, except for one I got today had a bit of staining around the neck...ick...must get the nappysan or something onto that!
kanda - Sounds like a lovely trip you have planned! That would so nice! Blimey, how the heck do you get time to do a leg of lamb and make a cake?? I'm ashamed to say dinner at our house is usually whatever is quick and easy. Even resorted to using jar sauces! I swore I'd never do that!
Rose - It has been rather quiet here, hasn't it? We're all busy being wonderful mummies!
Alison - I'm the same, I normally prefer summer over winter any day...but I'm completely over this heat!!! I think I feel it more because I stress about Michael getting too hot. Plus can't go out...etc, etc. Blerghhh...but meant to be cooling down over the next few days. That was crazy what Michael was doing in that video - DH was just holding him and he started taking steps! Its like, how the heck does he know thats what he has to do?? Wierd! I ran and grabbed the camera as quick as I could!
Hello to all the other lovely mummies!
Tilda, Alison & Rose - I shall see you guys tomorrow! Feels wierd saying that, ha! I hope Michael will be ok, he can get a bit cranky during feeds so I apologise in advance!
AFM - Michael has been fantastic today, visited MIL and he was sooo full of smiles, real big ones and he was looking right at her and smiling and giggling and talking. It was so lovely to see. But this moring at home, I tried him in his walker, he can't touch the floor yet, but I thought I'd take him for a bit of a 'ride' in it, pushing him around. But I got carried away and went too fast & he got a bit upset. I feel really bad Poor little fella. Anyway, lesson learned! Those difficult feeds with him stiffening up and crying heaps seem to have disappeared as quickly as they came, thank goodness. He is still a little bit cranky when I burp him, but thats normal for him.
Hannah, you should try the medicine...Eva has changed so much since I started it - it took about a week to really settled her but it is so great now, I don't know how I did not start using it sooner. Good luck you poor thing - I know how hard it is to see baby crying and not eating well...
Rose, good that you take pics! We can all live vicariously through your photos - wish I could be there!
Beany, that video is amazing! I remember that it was one of the reflexes they tested on eva as a newborn at the hospital but they siad it usually disappears around one month, so Michael is probably going to walk fast!!!
Alison, good idea to get those muffins out of the house - I have also banned all sweets from my house!
Quick update - Eva has been doing great - she had three or four night where she stayed up crying until about 930/10pm but then slept well (she actually sleeps through the night finally, but she wakes up crying a bit around 2 or 3 and by the time I get to her she is back asleep, so I have to train myself not to jump out of bed!) She slept from around 9:30 to about 530 those first few nights with two wakings in the middle of the night but she fell back asleep...Last night though!!! DH and I decided that she is complaining because we put her to bed too early, like Hannah, so we decided to change bedtime to 930 to see what happens...so she had her bath at 6 and then went down for an hour nap then when she woke up instead of trying to put her back to bed, we played with her had her at the table with us during dinner etc, then I fed her at 9 and we put her down around 930, well guess what? She slept through until 630!!!!!!!! She had one little cry at 320am or so but again was sleeping once I got to her room so it was just a dream or a dummy cry...I could not believe it! And this medicine is working wonders! She is giggly and happy all day and sleeps better and eats huge meals and lets out huge burps, so everything here is going really great I am really feeling happier at the moment because I can see her enjoying her daily routine so much more! She also LOVES the big bathtub and kicks around and loves the running water etc...
She has also been super clingy with me but I like it - she was not super cuddly before and now she seems to always want to nuzzle in my lap - might just be a phase but I'll take it! I feel like she is going to be a very independent little toddler, more interested in looking around and seeing things than clinging to her parents so I am enjoying her gripping my neck and nuzzling her face in my arms when she wants cuddles
I have been getting out for hour walks almost daily and if not the half hour at least Every day (except sunday since there was a bad storm and I was scared of branches falling on her head!)...and I am at the trainer three times a week now..still no loss but I feel better so I'll just keep at it until this fat disappears! I was fat in high school so am really scared to stay heavy since I work very hard to stay thin...That's why I was so upset when I could not exercise anymore after my fifth month!
