Wow Olive - I admire you dropping the night feeds. Alex has been sleeping with me for 2mths and I'm exhausted. MIL said that I am probably emjoying it too much to give it up but to be honest I don't know how to get him out of it - in the old cycle of too exhausted to try, plus DH picks Alex up at the littlest sound, which drives me insane. I've had alex 24/7 since the 22nd November (the last time I got out on my own)...

My night went ok, but not as well as I hoped.
He woke at 10.30pm gave him a feed back to bed awake and slept fine till 1am, woke tried resettling without feed, became really angry fighting me and screaming! pulling at my top through the cot bars. Gave in and fed a quick feed one side, put back to bed and he went back to sleep until 6.30 am, no worries with settling himself once he has had a feed but really wanted to boobie milk. will try again tonight not to feed, between 11 and 6am what hours are you aiming for Olive?

Malyna- Hope you have a good time NYE, still not sure what we are doing yet. It is so hard I don't get any time to myself either unless going to the supermarket for half hour counts and that only rarely happens without DD.. I understand how you feel, too exhausted to change things... L started doing 5 hour blocks of sleep so I feel human again, and that's when I felt like I had the energy to try something... also if try to get out in the sunshine, it's amazing what effect a bit of fresh air can has,

hey girls, think I need to google Jay Gordan too. DS sleep over Christmas has been absolute rubbish!! He is feeding up to 6 times in the 12 hour overnight period. Last night he actually went from about 8pm to 1am without waking which was a bit of a record during the past week. Of course I wasn't sleeping that entire time Have been so tired I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy his first Christmas properly And I have had a sore throat since the 23rd. Grrrr!! Ok, enough whinging from me!!

Olive - Hope S is feeling better.
Malyna - is your NYE baby free?? You really need some time out!
Pinny - Hope you have a better night tonight! I give in too - start with cuddles but then feed because it's taking too long and I want to go back to bed!
