No I'm not okay with Alex walking - I'm beginning to think everything about him is th eopposite of what I expect....

I had the natural birth plan - no medical intervention - then I ended up with the emergency C section... then I was hoping he'd be the last one to move an dnow he's walking... so I'm just going to start wishing for the opposite of everything I want from now on...

Malyna- My mum used always say to me that DD was put on this earth to test me... she also used not "fit in" with my plans, I must admit she has made me a much more relaxed person now

Pinny I should have known that Alex was going to be one of those bubs - he never read any of the mothering books or the bubs books...

I had a hair cut on thursday and Alex had to stand on my lap for the last 20 minutes because he was whinging in the pram and the hairdresser was getting anxious. I said "Oh he's fine" and she was "Ohhh but he's sooo upset", so I could shut her up and get my hair done, I got him out of the pram.. and he proceeded to watch every move she made...

maybe he'll be a hairdresser when he's older - but then he was watching DH vacuum the carpet??

olive I hate sleep deprivation. I've ended up co-sleepign with Alex because he just won't settle and I'm exhausted.

    Hi all,
    Around but really busy.
E too was up last night. Very upset at 3;30. Ended up putting her in with us, and she still woke hourly. Just not sure what was wrong. I too hate cosleeping. I hope she is better tonight. She was clingy all day yesterday.....

    Hi girls,
I hear you with the sleep deprivation - had some rough nights here. I actually yelled at Jacob the other night I was so over being woken every hour when he didn't want to feed (was biting me instead). I was so tired yesterday I went to the next town 45 mins away all morning and left the two front windows of the house wide open Co-sleeping doesn't work in this house - he thinks it's a game to see how many times he had hit DP and I or pull our hair or otherwise squirm around so I'm stuck getting up to him everytime he wakes. Slightly better night last night - think it's the weather knocking him around and could be a wonder week too.

Also, today he worked out how to take off his nappy and celebrated his effort by weeing on everything - sheets, cot, himself, the outside of the nappy Of course the inside of the nappy was completely dry. Not impressed. Going away tomorrow - last thing I need is more washing!
