Hi Beany - OMG I should've spoken to you and gone with yours that's so awesome and I think your pics will be better than mine, darn it! Might have to use her next time, what a fantastic price and if she's self taught she's a natural if you ask me, her shots are beautiful! I'm spewing I didn't go with her!!!! lol As for Michael rolling, watch out, in a few days he'll be rolling over onto his tummy. Amelia starting rolling from back to side on Tuesday and yesterday she rolled right over!!!!! Our two bubs are pretty much doing the same things at the same time aren't they, so cute. I thought Amelia was behind as well but the girls at mums group Thurs said their bubs aren't even doing the "attempt" yet and most of them are a week or more older!
I'm sorry he's cranky today, Amelia's fine so far but we're going out to my sister in laws for dinner - down your way actually (Canning Vale, is that close to you?) so I hope she stays this way. She has been sleeping a bit more so I definitely think the dreaded Wonder Week 19 is well and truly on it's way! I really hope you can still go to your fancy din dins. xx
I think Liam's in his own universe when it comes to rolling - he's been rolling from back to side for a few weeks, but shows no sign of any more. One of our friends told us that some kids actually skip rolling over completely, though.
beany - I hope you still get to go out to dinner! Clingy bubbas are really, really hard
Alison - Yay for the new camera!! It's definitely worth having a good camera with a bub. And Canons are super easy to use (unless you want to use a DSLR on manual, which I avoid, because it's too darn hard!)
Tilda - You're definitely not being unreasonable. I've been going through some of the same stuff with my DH actually - he's been going out and stuff (and spending time playing games and stuff) and it's annoying, because I feel like I don't get any time to myself. He has time every evening after I go to bed, but pretty much all of my time is spent with Liam. Which I don't resent per se, but I'd love to have some me time again.
AFM - Liam's cold is doing better. He's still stuffed up and not sleeping great, but he seems happier. Except now I'm getting it - have a horrid sore throat right now. Bleh. I'm hoping that it will be mild, since I don't know how I'm going to cope with looking after Liam while sick.
DH and I did manage to get out today to go and see Avatar (which was kind of awesome in 3D). I found it a bit hard to concentrate, though, since I kept on thinking of Liam and feeling guilty that we'd gone out two weekends in a row. My mother looked after Liam, though, and he was fairly well behaved (and took a bottle). He's been a bit velcro again since we got home, which I don't have a high tolerance for while I'm sick.
I'm realising as well at the moment that my postnatal depression is still a huge problem. Need to talk to my doctor again, I think, and figure out what to do.