We've been so quiet because we're all on FB! I love all the pics and videos. It's like I've met you all in person, without ever actually doing so.
Beany - Like BS said, looks like Michael still has his walking reflex. Ryan's is gone now, but he used to do a great Thunderbird impression Your boy has strong legs. Does he push up with his legs and want to stand all the time? Craig did all of that and walked the day after his 1st birthday. That's not early, but big boys are meant to be slower. You've inspired me to get the Jolly Jumper out for Ryan. Wow, Grobags cost so much that I didn't get any for Craig. In fact the friends who had them only had 1 or 2 in each size because they cost so much. I might look into some second hand ones for Ryan. Hurry up Wonder Weeks, I want my copy too!
Tilda - I hope Matilda takes that settled pattern back to Tassie with you. Fingers crossed for you that it is the 3 month hump and not her Grandparent's house.
Kanda - Love the pics and video on FB! The girls look great, Sienna is such a cutie pie and Lila's got gorgeous hair and such an expressive face. Hope your days (and nights) are getting better.
Willow - Damn it's cold here! Not that 26 degrees is freezing, but where did Summer go? Are you feeling it too? How's Harry doing? How's the back? Off to the Chiro again?
Sesame - How's the teaching going? How's Liam?
Alison - That's a neat ploy, to make regular muffins so you can't eat them Love the pic of Amelia on FB with the frangipani flower behind her ear. Just beautiful. Hope Amelia's sleep settles back down and it gets cooler for you.
Hannah - Glad you went to see a GP and have a referral to a Paed. Hopefully they can sort out why Amelia is chucking so much at night, but it's a shame you have to wait 2 weeks. One of my friends had a bub who had bad reflux and the infant Gaviscon was a life saver for her, so it's worth a try before you see the Paed. Have a chat to your Pharmacist. At least her weight gain hasn't been affected. Hugs to you both, hope both of you are feeling happier and more comfortable soon.
Brussels - Enjoy those cuddles! I have a very independent toddler, but he still comes up and gives me a kiss and a cuddle every so often, just doesn't necessarily want cuddles when I do. You're so good getting out and walking! Don't worry, I'm sure the weight will shift. Eva sounds like she's doing so much better now.
Rose - Love the FB pics of Liam! Can't wait to see pics of the Perth bubs together, hope you get to take some.
Carmey - Love the FB pics of Jack! I can't believe how grown up he looks. Hope you're all going well.
Lani - Happy Anniversary! I bet it was nice to go out for dinner and relax.
Perth Girls - Have a great meet today! Hope it's not too hot for you and that it cools down at night so the bubs sleep.
AFM - I'm hanging out by the letterbox waiting for all my internet purchases to arrive. I got some stuff off Catch of the Day on Monday, but am waiting on some breast pads, Wonder Weeks and a potty training kit. After a week Craig is still having a lot of accidents but I think we'll perservere. DH has been at work all week (he's a mechanic with his own workshop) he says he feels better after moving around. I guess there's nothing they can do for broken ribs except give him pain meds and he's already got those. Last night I made up a photo book (Big W) for my Dad for his birthday, some birthday cards for my Dad and Grandad and a calendar for us (can't wait 'til they get here!). My laptop stopped reading SD cards when I upgraded it to Windows 7, but I fixed it yesterday and posted a heap of stuff to FB. I've been so busy there's no time to think about my baby weight or exercising. Ryan is a little star and just gorgeous. Life just seems to go on around him and whenever I feel a bit overwhelmed he's always got a smile or giggle for me. Off to Target tomorrow to buy Thomas the Tank Engine undies for Craig and a few other things in their sale.
