Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA with sleep deprivation and trying to get packed to go away... Shel, we have relatives in Adelaide so we go over every 2nd year for Christmas. Anyway our news is that Juliette is finally on the move - not quite crawling but forwardly mobile nonetheless. I have put a video up on FB
Meg - how is your sister? Have you decided on the feeding thing? I would feel weird but I would do it if needed. The only thing is that your milk is for a 10m old and her baby is younger so it might be different nutritionally for her needs - although people tandem feed without that being an issue![]()
With the water awareness I would start with a cup of water in the bath and do the "ready, 1, 2, 3" and tip the water over her head and face quickly. She will learn to hold her breath on the 3 and it will prepare her for submersion in the water. The other thing is to have her in a big bath where you can hold her in a float so she gets the feeling of weightlessness - or take her to the pool and do it. Also get her splashing so she gets used to being splashed in the face etc.
OP - good luck with the scan! Let us know how you go.