Hi Girls - well what a fabulous day, finally met up with the Perth girls, Beany, Rose, Tilda, I had such a wonderful day and it was so great to meet you and your beautiful bubbies in person, let's do it again! Kate, when you're in Perth in May let's arrange another! Sorry I talked so much, I got in the car and thought oh no I talked too much ha ha - I was so excited I just couldn't contain it lol! I told DH that I talked the leg off the chair and he was not at all surprised, how rude lol! But seriously, it was so great and thanks again Stephanie for having us at your house and for taking those gorgeous shots....DH has also been reminded that I want an SLR camera, even moreso now!
After I got home I got a text from another friend reminding me that we were meeting for a walk so I was only home half an hour and had to go out again but it was only 5 minutes down the road. We went for a lovely hour walk along the coastal path with our bubs, was a bit scary dragging my shorts out and they only just fit - obviously need to continue those walks then! You don't realise how fat you've got until you try your old clothes on, I used to play tennis at lunch time in those shorts right up until I got pregnant and they were loose on me then!
Anyway, Amelia is fast asleep now, she's pooped after today so hopefully she'll give me another good night.
Had a lovely day with the Perth BellyBelly girls(and Tilda!), was so nice meeting you all and you're all just as lovely as I thought you'd be And what lovely little bubbies you all have! Thanks again, Rose And I want one of those camera's too...they take so much better shots than a 'normal' camera.
Suz - Oh, I didn't realise it was a relflex they have! Makes sense as to how he knows what to do then! Yes, he does push up with his legs & want to stand all the time, he'd do it forever if my arms didn't get tired!...like when I'm picking him up he puts his legs out like he wants to stand...but I'm beginning to worry that its damaging his spine tho, us letting him stand and 'walk', but he gets narky if we don't let him! Hmm, might be a question for the CHN. Yeah, Grobags are ridiculously expensive new...I refuse to pay that much! What is Catch of the Day, by the way? And yes, I'm losing stacks of hair too V sad.
BS - yeah, I have the same problem with jumping out of bed when I hear him during the ngiht, only to find that he's back asleep by the time I get to him! I'm sooo glad that stuff is working for Eva! Goodness me, I dont' know how you get the energy to do all that exercise! Its an effort for me to do a bit of housework, never mind a workout! Good on you!
Alison - Haha! I had the exact same experience withthe shorts...I can't get them past my thighs!! Ah well..still 8kg to go...
AFM - Had the most wonderful time when I got home from our meeting...played with Michael on our bed. He was giggling and talking. I loved it! And he gave me a hickey! On my collarbone! Gees he sucks hard, it hurt. No wonder my poor boobies were torn to shreds
Okies, bedtime now. Hope you all have a good night.
Suz, everytime I go in the shower to wash my hair I scream - I have lost the equivalent of two heads of hair...It is scary - I literaly had to cut the hair off of my comb last time since it was so much it would not come off! My body hair is all falling out too...I was getting a fuzzy belly during the pregnancy and now everything is smooth and bald, so at least that is good. I am holding out for NY to get my hair cut - I am going to go shoulder length for the first time in about 10 years! Then grow it back out. My hair is at my lower back now! but thin and long is not so nice.
Alsion, good for you being so active - I always need abit of time to decmpress after an outing, I hate going right back out -so good that you went walking and you look gorg in your pic A nice camera is a great idea - I did not realize what a diff the camera makes in the pics until FIL lent us his! You can see that now I go nuts on the pictures!
Beany, if it hurts him, he'll let you know - if he wants to stand it is beacuse he's ready That little champ Eva is doing the same - Only wants to stand and practice sitting up straight all the time. We put her on our knees sitting and she pushes up her head and back then slumps and does it again then holds it and turns her head side to side It's amazing to see how they change.
Rose, gorgeous pics! Liam is so cute in his little animal print nappies!
Carmey, saw your new pics on facebook - your body looks amazing good job girl! And jack looks like a little man, I love his faces! You must laugh so much with him!
Everyone else, Hello!!!
AFM another night from 930-650!!!! Still woke up for two cries at 3 and at 530 but she was asleep again once I got to her...so it is getting better - I managed to stay put for the 3am cry but still could not resist getting up just to check I am sure that will wear off soon!
I got Eva a new playmat because the one we have was a gift and it is pink and the colors not bright enough and I find it lacks a bit of stimuative toys and sounds so I got a new one (I'm nuts, I know) and she LOVEs it! there is a little monkey that makes music, and she kicks it non stop and is grabbing and much more engaged, so I was right in thinking that my girl loves brighter colors like her mama! She had such a blast on that thing that she is now sleeping soundly and pooped!
Just got in from my trainer and everything is sore...I also saw him monday and was sore monday and tuesday, then again today so I'll be sore until friday then I see him Saturday. I am probably going to add another training session on fridays as well to go 4 times a week and am still keeping up my hour walks every morning before lunch since the sun has been out here, finally! Still can't fit a damn thing, but I'll buy some clothes in paris and deal with it until it budges.
Anyway, last night we put Eva on that colorful pillow she loves (see pics on fb) and she was rolling in it and laughing and stroking it etc...and I turned to DH and said, you know it is amazing how having a baby, who sees everything for the first time, makes you really love life again - you notice colors, and shapes and textures that you usually do not even pay attention to because you have this little being who is going to see, touch and smell everything for the first time. It is amazing having a baby around - I am so happy.
Well, enough cheese, off to shower while the princess naps!
Oooh, I'm so jealous you girls all met up! How fun! How long did you have together?
I'm just loving all of your Facebook photos and videos - keep 'em coming!
BS and Suz - re: the hair. I'm the same. It grosses DH out that he keeps finding my hair absolutely everywhere. Gross. It must be related to our shifting hormones, do you think?
BS, that's great you're training so much. Do you feel yourself getting back to your original fitness level?
Alison - that's fab you've got someone to go walking with. Makes such a big difference to have someone else to motivate you. And I hear you on the shorts!
Beany - that's hilarious about the hickey! Just goes to show they have an amazing suck!
Suz - What is Catch of the Day?? I'm loving your pics on FB too!!
Everyone else - how was your night?
ATM - well, I have a bit of catching up to do so I'll try not to ramble too much. First up, Jack is just delicious and I'm loving having such a calm, happy bubby.
He's not sleeping those long stints at night anymore - it's back to 3 hours again. I have no idea why but it's not too bad. He sleeps really well during the day though so I spose it kind of makes up for it.
I have been trying to exercise each day and slowly but surely I'm dropping the weight. I have 6kg to go now. But I can't seem to help myself when it comes to eating junk. Like, yesterday, I had my mother's group over and I baked some brownies. They all nibbled at them and when they left I ate the rest of them. I'd say it was half of the entire batch. That's probably 1800 calories. I mean, seriously! Why do I do it?!
In other news, DH and have just sold our apartment! We didn't have it on the market (we've only been here 10 months) but were contacted by our agent who had a buyer who offered us a price we simply couldn't refuse! So, we are going to move out of here at the end of March (it's a quick settlement!) and just rent for 12 months. We'll probably buy an investment property in the city (Sydney) in the mean time and rent it out. It's all so strange because we do love this place but the money was just too tempting!
So, today I'm trying to find places to rent. Argh! So not fun.
Master Jack just woke up - better go and feed him.
Hi BS - sounds like Eva is getting into a routine for sleeping all night now, that's fantastic! I think you're right with the bright colours, babies much prefer them, I love bright and pastel colours so I have a bit of both for Amelia but I definitely think at this age the bright colours are more obvious to them, as well as shapes. With all your funky gear at home she must have a great time!
Hi Carmey - you look absolutely fantastic, if you lose 6kgs you will be a walking skeleton Seriously though you are skinny, those pics of you with Jack are amazing, I don't think I've ever been that skinny let alone 3 months after having a baby!
AFM - well I'm about to kill the people next door and given they're my in laws that could make things awkward. They are building next door and the freaking workmen are starting at 6.30 am and here they're not meant to start making noise until 7.00 am - they talk really loud, bang bricks around, start up the brick cutters and this morning we have a little bobcat and it's woken Amelia up again! She's used to noise and normally sleeps through it but I think because she's already stirring it just sets her off, I'd get another hour out of her if it wasn't for that. Not to mention myself, I had to get up to her twice last night because she'd jammed herself up against the side of the cot again and even though it's just fix her and back to bed it's still getting up isn't it. DH is down at the block at the moment but when he calls me today I'm going to tell him to call his parents and tell those workmen if they start before 7.00 am tomorrow I will go out there in my pj's and no makeup and messy hair and blast them! lol...the couple on the other side have a 7 month old baby as well and I noticed when I got up at 4.00 am their light was on so she was obviously doing the same as me! I'm sure she's not impressed either. I hope they don't realise the people building are related, I would feel so embarrassed. I just can't get past the fact they've had that block for 5 years and wait until I have a baby to start building.....rocks and head springs to mind.
Well, might as well go have breakfast, sounds like this bobcat is here to stay so I might have to go out this morning to get away from it. I have mums group this arvo at least.
Alison - Grrr to the workmen! That's really unfair. I would def be telling them to look at their watches because it's not fair to you guys or your neighbours. Us mummy's need all the extra sleep we can get!
Re: the weight thing. I'm really not that thin - I think the water shot just made the illusion I am! Honestly, I still can't fit into any of my old shorts, jeans or pants. I have this big belly that looks like I'm 3 months preggars at the end of the day. Ick.
Lobe the video on FB of you all in Perth. How nice it would be for us all to catch up. Like Alison said it's like we all have got to know each other so well over the last 12 months we have all been through one of the biggest life changing experiences of our lives together.
Alison, isn't it frustrating when someone wakes your baby up!. Over the last few days Sienna is really struggling to sleep during the day. She is waking up after about 20 mins and sucking on her hands but they then wake her up. Just as I get her to sleep, Lila runs in and makes quite a kerfuffle and I have to start all over again. It's exhausting!
Sounds like we are all loosing our hair!. Mine is black and I find it everywhere but the plug hole after the shower is the tell all.. at least I cut it short a few months ago, It was so long when I had Lila and I think I clogged up the vacuum cleaner more than once...eeewww
Carmey, I hope Jack starts to sleep better for you at night...its funny how if it's not one sleep its another...
Congrats on selling your apartment. It's a great time to sell and in Sydney prices are going nuts! get in before it's too late...I have no idea how our kiddies are ever going to be able to afford a home...
I got some grobags from the UK too.. so much cheaper than getting them from the aussies on ebay!.
Beany & Suz.. Lila was the same with her legs, she always wanted to stand and her legs were so strong. She started walking at 11 months old...that was a funny month!...madly scrambling to get everything out of reach around the house. It sure was 'baby proofed' in a hurry!.
Well done on all you ladies going and doing exercise. It feels wonderful to get out in the open air again doesn't it. I just love the adrenalin rush that getting puffed brings.
AFM tomorrow we are heading off to Sunrise headquarters to see the wiggles. We may even get on the telly! ...well Lila might. Andrew my husband is the audio director for sunrise (i used to be the assistant director before bubs 1 & 2 came along) so It will be a huge morning and I get to see all my old work mates too, so we are all excited.
Today I have my nuclear scan on my thyroid. I have to stop breastfeeding for 48 hours as the radiation stays in my breast milk so I have been pumping like crazy. I hope it all goes OK.
Big Hugs to all you girlies..
love Kanda...
Hi Carmey - I know, I'm not happy! Although the bobcat has stopped now.....so why do they have to do that first up if they only do it for 45 minutes, can't they wait until a little later!!!! All it did was move a few packs of bricks from one side of the pad to the other! Grrrr. Now everyone's awake! And if you want to see a fat guts I'll take a pic of mine and show you, I can't wear any of my skirts or shorts from pre pregnancy hence why I'm wearing waistless dresses, my exercise shorts were so tight on me yesterday it wasn't even funny!!! I meant to say before too, good luck finding a rental and yay for getting a great price on your place, will you buy again down the track? I hate renting. DH suggested we sell this and rent for a bit while we look around for something else and I said no way, to me it's dead money and I hate not being able to do what I like and having inspections etc. I still want to move though so we are going to look and see if there are any decent blocks left in our area that don't cost the earth - we bought ours 7 years ago so they were half the price they are now! We're near the ocean so the ones that are left are pretty exxy! Anyway, like I said, that's great you got a great price, how exciting to be approached like that!
Hi Kanda - we were posting at the same time! Oooh I'm watching Sunrise now, it's my fave morning show, will keep an eye out for you tomorrow. Do up a sign and stand in the background like they do so we can see you ha ha! Have fun with the Wiggles, I always hated the Wiggles but I've been told I need to get over that now I have a child....lol. Not sure why, they just irritate me for some reason - you watch, Amelia will love them so I'll have no choice ha ha. Good luck with your scan today, sounds a bit daunting but I'm sure you'll be fine. Let us know how it goes but we will be thinking of you and praying that it's nothing! xx

I had a great time catching up yesterday! I have to say, too - all of you look absolutely fantastic. And yous bubs are utterly gorgeous We'll have to make it a regular thing I think. I only thought this morning, too - if anyone else wanted to "join" us, I could easily set up my laptop on Skype
I'm losing my hair like crazy as well, just like everyone else. Pretty much every time I comb or wash I throw out a ball of hair the size of a small kitten (the joys of having hair down to your butt!). I practically didn't lose a single hair the whole pregnancy, so I figure I have nine months of shedding to catch up on.
I'll be back later for proper replies, brain is a bit useless atm. Liam had an unsettled night, so I'm a bit fuzzy from broken sleep.
Hi girls. Just a real quickie. It was so fantastic to meet the Perth girls yesterday. Funny how familiar everyone felt! I wish I was staying! And thanks for taking those gorgeous pictures Rose. Are you able to email me that gorgeous one of Matilda sucking my finger? Definitely want to print that one! I've just posted a few on FB (I really wish I'd actually had time to brush my hair and put some makeup on!). Well, I now realise why Matilda was soooooo unsettled yesterday. She has a cold. I didn't think it was like her to not take the boob when she was unsettled. I think she has a sore throat and the milk is stinging. Dad had a sore throat a couple of days ago but it went away pretty quickly and we didn't think much of it. I SOOOOOO hope we haven't given it to the other bubs. I'll feel terrible. Mea Culpa! Mea Culpa! I wouldn't have come if I'd realised! Sorry I can't reply to all the gorgeous posts. Sick bub and have to pack to go home tomorrow (if Tilly can even fly ).
Hi Tilda - you can right click on the FB photo Stephanie posted and Save As onto your PC, or you can do it from her Flickr website that she posted the link to on your private messages in FB. Hope that made sense. I've done the same and am going to order the one of Amelia with her bottom lip as an enlargement, hee hee. I just love that one of Matilda in black and white though, I'd pay for that!!! Clever Rose. Oh poor Matilda having a cold, no wonder!!!! Don't worry about our bubs, you weren't to know. It's probably from being on the aeroplane, people always get colds on those things! Hope she's feeling better soon - maybe you should get her checked out before you go, it's more their ears as it could be very painful if she's blocked up. xx
So enjoyed catching up yesterday too, I'm a bit scared to see the pics your mum took, I just know I'm going to look like a blimp. Last time I wore that dress was the day before Amelia was born and I looked like massive, not just my belly either! It's put me off that dress even though I love it really. ha ha. Oh well, will go check them out now then. Have a safe flight home and hopefully we can catch up again in May when you're back for your sister's wedding.
